In Tokyo on the weekends, the trendy area of Harajuku is a melting pot of urban tribes: Lolita goths bat their fake eyelashes, while the punks glower. Away from the strutting are the retiring wallflowers, a quiet army of sweet young men with floppy hair and skinny jeans. These young men are becoming known as Japan's "herbivores" — from the Japanese phrase for "grass-eating boys" — guys who are heterosexual but who say they aren't really interested in matters of the flesh.

They are drawn to a quieter, less competitive life, focusing on family and friends — and eschewing the macho ways of the traditional Japanese male. They include men such as Yukihiro Yoshida, a 20-something economics student, who is a self-confessed herbivore. "I don't take initiative with women, I don't talk to them," he says, blushing. "I'd welcome it if a girl talked to me, but I never take the first step myself."

Multiple recent surveys suggest that about 60 percent of young Japanese men — in their 20s and early 30s — identify themselves as herbivores. Their Sex and the City is a television show called Otomen, or Girly Guys. (NPR)

Herbivores are, of their own volition, mired in a ‘girls are icky’ stage of adolescence. Unwilling to get horizontal and squishy, their psychological self-castration allows their nads to wither on the, uh, vine. In and of itself, that doesn’t qualify them for this award, but, their steadfast devotion to a boob tube show named ‘Girlie Guys’, seals the deal, for Yukihiro Yoshida and his grass munching cohorts. Steaming Loads of the Week Award: This week, at least two titanic turds floated to the surface.

Turd 1: Globally Warmed assholes with a political agenda pervert science by deliberately faking global warming data.

Rational adults had already sniffed out this Global Warming is a Crock stinker, but we could never prove it, until now. Thanks to some hackers, we now have the smoking gun.
According to the UK Telegraph, "Around 1,000 emails and 3,000 documents were stolen from UEA computers by hackers last week and uploaded on to a Russian server before circulating on websites run by climate change sceptics. Some of the correspondence indicates that the manipulation of data was widespread among global warming researchers.

"The hackers also published an anonymous note alongside the emails: "We feel that climate science is too important to be kept under wraps. We hereby release a random selection of correspondence, code, and documents. Hopefully it will give some insight into the science and the people behind it."

Amongst the gems released is one email from the Unit's director Phil Jones in 1999: "I've just completed Mike's Nature [the science journal] trick of adding in the real temps to each series for the last 20 years (ie, from 1981 onwards) and from 1961 for Keith's to hide the decline." Apparently, the agenda is more important than the facts. (ALG’s Daily Grind)
The lying rat bastards at University of East Anglia have perverted science to further their own personal agenda. The damage to real science is incalculable. Ironically, these hacked e-mails only confirm what others already knew and stated on the record:
Climate Change in its computer models projecting "climate change" has repeatedly (and conveniently) been destroyed. And that data was compiled by none other than the UEA's Climatic Research Unit, as was revealed by National Review's Patrick J. Michaels in September.

In the real scientific field, there is a principle called "falsifiability," pioneered in 1963 by Karl Popper. It asserts that "the criterion of the scientific status of a theory is its falsifiability, or refutability, or testability." Therefore, the only way to prove that a theory is not true is to show that it is false. For example, the only way fully reliable way to prove that all swans are not white is produce one that is black.

It is now clear to all that the folks at the Climatic Research Unit took a decidedly different slant on "falsifiability." They decided that the only way to prove that their theory was true was simply to falsify the facts. Author and lecturer Nonie Darwish says the goal of radical Islamists is to impose Shariah law on the world, ripping Western law and liberty in two.

She recently authored the book, Cruel and Usual Punishment: The Terrifying Global Implications of Islamic Law.

Darwish was born in Cairo and spent her childhood in Egypt and Gaza before immigrating to America in 1978, when she was eight years old. Her father died while leading covert attacks on Israel . He was a high-ranking Egyptian military officer stationed with his family in Gaza .

When he died, he was considered a "shahid," a martyr for jihad. His posthumous status earned Nonie and her family an elevated position in Muslim society.

But Darwish developed a skeptical eye at an early age. She questioned her own Muslim culture and upbringing. She converted to Christianity after hearing a Christian preacher on television.

