Microsoft Live Search is now Bing.com has released on 3rd June, 2009.

Bing includes a set of navigation and search tools called an Explorer Pane on the left side of the page that offers a feature called Web Groups, which organizes search results not only in the pane but also in the actual results generated on the page. It is based on the semantic technology from PowerSet which Microsoft purchased in 2008.

Microsoft also has added Related Searches and Quick Tabs features, which provide a table of contents for different categories of search results.

Next feature called Best Match surfaces what the engine considers the best result for a search query and calls it out for the user. Another feature called Deep Links gives people more insight into what resources a site offers.

Bing also offers what is called Quick Preview, which gives a brief preview of search results in a box that appears when someone 'mouses' over the search results link. The preview gives a snapshot of the information the link provides so people can decide whether they want to click on it.

Need of Quality Backlinks and Traffic

Question : I have exchanged my site links with 30 websites but not getting any traffic and also not getting any exposure in search engine rankings too. What should I do?

Answer : It totally depend either they really are quality links or not. The page you have linked with having some traffic or not? and the relevancy factor ofcourse. The links you are linked with are relevant with your online business theme otherwise it's just useless to link with non-relevant sites.

As per google webmaster guidelines also, Don't participate in link schemes designed to increase your site's ranking or PageRank. In particular, avoid links to web spammers or "bad neighborhoods" on the web, as your own ranking may be affected adversely by those links.

Trying hard to get through the Professional Exams in commerce stream like Chartered Accountancy, Company Secretary and Cost & Works Accountants? Results not behaving the way you want them to?

We all know very well that getting through the various levels of these courses offered by the respective institutes of ICAI, ICSI and ICWAI have always been a difficult task for all of us. The Question that arises - Is it really that challenging task or a tough task or is it BOTH tough and challenging?

We all try our best to prepare for the examinations be it for CPT/Foundation courses or for the Final levels of Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries, Cost and Works Accountants. It becomes even more difficult for students to come out confidently when the graduation classes & Articleships/Practical Trainings are going on parallel. Even when we know we are running short of time to do our studies for these professional courses we have no choice but to still manage to steal some time out for the coaching classes of various important subjects which has become of utmost importance in today’s competitive examination scenario.

We all more or less do all this for clearing our examinations. Have we ever thought that why it happens that only VERY FEW of us get through the exams in the term we expect us to clear ESPECIALLY when we all put the same amount of hard work and attend the same coaching classes?

Considering the above time crunch that we face with the on going articleship, coaching classes etc we end up postponing our self studies towards the end. Hence, we actually start preparing for the respective examination during our preparation leaves or when we are through with our coaching classes. Google's executive shifts to AOL

NEW YORK, Tim Armstrong, Google's president, advertising and commerce, North America and long time face of Google's ad business is soon going to adopt a new role of AOL’s chief executive.

Armstrong has been named the new chairman and CEO of AOL. Current chairman and CEO Randy Falco and president, COO Ron Grant are both on their way out.

This has fueled the rumors regarding the separation of AOL from the parent Time Warner Inc. The idea of an independent AOL has been supported by Google also for some time now.

AOL was almost dead...may be Tim will save it now.

Google to Show Behavioral Ads Soon

Google announced that they will start showing ads based on the sites we visit, searches we make etc. They will start that in a few weeks.

It has launched a system that will serve up ads to web users based on their previous online activities. The search giant is offering users the chance to see and edit their profiles and it will also offer them the choice to opt out of the service. If users like swimming they will get ads about swimming (what about adult thoughts??)

But privacy campaigners are outraged by the move, with Privacy International calling for a parliamentary enquiry.

Today with the help of some of my friends and members in the Webmaster forum WebCosmoForum, I have finally removed the blogger's bar which usually appears in the top of the free blogger (blogspot) blog.

Now, You can also rid of this blogger bar come across on the top of your blog, just follow these steps -
1. Log in to blogger account,

2. Then, go to your Dashboard, select Layout option. This will take you to the Template tab. Click Edit HTML. Under the Edit Template section you will see you blog's HTML.

3. paste this following CSS definition in the top of the template code:

#navbar-iframe {
display: none !important;
}

And that's all, it will not show to your blog then.
