When I am camping I'm out to be in a natural setting and do not care to camp around grave markers. The cemetery is the appropriate place for these markers.

Thanks so much for this post. We just lost our beloved standard poodle, Miles, at age 14. We were so happy we got the chance to full-time with him in our bus for a year. He died while we were wintering in our rig. If there's a doggy heaven, it surely includes travel in various vehicles, so he's off to a great start.

Before we leave, I think we'll erect a marker. Thanks, again.

Our dog Buddy, a Springer Spaniel, loved to go in our motorhome. He would always be the first to jump in to go and get the choice seat for him. When he passed away, I had him cremated and spread some of his ashes in the campground that me and my wife frequent. The campground owner said he would be pleased if we did that after I had asked him if I could do that. So Buddy is constantly at the Blu Shastin Campground greeting us when we come in to there.
