In fact it was the only type of mattress available to the average income group earlier. Memory foam mattresses have been around for the last 20 years, but have only become affordable in the last 10 years.

The cost of a spring mattress is still much lower than a memory foam mattress. Spring mattresses are durable but quite firm. Memory foam mattresses become flexible with body heat and your body receives support as you get cradled in. Nevertheless, memory foam should give your body a firm feeling because your body weight gets evenly distributed.

A good mattress should not only distribute your body weight evenly but give you comfort and pain relief. That is what a good quality memory foam mattress does. It helps to reduce the pressure points to a great extent, which leads to no tossing and turning at night and in turn that leads to a good night’s sleep. A spring mattress on the other hand does not give any pressure point relief. All the springs push against your body with equal force, but the body in turn cannot push evenly. Proper support does not occur and the result is poor blood circulation and aches and joint pain.

It is important to maintain spring mattresses, as they begin to sag after about two years. They offer a maximum 10 year warranty. The springs offer no support for back or spinal alignment. No maintenance is required for memory foam mattresses, but if the memory foam is of a poor quality, it takes longer to conform to your body and recover. Sometimes new memory foam mattresses have an unpleasant smell.

The basic difference between a spring mattress and a memory foam mattress is the difference in total body support. Temperature sensitivity is another difference. A memory foam mattress has the ability to respond to different temperatures. This means that it remains firm or it becomes soft according to the temperature of your body, which it can sense. It then absorbs your heat and softens up and you are left with a warm cozy feeling. A spring mattress cannot react to your body heat at all.

The comfort level on a memory foam mattress is very high. When you sit or sleep on a memory foam mattress, the memory foam simply ‘melts’ under you and you enjoy long-term balanced support and comfort. Coil spring mattresses are made from coils and they are not always accommodating to your body when you lie down.

Isn’t it better to invest your money in a quality mattress which provides you with sound sleep and no maintenance for at least 10 years? An average person spends 30 % of his life sleeping, and hence it is important to use a healthy and accurate mattress. The best support and comfort while sleeping is important for people of all ages, whether they are babies, young children, adults or the elderly. Almost all Internet Retailers say they are safe & hacker proof. But are they? You visit a site and see a security seal and feel at easy. The truth is almost any web site can purchase a security seal for about $200.00 a year. The site is not checked daily as you may think. The fact is the $200.00 seal can be issued within 10 minutes to the site owner then posted on their site.

Some of the things I do when making a purchase on the Internet is to click the certificate seal and what type of certificate they use. I also have my Internet browser set to inform me of pages which are not secure when entering information. If my browser pops up and says " This page contains both secure and nonsecure items" and they are looking for personal information I am out of there. Usually this happens on a web page which you are asked to fill out a form or prior to a purchase. All Internet browsers today will show a padlock either on the top of the page or on the bottom. If you don't see the padlock do not enter any personal information, as it may end up in the wrong hands.

All Memory Foam Mattress has taken away the worry with purchasing online. For starters
our store is hosted by Yahoo Stores. Yahoo Stores provide their own 128 bit security during the entire check out process, along with a strong policy regarding personal information. Your purchase with us remains secure during the entire process including the "Print Confirmation" page. You are then E-mailed a copy of your order without showing any credit card account information.

For added security we use McAfee® Hacker Safe Security. Not a cheap seal sitting on our site, but a security system which checks our site daily for potential hackers. Research indicates sites remotely scanned for known vulnerabilities on a daily basis, such as those earning McAfee Secure certification, can prevent over 99% of hacker crime. Still we wanted more so we had our domain certified and verified as a legally registered domain. We are not affiliated with any other web site nor are we owned by any other web site.

Our merchant bank is Chase Merchant Services. Having a stable bank handling our customers transactions just made sense. All Memory Foam Mattress has worked hard to provide our customers with a safe and secure site to make a purchase.

http://www.allmemoryfoam.com
Roberthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08069283240393669763sales@allmemoryfoam.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3514921808012559737.post-35880057429350012008-07-16T14:46:00.004-04:002008-07-16T18:42:07.288-04:00Covered Memory Foam Mattress Topper

All Memory Foam Mattress has added a new mattress topper to our selection of Memory Foam Toppers. The Body Form Covered Memory Foam Topper We are excited about this new topper for several reasons. Like all of our toppers it's made in the USA and has a unique cover you won't find with other covered toppers.

