In Shanghai the floodlights on the buildings along the Bund and the illuminations of the skyscrapers over the river - quite famous images - are turned off at 10pm (11pm weekends). Seems a good plan, for both reducing light pollution and the massive amount of energy that lighting the lot overnight would use, that London could follow.eleanarghnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3739003444076568330.post-31241734141571358652008-10-03T14:53:00.000+01:002008-10-03T14:53:00.000+01:00What a lovely photo (the bottom one), very 'Atkins...What a lovely photo (the bottom one), very 'Atkinson Grimshaw'scared of chivesnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3739003444076568330.post-62801045345055846982008-10-03T14:11:00.000+01:002008-10-03T14:11:00.000+01:00I don't want to add a commercial to this - but the...I don't want to add a commercial to this - but the East Greenwich Traders group are still looking for donations to help them illuminate Trafalgar Road over Christmas.nicelightsnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3739003444076568330.post-5639396760994576832008-10-03T12:12:00.000+01:002008-10-03T12:12:00.000+01:00This has nothing to do with your article Phantomb ...This has nothing to do with your article Phantomb other than you mention Patrick Woodruffe as the lighting designer for the Cutty Sark.
