The old Don Muang Airport in Bangkok (still used for domestic flights) had a great transit lounge, places for massages and facials, and even a cafe where you could get good Thai food and smoke a cigarette afterwards. I spent 3 hours in Suvarnabhumi airport yesterday with an almost-three-year-old and had exhausted all entertainment options once we'd run a few laps, slurped down some overpriced Japanese soup, and watched people protest at having their toiletries taken off them before they could board the plane. I didn't see much there either, however I did get there pretty late at night and didn't hang around.
