I do not know where to begin so I am just going to pour out my heart on this one and whoever cares, cares and support my quick rant on MJ the GREAT.

Michael Jackson, has touched so many lives in the greater part of the the last 3 decades. Although many have lost a taste for the King of Pop due to the defamatory nature of the press, I kept a place for his music that no one can ever wipe away from my life.

MJ is the supreme example of and artist who it dedicated to his music and to his fans. When I first heard Thriller I was around 4 years old going on 5, all I can remember is that this guy was awesome. I was young, I was impressionable, and it hit me the minute I saw the video. To be quite clear, there was no other artist that I can recall being a fan of at the time and for a long time. MJ was it and he provided that world that all kids live in. That world where anything is possible. If you listen to his lyrics and his cadence, you are immediately hypnotized and drawn in by a seemingly effortless style of delivery.

MJ was gifted and for sure the one to beat on the world stage of Music. He has conquered the globe, achieving a world power the politicians and Monarchs before him have tried and failed. The pure essence is simple, MJ controlled the world for a short time, he was a world King. He may have not made and decisions as to what we will do with our lives, but if you listen to his music he had an opinion on what we should do with our thoughts.

From Man in the Mirror, to Thriller, Billie Jean, Bad, PYT, the list goes on. He has inspired, broken down barriers of racial stress, and created and image that many till this day, who hunger for attention and power, could command.

I write this because he will always be remembered and I wish the best for his Children, and the entire Jackson Family. There is not much more that I can say. MJ You are the Truth and these are my words to you.

If there is a place that you can touch the world from where you are. Find the true souls and watch over them. edging them to work hard at their crafts, so that we can once again get the opportunity to have an artist as dedicated and skillful as you are.

For his 39 years of hard work and extreme representation of his talent. We should give him this time to rest and remembered why we love him and why he made us dance.

As interested as the rest of the world is, in the United States and our state of grace. There is so much going on outside of our borders that has the attention of the remaining known world. With turmoil in African countries, Middle Easter Countries, Asian Countries, and Latin American Countries. The EU is beginning to show its trouble and shame as well. The majority of us do not realize to what extent the globe is feeling the pinching crackdown on cracked policies across the globe.

I think we are not in a season of cleansing. Humanity is working on clearing out the debris of centuries of hatred. However the task will not be easy, nor will it come fast. However the process has begun. For those of us who care that the world unites, have and opportunity to take things to the next level. Society requires that we all play our roles in this big play, not a moment can be riddle with mistake and if we falter then we ad lib and get back on track. However we must be prepared. Prepared to make the recovery, and keep the show going.

Do not take my words lightly. That which I speak of it important to the world. In order for humanity to survive, we must be of one body. How long will we allow our minor differences to capture our hearts in such a negative way? When is enough is enough? It is come to the point that we have much bigger issues at hand. The globe is suffering while we are bickering.

With the rate of the deterioration of this planet is moving at. There will be nothing left to fight over. So why are we wasting time and resources on hatred and policy? The thinking power should be used for something far greater than ourselves, it should be done for our children. Not for our children thoughts, in who is better because of their race. But for them to have a place to live in and play in one hundred years from today.

Are you people thinking out there. Or are you spending your time with old views and concepts to that you can get your flaccid phallics the joy and pleasure of dominating another man and his people. That is sick. Is not the entire point of civilization for civil manner? Did I miss something? Humanity the glass is empty it neither half full or empty. There is nothing in it any longer. After the apple, and/or Pandora's peek into the box, we have been on a downward spiral ever since.

Personally I am sick and tired of the bull shit. So this is my brief opinion about the BNP and parties like them.

Just when you think it is OK...Someone comes along and proves that there is much more work to do. I expect these words to come from someone as uneducated about 'all life' as Newt Gingrich , but Jon Voight the father of Angelina Jolie. I now know why she does not speak to him now, if this is any indication into the window of her childhood.

I once respected him and thought Angelina mad, to not communicate with her father. Now I see there may be a chink in his otherwise clean image. It may have been his role in Rosewood that led me to believe he was cool. So is he still cool? I don't know for sure what that question will reveal, but if these thoughts here are any indication that this man has some deeply rooted dislike for a man that has only worked for a little over 100 days, then we are about to see much more.

Although I was classically trained in ballet. Yes I was! I always loved Hip Hop dance styles and what they bring to the table. Many may attempt to put the styles into a box. However just like the music there are many forms of Hip Hop dance. This is something that the show has placed in the spotlight.