In her latest book, Darwish warns about creeping sharia law -- what it is, what it means, and how it is manifested in Islamic countries.

For the West, she says radical Islamists are working to impose sharia on the world. If that happens, Western civilization will be destroyed. Westerners generally assume all religions encourage a respect for the dignity of each individual. Islamic law (Sharia) teaches that non-Muslims should be subjugated or killed in this world.

Peace and prosperity for one's children is not as important as assuring that Islamic law rules everywhere in the Middle East and eventually in the world.

While Westerners tend to think that all religions encourage some form of the golden rule, Sharia teaches two systems of ethics -- one for Muslims and another for non-Muslims. Building on tribal practices of the seventh century, Sharia encourages the side of humanity that wants to take from and subjugate others.

While Westerners tend to think in terms of religious people developing a personal understanding of and relationship with God, Sharia advocates executing people who ask difficult questions that could be interpreted as criticism.

It's hard to imagine, that in this day and age, Islamic scholars agree that those who criticize Islam or choose to stop being Muslim should be executed. Sadly, while talk of an Islamic reformation is common and even assumed by many in the West, such murmurings in the Middle East are silenced through intimidation.

While Westerners are accustomed to an increase in religious tolerance over time, Darwish explains how petro dollars are being used to grow an extremely intolerant form of political Islam in her native Egypt and elsewhere.

Ted "The Swimmer" Kennedy, "he was not a good practicing Catholic because of the positions he's taken as a public official, particularly on abortion," Bishop Tobin informed Kennedy he has instructed the diocesan priests not to gve him Communion.

Earlier this year Patrick Kennedy took the Catholic Church and Bishops

to task for encouraging stricter controls on federally funded abortions and stated --

"...the Catholic Church was only fanning “the flames of dissent and discord” by taking the position that it will oppose the health care reform bill under consideration in Congress unless it is amended to explicitly prohibit funding of abortion."

Coming from the Kennedy Klan, which was built on the fortunes of illegal bootlegging by his Grandfather, the communist loving Papa Joe Kennedy, and feeling the Kennedy's are above God, Patrick forgot that although you may be forgiven -- there are consequences for your sins....

"While I greatly respect the Catholic Church and its leaders, like many Rhode Islanders, the fact that I disagree with the hierarchy of the church on some issues does not make me any less of a Catholic," Kennedy wrote in a letter to Tobin, agreeing to a meeting.

"I embrace my faith which acknowledges the existence of an imperfect humanity."

The bishop wrote back: "Sorry, you can't chalk it up to an 'imperfect humanity.' Your position is unacceptable to the Church and scandalous to many of our members. It absolutely diminishes your Communion with the Church." (Irish Central)

A Council on American-Islamic Relations adviser and regular speaker at its events has suggested Islamic law permits Muslims to attack C-130 military transport planes carrying the 82nd Airborne out of Fort Bragg, N.C., according to a stunning new book exposing Washington-based CAIR's inner workings.

Acceptable targets of jihad, he says, include U.S. military aircraft.

After serving on Cair's national board for three years and being elected the new Chairman in Marh 2009, Fisher offered up this completely ridiculous propaganda piece....

“CAIR embraces the cultural and religious pluralism that is a hallmark of America and repudiates any misuse of Islam to falsely justify violence or intolerance. “We look forward to partnering with the Obama administration to help defend civil liberties and to project to the world the best of our nation’s universal, constitutional and pluralistic values of freedom and justice.” (Muslim Media Network)

That CAIR repudiates any misuse of Islam for justifying violence and is working for pluralistic values of freedom and justice is not propaganda -- but a flat out LIE!

CAIR does not believe that Hamas is a terrorist entity, though it has been so designated by the Dept. of State for 14 years.
The DC office of CAIR was originally funded by a $5,000 wire transfer from the Hamas funder Holy Land Foundation.

