A friend of mine gave this chocolate, I notice this product use cacao from peruvian jungle, the best off all is if you buy this product part of the money will be used for protect the Forests of San MArtin Region, the place where live this nice bear, oso de anteojos.

Una amiga me regaló este chocolate, y vi que este producto usa cacao de la amazonía peruana, lo mejor de todo es que al comprar este producto, parte del dinero ser{a usado para proteger los bosques de la Región SAn MArtín, el lugar donde vive este simpático osito, llamado el oso de anteojos.

Chifa

Chifa is the result of a mixture of food and Peruvian china ... the taste of the food china is adapted to the taste of Peru, is part of our cuisine. Peruvians call the Chifa china food restaurants and as a starter it's good a dish of "fried wantanes" with tamarind sauce (first pic).

Sweet and savory dishes are typical in second picture we have "chicken with peach." ¡Buen provecho!

El chifa es el resultado de la mezcla de la comida china y peruana... el sabor de la comida china está adaptada al paladar peruano, forma parte de nuestra gastronomía. Los peruanos llamamos Chifa a los restaurantes de comida china y siempre como aperitivo se pide "wantanes fritos" con salsa de tamarindo (primera foto).

Los platos dulces y salados son característicos, en la segunda foto tenemos "pollo con durazno". ¡Buen Provecho!

In this room, we'll meet the Trujillo National University principal and all the deans. This old house was owned by the Jesuits, it was a convent, now it's part of the university and it's used as a administrative center.

En este salón se reune el rector de la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo y todos los decanos. Esta casona antigua fue propiedad de los jesuitas, era un convento, ahora es parte de la universidad y es usada como local administrativo.

Cello's Night

Cello students from the "Cultural Association ARPEGIO" participated in a concert dedicated to his parents, as a part of the final class of half year. I liked the violoncello quartet, here they are in both pics, the first one, during his trial and second one, after the concert, along with their teacher, a young german volunteer.

Los alumnos de violoncello de la "Asociación Cultural ARPEGIO" participaron en un concierto dedicado a sus padres, como parte del cierre del curso de medio año. Me gustó mucho el cuarteto de violoncellos, aquí están ellos en ambas fotos, la primera durante su ensayo y la segunda después del concierto, junto a su profesor, un joven voluntario alemán.

This is the hall of the Museum where Cao is the Lady of Cao, old woman queen. This mysterious mummy with tatoos was found with ceremonial items including jewelry and weapons.

The Lady of Cao can't be seen directly, a series of mirrors reflect her to the public.

En esta sala del Museo Cao se encuentra la Señora de Cao, antigua mujer gobernante . Esta misteriosa momia tatuada fue hallada con una serie de objetos que incluye joyería y armas.

La Señora de Cao no puede ser vista directamente, un juego de espejos la reflejan para que público pueda observarla.

I know this is a too much meat!!!... but Pachamanca is a special and traditional dich, which have chiken, lamb, pig, cow, potate, corn, sweet potato and habas. It's a lot to one people, it's better for two, or maybe three people.

Sé que esto es mucha carne!!!... pero la Pachamanca es un plato especial y tradicional, el cual lleva pollo, cordero, cerdo, res, papa, choclo, camote y habas. Es demasiado para una sola persona, es mejor para dos, o quizás tres.

In peruvian coast people still practice the "cockfighting" on Sunday. I did not like much but it's part of the tradition, roosters fight each other at the start so that the plumage figures are spectacular, but seeing the roosters wounded isn't nice.

En la costa peruana aún se practica la "Pelea de gallos" los días domingos. No me gustó mucho pero es parte de la tradición, los gallos pelean entre sí, al inicio las figuras que forma el plumaje son espectaculares, pero ver a los gallos heridos no es nada bonito.

Many people prefer go to Huanchaco beach in summer, but for many others all the time is perfect to stay here, ot's the perfect place for surfing, walking, running, resting, eating fresh fish, fish and... playing to fish. I think the famous fish here (the easiest to fish) is "tramboyo".
Ir a Huanchaco puede significar para muchos ir en verano a tomar sol, pero para muchos otros, todo el año es el lugar perfecto para practicar surf, caminar, correr, descansar, comer pescado fresco, pescar y ...jugar a la pesca. Creo que el pez más conocido (o más fácil de pescar) es el "tramboyo".