It has a Micro-Care® cover this fabric utilizes three layers of material. A cotton top layer is provided to absorb moisture. The second layer of nylon holds the moisture and removes it from the top cotton layer. The third, lower layer prevents the moisture from going into the mattress.

When a person gets up in the morning, the moisture trapped in the second layer is wicked away by the cotton layer. Evaporation from the cotton layer completely eliminates moisture from the fabric. The third layer also includes a anti-micro-bacterial additive. This provides a series of features; it offers an extensive protection against a wide range of fungi and bacteria, reduction of dust mites reproduction, washable at 140 degrees Fahrenheit, no use of toxic or dangerous substances, and no impregnation of chemicals.

We are confident our customers will enjoy both the feel and comfort in our 4lb density Body Foam Mattress Topper. All of our mattress toppers are either 4lb density or 5lb density as we refuse to market 3 lb density Memory Foam Toppers. A 3 lb topper is 25% less dense, which relates to 25% less support and comfort. The fact is 3 lb density memory foam is a cheap foam and All Memory Foam Mattress will not sell it to our customers.

http://www.allmemoryfoam.com
Roberthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08069283240393669763sales@allmemoryfoam.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3514921808012559737.post-52860458402182490202008-07-09T08:14:00.007-04:002008-07-09T09:08:51.538-04:00Leggett & Platt Adjustable Beds All Memory Foam Mattress is pleased to be the only online retailer, with the lowest prices on the two most popular adjustable adjustable beds made by Leggett & Platt. These models are the S-Cape adjustable bed and the ProMotion adjustable bed.

We did our research by checking online retailers who sell Leggett & Platt adjustable beds, and to no surprize we beat them all on both Leggett & Platt models. On average we were between $200.00 to $500.00 on the S-Cape models, and between $100.00 to $300.00 lower of the ProMotion Adjustable bed.

Our research included online retailers and online shopping sites such as Nextag, BizRate, Shopping.Com , etc. We did come upon some false advertising on a few shopping sites. One retailer falsely advertised the ProMotion Queen adjustable bed for only $900.00. Upon further checking we find out the price advertised is not for the Queen ProMotion, but their Twin XL. The Buy now was disabled as well.

All Memory Foam Mattress lists all of the Leggett & Platt Adjustable Beds and the real prices for each model, which includes Free Shipping within the 48 States. Our low prices speak for themselves as we do not pressure customers to call for a price and try to up sale them. Internet customers are smart and they do the research and know what they want. We make that process easy for them by not hiding prices and by offering the lowest prices on the Internet. Now to research them on the Internet. So Many companies selling them, so many sales going on.

Since we sell Memory Foam Mattresses and Adjustable Beds, we did our own research. The lowest priced Memory Foam Mattresses are imported from China. The problems being low labor costs, no regulations on chemical use, and memory foam being compacted for months during shipment.

Next we looked at "sales" being offered. We've been checking the same sites for the last 2 years. Amazingly we found several sites with the same discount listed month after month after month. Such as "Fall Sale Save $299.00 on every mattress", "Christmas Sale Save $299.00 on every mattress", "Presidents Day Sale", "Spring Sale", "Memorial Day Sale", Fathers Day Sale, and on and on. Are you saving $299.00? Of course not, the price never changes and it's really never on sale. The same sites have "Free Shipping" for a limited time. They even go as far as showing a shipping price with a line drawn through it. Once again this limited time offer never ends.

The reason is simple they want you to think you are saving money and now is the time to act. The consumer thinks they are saving $299.00 on a mattress and up to $199.00 on shipping. The sad part is they haven't saved a dime.

We are All Memory Foam Mattress, and when we have a sale it's a real sale, which will expire. If you purchase from us and the item goes on sale within 30 days, we will refund you the difference. We have Free Shipping 365 days a year.

We sell only American Made Memory Foam Mattresses, Memory Foam Toppers, Memory Foam Pillows, and American Made Leggett & Platt adjustable beds.

We support Our Troops and offer free APO shipping on our Memory Foam Toppers, plus an extra 5% discount.

Our entire line of products with prices are listed on our site. No gimmicks, no phony sales, just quality products at a discount price.

