Another blog platform? Pretty much.
But I think Yahoo's pulled this one off pretty well.
It has a lot of features that HTML/CSS folks have tried to intergrate into their sites.

The last few days I've been trying to brainstorm some ideas about my website.
Not just the website itself, but the use of my 10GB of webspace.
( yes 10GB )

I'm not happy with my blogger/blogspot portion.
I myself rarely visit the damned thing. I don't use it for the blog, I use it for the
links.

Here's what I'm thinking.
Keep the blogger/blogspot content running, but without the written blog content.
I will still maintain the streaming radio, graphics, pics and links.

I want AntFreq.com to focus on mutli-media.
I have dozens of Gigabytes of media with plenty bandwidth and storage space.

As for the blog's written portion, that will be presented and hosted on Live Journal.

I have several reasons for doing this, and have actually tried this in the past to some extent. Live Journal is just far more condusive to blogging and browsing blogs/journals.

Having my blog solely on Live Journal gives the ability for all comments/discussions to take place in one forum. It also allows visitors to read associated Live Journals (friends & communities ) in one simple click.

Freaky Friday

On random Fridays I visit Something Awful.com

A hilarious site, which presents FhotoShop Friday, well... every Friday.

But this time, when I visited, it's not there.

Well sorta.

It's there, but in pretty bad shape. Ya see, their host for the site
is most likely literally gone due to the hurricane.

In perfect SA presentation, it makes a (political) point, takes a couple jabs,
gives kudos and throws out some humor.

A site viewed by thousands all over this globe is disabled.
Just a tiny speck in the sandy beach of the internet world.
And you thought the hurricane didn't affect you outside of the gas prices.

...it's done. It's official.

As of 2:30 this afternoon, Al and I have have signed the lease agreement to the 2 story building at 2315 K Street. [edit: 23rd St & K Street]

We have found the future new home for the True Love, part/chapter/version 2.

It's going to be months and months before we get open. From now until whenever, we have much planning, renovating, permit-getting and quite a bit of manual labor (digging, hauling, painting, planting) to do.

Anyone out there a planner? Architect? Plumber? Electrician? Local politician? We need some help :)

We now have an old C2-zoned house that we need to turn into a funky, vibrant, night-time coffeehouse.

I've found several websites that are Cell & PDA friendly.
