So Lesley has hurt her leg, we don't know how, but she is off to the doctors later this morning.

Posting of parcels and emails will be delayed, as the sewing room/office is downstairs. We apologise for any inconvenience caused, and will hopefully be back on track by the weekend.

Update! - Tendonitis, but the doctor has no idea why or how :( - strapping and rest for a few days. Lesley will get back to any emails, posting etc as soon as she is able. Again we apologise for any inconvenience

that time go :) I've been working steadily away to restock the store, not as much as I would have liked, but still a decent amount, and quite a mixture of types. I have lots of cute little newborn raphaels going up.

These are available for $20 each, or buy 3 for $60 and get free postage. Raphaels ONLY will be yours when carted, the remainder of the stock is as always yours when checked out. I am happy to combine postage on any orders, please email for a revised invoice. I can no longer combine orders if you have already paid. Please also remember that paypal orders over $50 will only be sent registered post at your expense.

My ever helpful and wonderful Angel is on the move and so will be out of contact for approximately 3 weeks, so unfortunately you'll have to deal with me for the next few weeks ;) Please remember it is still school holidays and during this time I work around my little cherubs, so please be patient if you are awaiting an email.

Oh yes and I suppose you'd like to know when the stock is going up? It will be tomorrow morning the 5th January. With previews up from late this afternoon. I will be stocking via my OZeBaby Store

Closed for the holidays!

Well we are closed now from today until the 5th January, I'll still be working behind the scenes but emails and the like may be slower to be answered, as I spend time with the family and get our own Christmas Treats organised.

Well can you believe it's nearly Christmas. This year certainly has flown by. The Cherub house has certainly had it's share of challenges and hiccups this year, but here's hoping from a fresh start and alot less hiccups for 2010.
Well we are closed now from today until the 5th January, I'll still be working behind the scenes but emails and the like may be slower to be answered, as I spend time with the family and get our own Christmas Treats organised.

I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the support and patronage I've received throughout the year, it means alot to Shane and I that we continue to receive this.

The Cherub children have had a fun packed and busy year. Amy has just finished first year Uni, Sarah has just finished year 11. William has thoroughly enjoyed his preppie year and little Miss K is blasted her way through kindy having a ball and making us laugh at every turn with her antics.

I've sneakily stocked some semi-customs over the last few days, but that's it folks until I return in the New Year. I'm planning a larger than normal stocking late January or early February, so keep your eyes peeled on my blog for updates.

I'd also like to send out a massive thank you to my Angel who has gone above and beyond the call of duty in the last few months, to keep the Cherub's Kiss family on an even keel and dealt with all the emails and everything.

Thank you also to all the Mums, Dads and bubbas that have turned up for my photo shoots, you have all been an absolute pleasure to have onboard.

The draw for the free nappy from photos sent it, will be drawn in the next couple of weeks and the winner notified by email and posted on the blog.

The Cherub Family look forward to keep you in divine creations in 2010, with a few surprises in the mix.

Also don't forget that Gossamer Dreams Team take a well earned break in January, but will be back in February to take your breathe away yet again.

Well due to one little miss being unwell, I don't think I'm going to have anymore ready made stock to go up on the site. So I've decided to list a handful of semi-custom slots.

What's a semi-custom slot - you can choose size and type, but I won't send photos of available fabrics, the fabrics you want need to be chosen from my galleries on either
Cherub's Kiss, OZeBaby or Gossamer Dreams or by going through the blog. I'm sorry no hand dyes or appliques. Just the standard range of napppies that I have.

These are pre-orders and such won't be making their way to you until after I re-open in January, if I find myself at a loose end they 'might' come earlier, but please do not expect them until the 2nd week of January.

What a gorgeous bunch of children!

Well I had my second photo shoot yesterday - 11 gorgeous babies, 12 gorgeous outfits, lots of cupcakes and watermelon. A beautiful day - not too hot, not too cold. Everyone was fairly happy though one little tiny cherub dropped her lip as I was getting her dressed :( But she forgave me later :)

A huge thank you to my photographer Trudy,who drove a very long way and worked very hard all morning. Everything pretty much went according to plan, and bubs and parents were all happy and relaxed, just what you want on a beautiful summer's day.

So of course here are just some of the many, many photos that were taken.

The divine Mr T, attitude and spunk for this little man and I think the nappy suited him perfectly - it was perhaps my favourite nappy of the day.

At the end of the morning, all the 11 children, with their santa hats and cupcakes. And yes I made the cupcakes, and given what happened a bit later, I think the children enjoyed them, keep checking the blog for the rest of the piccies.

