Happy June, everyone! Just two more weeks and my boys will be out of school for the summer. We have lots of fun activities planned and of course I'm already making a mental list of all the photos I need to take for all those summertime layouts. Spending more time outside means less time for me to scrap but using Val's sketches are a great way to scrap those amazing summer photos fast and easy. Gearing up for our Anniversary!

Got Sketch is celebrating its 2nd year in just a couple more days!
We've got awesome surprises planned every week for our blog visitors -- Surprises you won't want to miss!

For 4 weeks in April, we will have weekly sketches and contributions from known paper-crafting designers in the industry, who I bet are some of your favorites! Join us every Wednesday to see who they are & what they do with the sketches. Because I am also a card-maker, we are thrilled to add some card sketches in the mix, too!

And if that isn't enough, we will also have weekly challenges and prizes.
For 4 weeks, there will be individual challenges based on the current sketches. Random winners will be chosen. There will also be surprise prizes at the end of the month. So, be sure to participate.

We'll share the details to that on Wednesday, April 1, when we kick off with the first of the anniversary sketches!

To join in the challenges, you will need to be a member of the Got Sketch Gallery to be able to upload your work. If you aren't already a member, be sure to join.

Got Sketch 103: Final Week

Wow, where did the time go?

We are on our fourth week!

We've already released 7 sketches, several tips, and 1 video mini lesson! It wouldn't be complete without a few bonus patterns, too.

The first video lesson is a "hoot." {that was a hint. ;P}

Janna is releasing our second video lesson on Tuesday morning! Not one to miss.

With hundreds of layouts in the gallery, everyone is scrappin' and we are so proud!

The doors officially open for Got Sketch 103 today! We are really excited to embark on another fabulous Got Sketch experience and hope that you are too. It's never too late to sign up so if you're still not sure go on and give it a try we know you'll have a blast! Find all the information you need regarding Got Sketch 103 here. Please note that all members who have pre-registered for Got Sketch 103 will be approved today. Anyone who signs up after today will be approved within 24 hours. We're back! We hope everyone had a happy and safe New Year! We are ready to kick off 2009 in a big way on the Got Sketch? blog but first I have just a few announcements.

I've mentioned it before on the blog but I just want to say it again - Val and Janna have begun a brand new crafty adventure in 2009 with the introduction of Got Crafts? If you are a lover of all things crafty (and come on now, who isn't?!?) then you will want to run, not walk, your way over to the Got Crafts? website to check it all out. There are quite a few projects and classes available for immediate download.

In addition, within the next week, we will also be sharing information regarding the next installment of the popular Got Sketch class series, Got Sketch 103. GS101 & GS102 Comeback!

Due to a popular demand, we've decided to make our popular Got Sketch 101 & 102 classes available for those who missed the first go-around of the workshop series. While the original classes were interactive with teacher and student participation, prizes, forums and a gallery, these offerings will be more of a print-and-go format for your convenience. As usual, there's no homework, classes are self-paced and EVERYBODY gets an A+! We are offering all of the complete and original class content in an easy-to-navigate online classroom.

Hi Everyone! Just wanted to let you all know that we'll be taking a short break from posting sketches on the Got Sketch? blog for the month of December as we focus on getting ready for the holidays and spending time with our families and friends. We'll of course be back in January with lots of new sketches to help you ring in the New Year and get you scrapping in style!

In the meantime I did want to mention that while the last day of Got Sketch Mini is "officially" today the classroom will still be open for another week so it is still not too late to sign up and see what all the buzz is about. You will still have access to all of our amazing sketches and downloadable pdfs. If you've never taken an online class with Valerie and Janna now is definitely the time to give it a whirl.