I want to see an even display, maybe even some awesome fusion of modern, classical, salsa, bachata, ballet, breaking and so on. I can not wait to see what that kid does. Yeah that black kid, that looks like he can take a hit from a truck and walk off. Brandon Bryant, is a beast. Simple and plain. I think he will bring something this year that show is known for. Heat!

I really do not want to destroy you weekend here. But this video has enraged my spirit. This video is pure evidence along with all of the other so called opinions, out in the news today. That there are some people that do have the Patience of light. The man has been in office less than 7 months and the are citing change. Although the kids are young I want to point out that they are still people, and people at any age can influence are large enough group. In this case, are they a symbol of what's to come? Are the representative of your White JEWS? I don't know but I guess you will let the video serve as a warning.

This is no different than the KKK and NEO NAZI camps here in the states. There are so many things wrong with the content of this video. The questions being posed are not sensible, rationale, or warranted. What these questions are, is impatience, and the hate behind it has been there for so long before Obama. They these kids can not see past their own noses or get their heads out of their asses.

When it comes to owning something of apparent value, It is always important to get a second opinion. Also you should get a second opinion in your spending habits also. When you strike it rich all of a sudden, you should not go our and purchase your first Mansion until you have had a long standing career. If you are to do so, then you should at least take some real time before laying out the cash to own it.

I know when you come from nothing anything looks good with grass and a lack of visual neighbors. Yes you may have checked off all of this things to do on your list, get the house inspected, make sure it can fit a club, studio, and stripper pole. But you must keep in mind that it is important to get a second opinion on the structure as well, maybe a third and fourth.

This is in know way a jab at 50. He purchased the house because he wanted it and you can not blame him. However all of you about to strike it rich. Keep in mind that you should always triple check everything you are about to buy. You do not want your hard wished and earned dollars to go down the drain. Now do you?

I started my morning out just like every other person today that was black and had a chance to catch the news this morning before starting in on the days work.

This liar who decided to blame random black men for her lack in life was captured. It is because of people like this African Americans, till this day have to deal with the BS in this country. It is hard to trust people across the tracks when you have women like this who will run around and do God knows what with their lives and when things get rough find some unsuspecting black person to take the fall. In this case the fall guys did not exist(Unless you count every black man in America then you have many fall guys). It is thinking like this, that has brought about the over population of the jails in this country, and a strong reason why that population is predominantly black.

However there is some form of vindication to see that for once the lie did not spread to long and that their were no African American Males Harmed due to a lie.

I am done with my rant here is a snippet of the story:

This whole ordeal began around 1:50 p.m. Tuesday when Sweeten called 911 to say she had been forced into the trunk of a black Cadillac at the intersection of Street Road and Central Avenue in Upper Southampton Township, Bucks County. She went on to tell the operator that she had been in an accident and that two black men in the other car then abducted her along with her young daughter.

Police found Sweeten’s abandoned SUV early Wednesday morning at 15th and Chestnut Streets in Center City Philadelphia. Cracks in her story started to appear after it was revealed that the Sweeten’s GMC Yukon Denali had a parking ticket on it with a time stamp of 2:20 p.m. Tuesday. That 30 minute window from when she told police she was abducted and when the ticket was issued would be an incredibly tight time frame to get from the suburban Bucks County town to the heart of Philadelphia.

Furthermore, police say they traced Sweeten’s first 911 call to a cell phone tower near the location where the SUV was found, indicating it may have been there the entire time. Additionally, investigators say Sweeten gave conflicting stories about where her daughter was; whether she was with her in the trunk of the Cadillac or taken along with her SUV. On Wednesday, police recovered a surveillance video from a restaurant nearby where the SUV was found. However, they have not said what, if anything, was on the tape.

Larry Sweeten says that he is just as much in the dark about this ordeal as everyone else. “I think I’m in a dream. This has taken me by such a surprise. I just want her to know she has tons of support, and whatever it is we can work through it.”

“I’m begging you, please come home,” Sweeten said, addressing his wife. “We have a new daughter, she needs you,” he said, referring to their 8-month-old baby.
38-year-old Bonnie Sweeten is jailed in Florida, awaiting a trip back to Bucks County to face criminal charges.

Sweeten’s 9-year-old daughter, Julia, is safe and sound. Julia’s father, Sweeten’s ex-husband, will be boarding a 10:15 a.m. flight bound for Orlando where he will be reunited with his daughter.

In the meantime we are learning more details about Bonnie Sweeten and why she may have fled.

Late Class ::: Rihanna Heats up daily

There are many stars on that walk of fame and I think it that it has room for one more. Rihanna simply put, once she proves that she can grow in all directions with her music, then taking it up a notch with experimentation, she will be unstoppable. On top of that she is working with a Coach in NY to cultivate her acting chops. That will be something that I will keep my eye on, for sure.