The very delightful Miss A - who was an absolute dream, and followed instructions to the letter, she brought along her very gorgeous older brother as well, they both have the most divine eyes, but here is a piccy of her very beautiful curls and her twirly dress.

And last but not least the very photogenic Miss Abby, who was has the most amazing model poses, and kept Mummy and photographer in stitches with her cuteness and willingness to do anything asked of her.

A massive thank you to the mummies and daddies that brought their wonderful children to my shoot. You should have all by now received another email from me with more details, let me know if you haven't. A huge thank you also to Jade for the lend of her cupcake tree. My photographer Trudy, you've done all I asked and more, and my darling DH who has put up with my incessant stressing over the last couple of weeks, trying to get everything all finished and showcase the best of Cherub's Kiss products. By the way whose insane idea was it to have a photo shoot and Gossamer Dreams stocking on the same day.

Well here's the end result of the Christmas Auction that went up recently.

And here is the most gorgeous little man who was the recipient of said garments, isn't he just the most handsome boy.

Now I'm running myself ragged trying to get goodies finished for both Gossamer Dreams and my photo shoot. So don't expect any more random stock up on the store until at least Wednesday. Most of the items for Gossamer Dreams are newborn to size 1, as I've left them both by the wayside lately, and I felt the need for newborn goodies.

I hate being ill

with a passion. It frustrates me, drives me batty and puts me so behind :(

Anyways 5 days with no sewing done, doesn't make me a happy camper. But I'm back into it today - finishing the very last of a large custom order and then the Christmas Set from the Auction - which if I do say so myself is too cute for words.

Then it's making nappies/sets for the photos shoot, more of my to do list, though it is so much smaller and I've promised Shane and Angel that I WILL NOT add to it before Christmas, so that I do get a small break with family over the Christmas period.

And last but not least stock for the CK shop, I have lots cut out, just waiting to be snapped, even some very popular old favourites that were hiding in the cut box oops!

Oh and nearly forgot Gossamer Dreams - oh dear - lots of little baby items I think from me, think soft, white, snuggly and cute.

I have a Christmas Set up for Auction - you get to choose pretty much anything you like, within reason. Your choice of nappy, your choice of size. T-shirt and shorts, t-shirt and skirt or a pretty little dress. I will of course be honest and if I think something won't work, I will say so.

Hiccups!

Something I just don't need at the moment.

Anyways apologies to those that were waiting for GD to go live at 8pm QLD time - seems that Congo Cart moves everyone to daylight savings time, even those that don't have it. Error was corrected and it was just about 8pm that it all went up and live.

And for those that missed it.

Here's a picture of my winged nappy - I'll be adding different wings in the next few weeks, so you can swap and chop and change to suit you. You could even add a snap to any Auriel that you already own to snap in your own wings.

I've just popped these wings, on a plain blue denim nappy, with jeans stitch topstitching.

And please for those of you that do - send healing vibes to Shane, he's really not very well, and like all men reckons he is fine, I know otherwise. So please keep him in your thoughts until we get everything sorted and get to the bottom on his illness.

I won't be stocking over the weekend as we stock Gossamer Dreams tomorrow night and I have to get everything ready for that.

There are some divine goodies up on Gossamer Dreams, it's going to be hard which to pick.

Well it was a late stocking for me last night, I'm still having trouble with my automatics, I know it's me, cause GD works perfectly everytime - so I keep working on that.

If you'd like to score some of the gorgeous fabrics I used just pop along to Fairy Fabrics to pick some up.

Nappy Hunt Prizes

are away - well bar the 5 being picked up by the courier today - but the rest should have either arrived already or will be in your hot little hands shortly.

here are some piccies of the awesome prizes and a huge thank you to Tracy from Fairy Fabrics for her help in packing them up. It still takes us many hours to sort, pack, and post these items and we thank you for your patience whilst we work around our paid jobs and families.

Here is my darling who helped me take them to the post office, to wait at the counter for nearly an hour processing all the parcels.

I'll be putting up some more new pretties later today on the CK site all going according to plan, but it will be late in the day.

Stocking

today, items will go up with a time on them as the feedback I have received seems to suggest this is what you prefer. They should start to go up previewing after lunch, all going to plan.

I'm going to mix things up from tomorrow, some items will go up randomly and some with a set time -should be something for everyone in the next few days.

Currently there is a nappy up for lottery - you pick size and colour from those available. This lottery is open to all. New customer lottery coming tomorrow. I am only going to run one lottery at a time, to avoid any confusion.

Sigh! So my automatics aren't working and I've no idea why - they'll go up manually but I will try and put a time next to them, so you aren't at the computer for ages waiting. Really, really sorry. Next lot will go up a bit later around 5pm. I have kidlets to pick up and a DH to take to the doctors.