Given that Attorney General Eric Holder will be speaking at an upcoming event sponsored by a group affiliated with CAIR, even after the FBI has severed all ties with CAIR, Fisher is accurate in stating they will be partnering with the Obama Administration --

Yost secures Butler County GOP Endorsement for OH Attorney General

The GOP primary for OH Attorney General is shaping up to be very interesting. Not because we have two good candidates (Duh - this is OH), but because we finally have some new blood that can truly be considered a conservative -- Dave Yost, running against a career politician -- Mike DeWine, who can probably spell the word "conservative" but is missing over half the pages in his "Conservatism for Dummies" book.

Yes, this would be the same Brady Bill supporting, gun hating Mike DeWine that was soundly spanked at the polls by the now Senator Sherrod Brown.

Why is this race interesting? Because the ORP wants to do business as usual and give the state party endorsement to Little Mikey DeWine, who is related to ORP Chairman Kevin DeWine, because they know he will do as they say. But things are now quite working out that way.

Yost, who has the support of 70% of the Republican county prosecutors in OH, just landed another gem of endorsement that can be politically equated to peeing in Mikey's bowl of cereal...

ACORN sues over "Feeding at the Federal Trough" Privileges being Revoked

After having their funding cut by congress earlier this year, ACORN is now suing the government for being "unfair" by stopping the funding and saying their constitutional rights were violated....

The scandal-hit liberal grass-roots group ACORN sued the U.S. government on Thursday, saying it did not have the right to cut off ACORN's federal funding because the group had not been convicted of a crime.

"It's not the job of Congress to be the judge, jury, and executioner," said Jules Lobel, an attorney with the Center for Constitutional Rights, which brought the case in Brooklyn federal court.

"We have due process in this country, and our constitution forbids lawmakers from singling out a person or group for punishment without a fair investigation and trial," Lobel said. (Reuters)

With the House narrowly passing Obama Care and taking us one step closer to government run health care, we have taken one step closer to losing our 2nd Amendment rights.

With the full frontal assaults on our 2nd Amendment rights that we are already facing under the Obama administration, you can expect the "epidemic" of gun violence being a health care issue will be up next on the anti-gun menu.

Much like the wily cockroach that can squeeze through the smallest of openings, the anti-gun parasites will not be above trying to take away our 2nd Amendment rights through the opening created with any government take over of our health care.

As usual when it comes to being on top of any attacks on our 2A rights, the guys at Buckeye Firearms outline the scenario in how this could happen....

As such, the debate on healthcare reform occurring across the U.S. is not something that would be within our normal sphere of coverage. However, my good friend Chad Baus posted a story a few days ago highlighting how the Centers for Disease Control has begun researching gun violence and the impact of gun violence on healthcare costs. This immediately set off alarm bells in my head as the pieces fell into place. Why, you
ask?

Healthcare reform is a brilliant way to regulate/ban firearms without violating the Second Amendment.

Healthcare reform, which seems completely innocuous to gun rights at first blush, is a Trojan Horse. Of that, there can be no doubt. The only real question is whether our enemies will choose to use it as such. Given the string of court and legislative defeats the anti-gun groups have suffered, is there any doubt whether the Brady Bunch will pass up an opportunity to regulate firearms in this oblique manner?

Chad's article pointed to a Washington Times editorial taking the CDC to task for circumventing congressional orders to abstain from gun control "research." The original reasoning behind this "research" ban was that the CDC would be using tax dollars to advance a gun control agenda, and the taxpayers rightly put an end to these shenanigans. Now, under President Obama, the CDC is defying this ban by researching "health care costs" and how guns impact health insurance and health care services. If any reader is in doubt as to what the results of this "research" will be, you might as well stop reading now.

So, sometime in the near future, a tax-payer funded study will show that gunshot wounds take up a tremendous amount of medical resources, More...

We already see the "epidemic" of gun violence mantra being chirped by some big city mayors, one being Mayor Jackson of Cleveland, who has already enacted illegal gun restrictions. So this is not as far-fetched as some may think. This should also be very troubling for any supporters of our 2A rights here in Cuyahoga County.

Why?

Because combining this with the passing of Issue 6 Cuyahoga County Reform, which Jackson strongly supported, the residents have allowed a restructuring of our county government crafted and supported by the anti-gun forces in this area.