But please tell me how sweet it is to look at her in this video. When she gets a bit more cultivated she will have more depth to her character. I look forward to her bringing that to the big screen and her music.

HIP HOP - PIP POP :::: What Is The Next Stage?

As of late I have been having a rough time accepting a few things in the world of entertainment. Specifically of the Hip Hop Variety. I am a well educated person of the streets, or so I like to think. Many things capture my attention these days when it comes to the music genre.

There are many Hip Hop artist out now. Whether it is by major label or they are pressing their independent works or having a mix tape flood their local scene. I have been let down time after time with the nonsense that is being called rap. I am cool with gangsta rap, I am cool with Back pack and I am cool with bubble gum. So my argument does not concern the genre as much as it does the quality.

What happened to the lyrics? In the past 10 years I have witnessed the quality fall short of spectacular. I no longer see the art form growing as it should. What happened to the word play? Every thing seem simple and contrite as all possible. The vibe is gone.

Rappers today are trying way to hard to have a persona and are forgetting about the lyrics. The only thing that keeps me listening is the beats. The production is way up, the lyrical content, you guessed it..way down. I prefer watching American idol two days in a row before buying another rap album.

I did not write this to name any names. However I hope that those who do come across this that have a career or plan on having one. To take the time out to rethink their approach. Don't let the record company sway you in to thinking without a brain, it is impossible to do. The end result is no thought equals no lyrics. It is that simple.

The record companies have drain the art out of Hip Hop. It is all sales now. Hip Hop is just PIP POP. Pop music, that claims it is real over heavy baselines. Mix tape rappers who consider themselves the toughest on their blocks may be the toughest on their block, but what about the world. You can not and will not run it all. Matter of fact, it is better to drop art, tell us what really going on in your mind and souls. I have heard a million and one song this years that consist of how many guns, women, dollars, and cars you have. I think it is time for something new.

Some may hate Mister Dress code for stepping out or MR. Team owner for stepping off and on the stage. You cant blame them or be mad at the growth in these individuals. The problems with the Hip Hop community stem from the problems in the hood. So of course the hood will buy anything that sounds tough, if they don't have any other options. Give the world variety and it will eventually take it as it is.

So I dare the next decade of Hip Hop to be better. You have the year 2010 to begin the work, and to start a new era. This is a six month heads up. The world expects more and nothing less.

What is the next stage? No I am not saying for everyone to get on the vocoder or to make an EMO RAP Album, but I am saying take a cue from those who have taken the risk. Hip Hop is about fusion of the world around it. The problem is that it has gotten to cocky with itself and stop growing in the direction it began growing towards . Is it now too old to change its ways? Are you the next act to bring the change? Look around you, that is where Hip Hop is.

Here at the JRU ( I will often call it the Univeristy), I must do every thing to offer a wide variety of topics. My job is to give you a sense of the universal mind set that I have as a person. In the past I was not too sure what I wanted to offer. All I wanted to do was get to writing. So I have been quite scattered. I have had some hits, and many misses. Now that I know what people appreciates and look for in what I do. I can not only be myself, I can expand in many areas as I wish.

It is time to create the sections that will paint the picture of who I am and what I pay attention to. From Art, to reality, literature,

Since I am not longer stuck as a person. I want nothing more than to share with the world what I am. This is my 15, minutes, hours, years, decades (I am aiming for).

I do not know any of you our there, however I hope that in time around, I get to know you guys as you follow my journey. JRU is all about my universal thoughts. I will no longer focus on one theme, idea, or area of interest. This blog will be bits and pieces of what I see as the world around me-us.

Nothing surprises me any longer. It seems that as time goes on, the past is repeating itself in some way. Many cities would like to paint the picture that it is free of certain images and actualities. In the case of Winston-Salem, N.C., it is true, they are what they say they are. Crime is not a big issue there apparently, because they have not one real weapon in town.

Imagine being able to eat the weapon that you used to rob with. This is something that may become an epidemic as the criminals become more desperate to make ends meet. Next you are going to hear stories about banks being robed with Cucumbers and plantain.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Authorities say a North Carolina teen who was thwarted as he tried to rob a store with a banana ate it before they could arrive.
Winston-Salem authorities say 17-year-old John Szwalla held the banana under his shirt when he entered the store Thursday, saying he had a gun and demanded money.
Owner Bobby Ray Mabe says he and a customer jumped Szwalla, holding him until deputies arrived. While they waited, Mabe says the teen ate the banana.