Wow talk about cluck, cluck, cluck. 4 gorgeous wee bubbas and a pile of Cherub's Kiss nappies, sigh heaven!!!

A massive thank you to the babies from left to right Emalyn, Brooke, Levi and Asher. All were gorgeously well behaved given they were poked and moved, and changed countless times.

Girly ones!!

This are for one of the most gorgeous mumma's I know. I hope she likes them.

One was a challenge being double gauze from Heather Ross in the Princess and the Pea Range, but I think I managed to wangle a few things and make it work, it sure does look beautiful. The other a Tillbrook Fairy - and a fairy needs some pizzazz so I added the ruffle on the back.

Then the start of the boys goodies. Some of the fabrics were sent by the customer and some are mine, and they are all very boyish if I do say so myself.

And because it's the 1st November - the first of my offering for Gossamer Dreams. A lush and squishy, hand reverse appliqued Christmas trees, gorgeous santa with sleighs print and lime slush minky inner. Girly goodness.

Girly Explosion

Seems there is a girly explosion of semi customs and customs. Lots of frills, ruffles and super girly naps.

Firstly a 1st birthday set for a gorgeous little girl and her wonderfully mama. Butterflies have special meaning to this family. It's a reversible denim/butterfly print pinnie, with a frill and reverse applique minky butterfly - hand stitched in varigated thread.

And of course you can't have a pinnie without a matching ruffler can you, so the nappy has been made to match. Too cute!!!

Then a special custom set from the CK store that was auctioned during the hunt. Hand dyed AIO with hand embroidery and applique.

The little tshirt and nappy front - hand dyed in shades of green and turquoise to represent grass and sky - appliqued with minky flowers.

And the back - rainbow minky applique with clouds and sun.

And quite a few more either in the post or going in the next few days, more pics up tomorrow :)

Cherub's Kiss Photo Shoot

The Cherub's Kiss Family is looking for some cloth bottomed bubs for an upcoming photoshoot. The photographs will be used to promote Cherub's Kiss Products both on the web and in print as the need arises. The babies need to be happy, good natured, of course adorable and will need to be happy to go to someone other than their Mamas. Mums and bubs need to be available for a couple of hours and be flexible with dates and times - shoot date and place to be confirmed, but it will definitely be Northside of Brisbane. You and your baby, will be paid in Cherubs Kiss Nappies but please note these nappies will be chosen by myself and will be used in the photoshoot. I need at least two newborns (under 6 weeks) and then a variety in sizes/ages/sexes from 3 months of age to 2. I know there will be lots of gorgeous bubs to choose from so please don't be upset if your bubba isn't chosen this time.

If you are not in Brisbane don't despair as I need to update my gallery so I am looking for pictures of babies wearing Cherub's Kiss Products. All those who send in their pics will go into the draw for a Cherub's Kiss Nappy.

Now the technical data!! Please read carefully

1. Photos to be sent to lesleyfletcher at cherubskiss dot com with Cherub's Kiss Photo Shoot in the subject.
2. Photos to be no larger than 100kb

Breast Cancer Fundraiser

Reusable Nappy Week - Sewing Workshop

Well Reusable Nappy Week is done and dusted for another year. It was an amazingly busy week this week, with lots of events here in Brisbane. All of those involved and well and truly exhausted but in a good way.

I had a lovely though flat out busy day teaching 15 lovely ladies and their gorgeous bubbas how to sew an AI2 from the soon to be released Pookey Pockets Pattern from The Cloth Nappy Shop.

A huge thank you to Jill and Tracy from Fairy Fabrics for arranging the hall and the kits - more kits are available from their store. The patterns are available from The Cloth Nappy Shop.

Thank you to Bek for allowing us to use her pattern. Thank you to Celena and Jade who watched countless little bubbas and made cups of tea and coffee.

I think everyone had a fabulous time.

Well I am off to the Cloth Nappy Shop tomorrow for the RNW get together. So I thought I'd post some piccies for those not able to attend.

These two nappies will be up for grabs, one a lucky door prize and the other part of a raffle to raise funds for Breast Cancer - you can check out more items raising funds here from 4pm 19th October. The blue one is from the new divine range of minkys from Fairy Fabrics the orange/yellow one is a hand dyed cotton outer AIO.

I'll also have a custom slot on offer, just pop into the Cloth Nappy Shop tomorrow and pop your name down, the name will be randomly drawn by a little person. You will be able to choose 2 custom nappies, totally your choice, price will be dependant on what you would like and I'll post them out free to the winner, with some extra goodies.

More of these to come soon :) I'm sorta addicted to making the ruffles, now just to think of something just as stunning for the boys :)
