There are now so many ice rinks all over London and they have been around long enough that the appeal is seen to have diminished. The rink was also run by the same company that ran the wheel, which may have something to do with it. In Shanghai the floodlights on the buildings along the Bund and the illuminations of the skyscrapers over the river - quite famous images - are turned off at 10pm (11pm weekends). I worked with him years ago and he did a very neat trick, he seemed to swallow a lit cigarette and left no trace of it anywhere, I searched for hours after he left but couldnt find his lit butt end anywhere?
