today i spent my last working day in camp. on friday i'll collect my long lost pink ic then it'll be O-R- to the effing D. finally. last thursday night as i lay in my bunk and realised it was my last night in jurong camp, i started to get all sentimental. all the memories jus flooded back, e good(playing soccer), e bad(area cleaning) and the ugly(hookoklong haha fukface). it all brought a tear to the eye. haha. yea right
This is e part wheere pple like to reminisce and go" Hey, it wasn't so bad!"
Hell no. make no mistake abt it , it was every bit so bad. To my platoon mates: its been some ride guys. but im sure we can all agree tt its been a pretty shitty ride. field camps,exercises non-stop, ndp,ahm,POI, more outfield, build bridge tear down, build conwire then clear, dig minehole then cover up. KNN.haha. but sure, we had our gd times, CITI was fun, thailand was pretty fantastic, and i rediscovered my love for soccer hahh.
Really wanan thank e platton for e experience..sorry im stoning half e time camp life has a tranquiliser effect onme la haah...Time will pass, but e memories will nvr fade....

now if only i could siam reservice......

its been a week since i had my braces fixed on and i have to say that so far it has been HELL. From living on a porridge diet to struggling to finsh even e smallest meals...soft bread felt like stone to my teeth...i watched helplessly while my frens feasted.....for someone like myself who considers eating to be one of e great joys of living, this past week has been nothing short of depressing in fact its been torture. but its been getting better i guess, right now ive pretty much returnrd to my regular diet cept that i can only eat in really small mouthfuls so i eat really slowly. Well, basically right now i eat like a woman. and that pisses me off, only because im so used to gobblimg my ffod down...and id jus like to state for the record taht i find food really tastes better gobbled down.

even though e pain is getting better, e real acid test for my teeth came this weekend . yep, its tt time of the yr where once again we gathered for the time honoured tradition of stuffing our faces with food. now ive always been a firm believer in traditions, because something only becomes a tradition if pple keep doing it, and if pple keep doing it, it has to be smth good. And so in keeping with tradition this new yr, i forced myself thru e pain barrier of my braces to gobble down all that food. yes there were times my teeth hurt so bad that eating just seeened impossible. but impossible is nothing. I know that cos i heard tracy mcgrady say it in some ad on tv, and I trust tracy mcgrady.

as u can see my blog has pretty much died off, just like predicted it would in the first post.
e weird thing is ive discovered, much to my surprise tt pple actually do read my blog. and so as not to disappoint my blogs hordes of fans....i hereby announce my glorious return! now with some luck, fingers crossed, u can be expecting my next entry in the not so distant future..maybe next millenia(shit is tt how u spell it?) or so...

shiet man this clip is bloody cool....one of e most touching clips ive ever seen..moved me close to tears man....makes me feel like playing rugby again. just realised i havent watched e all blacks play for damn long..seriously miss watching e collins' and mccaws n rokocokos of this world tear their opponents to bits...which leads me to my next qn....why in heck did scv stop broadcasting international test matches?? nobody watches tt heineken cup bullshiy anyway..... i already missed this yrs tri-nations man...rugby world cup is up next year..espn-starsports if your reading this..better wake up your hwarking idea!! er but thanks for showing liverpool matches every week though appreciate it..

e weekends been pretty crappy so far...eic didnt play at wala last night instead this other band played a bunch of strange songs n tuang for like 1 hr between sets...then soccer this morning at china high was painful in more ways then one...too hot too crowded ended up playin like 2 matches e whole morning...and now i got 2 monster blisters on my feet...seriously need new shoes for soccer man..

my friends are off having fun in kl while im stuck here insingapore thanks again to the SAF. Normally i would prolly be damn depressed, but ive lost count of e number of times ive missed out on stuff over e past 20 months or so thanks to e army so ive pretty much grown immune to it... anyways it doesnt relly matter anymore...as of today im left w just 119 days before im officially done with e army..count off and leave and im down to double digits...sweeeeeet.

heres a band i spent a good deal of my sec school yrs listening to...used to think these guys were super cool, so watching this clip was really kinda nostalgic in a weird way....even though i dont relly listen to them anymore cos they're a lil biy too juvenile for me now tt i have, *ahem* matured n mellowed so much but theres no doubt limp bizkit and mr freddie D will always hold a special place in my heart....anyway this is a pretty cool cover of metallicas sanitarium tho they prolly couldn't pull off e solo but they replaced it with a stylish turntable solo instead which is pretty creative i think...

on another note, i jus got a new creative zen neeon mp3 player...busy packing it w music now ...haha..sweet.

Finally hauled my fat procrastinating ass off to start a blog after thinking about doing it for just about forever now. The title of this blog is stolen from a line from the coldplay song 'fix you'....i know it sounds like it carries some really cool, deep, poetic underlying meaning pertaining to what i intend to blog about, but er it really doesn'nt mean anything to me. Anyway dont really know what exactly i intend to blog about just yet...prolly just pretty random stuff i guess. and theres every possibility tt i'll just be too lazy or uninspired to do anything and this blog will just die off...but seeing how i foresee having a good deal more free time on my hands pretty soon i guess this is as good a time as any to give it a go hahah so we'll see how it goes la.....
