Is Haifa Wahbi married?

Some media sources are saying that Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi has recently (march 2007) married Egyptian businessman Ahmad Abu Hashiemeh. There has been no public announcement, however, that we know of, by the parties themselves.

Abu Hashiemeh owns steel factories in Egypt and was reportedly seen with Haifa aboard the Blue Nile cruise ship. Mr. Abu Hashiemeh was married previously and has children by that marriage.

Meanwhile, Haifa, despite much success in her music career, is often known more for her image. She is frequently seen in racy outfits that are sometimes seen as scandalous in the more conservative, Arabic countries. In March of 2006 there was reportedly a video of Haifa's dress coming undone circulating around the web. However, her representatives denied that it happened and refused to comment, saying it wasn't worth worrying about.

Haifa Wahbi, or Haifa Wehbe, was ranked number 49 in the 2006 Edition of the "Top 99 Most Desirable Women" by the popular website AskMen.com. She was also included in People Magazine's 2006 "100 Most Beautiful People" list. And of course, it's easy to see why...
