The more guys we have competing for the starting spots in the rotation, the better. That said, I guess this guy looks like a somewhat decent pickup, considering who's available. We'll have to trust our scouting department on this on and having faith that Affeldt can be a starter again.<BR/><BR/><BR/>This kind of signing probably says a lot about the faith they have in Homer Bailey and Johnny Cueto for the long term.
