Last night, one great friend invited us to see The Swell Season at Oakland's Paramount Theater. Not only was the venue amazing but the concert blew us away! These are photos from last night's World Diabetes Day event at the Ferry Building here in San Francisco. After an amazing Big Blue Test in the course of the day, the event lighting up the building in blue with a great attendance by about 50-some people touched by diabetes really made yesterday the best World Diabetes Day ever! July 14, 2009 more than 1,000 people with diabetes answered our call and tested their blood sugar at the same time. Our goal was to reach 14,000 people, however the people who participated in this online event felt more connected to others with diabetes than they had felt in a long time.