It seems many folk on top of capital hill are not the pleased with Wanda Sykes. I do not know why. As far as I am concerned she called it like it is. I can agree, maybe it was not the place and time to speak ones strongest views in a comedic platform, but let be honest with who Rush Limbaugh truly is.

I was not shocked when I heard that Rush said he wanted Obama to fail, but I sure was appalled. Here is Wanda Sykes response to such a statement made by Rush.

"So you’re saying, 'I hope America fails.' You’re like, 'I don’t care about people losing their homes, their jobs or our soldiers in Iraq.' He just wants our country to fail."

As far as I am concerned that is what it balls down to. I am sick of these power hungry politicians and the in pocket political pundits who get on TV and start planning the failure of a leader before he gets off the porter pot. Let be honest with this America, it is important that we support those in power with all that we have. President Obama asked for our help in is acceptance speech, and we were happy American showed growth as nation. However we have dudes running around by the name of Rush Limbaugh who makes his money running his mouth about anything that comes to mind, that contains venom, and can scar the person of topic in some way.

Wanda is a funny person and the truth be told you can find much fact in that which you hear come from her mouth. Although this part right here sounds way off, think about where she is going with this, pick it apart in the most profound way, you will see that this is poetry with a laugh track.

This weekend is one filled with surprises. I am sure we all have our share of surprises in our lives that cause us to sit back hours later and ask ourselves one simple questions. WTF? I need not spell it out, its meaning is universal, it desire to understand resonates with all people, not matter their walk of life.

So this lead me to ask Rihanna the questions I so often ask myself? WTF? But then it led me to wonder is this really Rihanna. If so I am pleased, but at the same time disappointed the princess is not vulnerable to much more scrutiny.

Living In A Cave

It seems that I do not know anything else but my own thoughts. I can not seem to see past it. With my lady driving me crazy and work taking from me my soul. I am losing the grip on my persona. This is something that I can not allow to happen.

So as I am driving on my way home, I decided for once to turn on the lame ass choices we have for Phoenix, Arizona radio stations.

I am flying down the I-10, and a song catches my attention. As it is pulling me out of my funk, from a long day of politics and Bull Shit. I realize that there is a song that is taking me beyond where I want to be, at that very moment. However, it will not let go of me. So I turn the volume up higher.

I want to know who that is, so I prop my I phone up to the stereo. It showed me who it was an artist by the name of Cudi. Kid Cudi to be exact. I heard the name before, but I did not pay it any attention. Since I have been a little less impressed with the options that we have in Hip Hop. However this one song has allowed me back in, more so inviting me back in. Telling me that I can not stray far without suffering the pain of loss.

As it is stated in the title I have been living in a cave, a deep state of thoughts that did not allow me any social ability. Also it has caused me to drop in and out of this Blog with no respect to the readers that actually stopped in to show love from time to time.

The song that was playing is called 'Day and Night'. I can not believe that there is a song that was written and fills the exact level of thoughts that I contained in my mind. Although I am not a stoner or a smoker of any kind or a loner. This song has hit the spot, like a meal after a long journey on foot. You guys out there know what I am talking about. Act as if you do not.

Not to give a short Memoir. That is not what I am here for. I am here to give you this video. I am sure that you have heard it before. That song is about us the people that struggle. If you find your self in a cave. Listen to this song and realize that you are not alone and keep it moving.

So in saying all of that. I just want to leave you with the video and the proclamation that I think:

Jamie Foxx is a soloist in many ways

It is now noted that Jamie Foxx needed to see a Mental doc, to get his marbals back in order. The role for him was very draining and causing the fragility of his mind to sucumb to malfunction.

Here's a brief report on the matter:

JAMIE FOXX almost walked away from his new movie about a schizophrenic musician, because the role was so gruelling it left him needing therapy.
The Oscar winner struggled to make the transition from his real personality to that of homeless cello prodigy Nathanial Ayers in The Soloist - and he admits the role pushed him to his limit.
Foxx says, “It was something that I enjoyed, but it shredded me. I went to places that I never thought I would ever go. I just remember being in mybathroom broke (sic) down, talking to my manager like, ‘I don’t know if I’ll be able to finish this.’
“You had to lose your mind every day you’re on set, and sometimes you didn’t have enough time to get your mind back before the weekend.”
Foxx’s manager was so concerned, he even sent the star to a psychiatrist.
The actor adds, “(He told me), ‘Just so you’ll have a way to get out of your head.’”
And Foxx now regularly uses a therapist during movie projects, explaining, “I had no idea that the mind could be that fragile.”

I guess when you are into your job the affect is that it takes you with it.