If you are in the market for a Memory Foam Mattress, please visit our site.

http://www.allmemoryfoam.com
Roberthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08069283240393669763sales@allmemoryfoam.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3514921808012559737.post-70460180597546437272008-03-21T21:09:00.004-04:002008-03-22T20:10:47.277-04:00Memory Foam Beds On Sale
All Memory Foam Beds are on Sale until April 6, 2008. The main reason is that a stain means moisture has seeped into your mattress. If it is a spring mattress rust can form and break down the spring system. If you mattress is a memory foam or latex mattress the foam can break down as well. Using liquid cleaners or worse using a steam cleaner only makes the situation worse. Why anyone would suggest steam cleaning is beyond me. Putting more water into your mattress is what you want to avoid.

To protect your spring mattress and memory foam mattress warranty use a mattress pad which is designed to stop spills and stains from entering your mattress. You have invested a lot of money in a new mattress, so why not invest a few dollars more and purchase a good mattress cover. We highly recommend the Protect A Bed brand as it comes with a 10 year replacement warranty, plus it protects your mattress for 10 years.
http://www.allmemoryfoam.com
Roberthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08069283240393669763sales@allmemoryfoam.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3514921808012559737.post-22789309073888029432008-01-21T17:17:00.000-05:002008-01-21T18:06:12.437-05:00Dust Mites

Dust Mites and Memory Foam Mattresses

Did you know dust mites do not like living in memory foam? To the long list of Chinese product problems apparently one more should be added: Mattresses.
An Associated Press story earlier this month said that a chain of Dutch- based bedding stores was recalling more than 1,300 Chinese-made foam mattresses “amid fears they were sprayed with toxic insecticide.”

The story said the retailer announced the recall after tests on a container holding more than 700 mattresses found they contained poison, possibly as a result of being sprayed to kill insects. The exact nature of the poison has yet to be determined, the story said.

Now it is important to note that this story says nothing about possibly toxic mattresses being shipped from China to the United States. I have yet to hear anyone state, definitively, that such mattresses have been shipped to the U.S.
But that hasn’t stopped the critics from sounding the alarm. “I am sending this to you so that you are aware,” one U.S. bedding executive said to me, forwarding news of the Dutch company’s findings. “If you do anything with it PLEASE do not reference me or (name of company withheld) as a source. Very interesting…..lead paint, dog food, now mattresses.”

Said another U.S. bedding exec: “This looks like a really big story.”
My thought: It could be, but it isn’t yet. But, having said that, I agree it is certainly bad news in general for those who import Chinese mattresses to the U.S. The product recall news out of China lately has been grim. “Dangerous products” was among the catalog of problems cited in a cover story by Business Week last month. “Can China Be Fixed?” was the headline of that story.

The bad news from China hasn’t yet affected importers of Chinese beds, some leading importers recently told me. But one said that could change if the drumbeat of bad news continues. And now that scary story out of the Netherlands.

One bad shipment of Chinese mattresses sent to the Netherlands doesn’t constitute an indictment of the entire Chinese bedding industry. Let’s keep this story in perspective. But it is more unwelcome news for a country getting more than its share of it these days.
http://www.allmemoryfoam.com
Roberthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08069283240393669763sales@allmemoryfoam.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3514921808012559737.post-35761250903487396642007-09-18T20:30:00.000-04:002007-10-05T21:16:54.714-04:00Why your next Mattress should be made from Bayer Foam

All Memory Foam Mattress LLC is proud to be one of the few internet companies to market our own memory foam mattresses using Bayer® Softcel™ Memory Foam and Bayer® Ultracel™ U3000 polyurethane foam.

Bayer® Softcel™ Memory Foam

As you know Bayer has been in business for many years. The information below was taken directly from the
Mattress Regulations Web site.

Q: I know that my mattress meets the new fire standard, but are the chemicals
safe?

A: In research conducted by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), they
concluded that a number of commercially available flame retardant materials that
can be used to meet the new standard “are not likely to
present a hazard to consumers, workers, or the environment.”

In drafting the new open-flame mattress standard, CPSC researched the
potential chronic health risks for a variety of inherently flame resistant
materials and flame resistant chemicals that are available to meet the new
standard. These include several materials that the public has used safely in
other consumer products for decades1.

For more details on the CPSC’s flame resistant chemical safety analysis,
read the notice that the CPSC published in the Federal Register on March 15,
2006 analyzing the entire standard.

Q: Will any of the flame resistant chemicals that the CPSC examined increase the
risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS)?

A: No. The CPSC has concluded that none of the flame resistant materials it
researched will contribute to SIDS. In fact, the CPSC cited a four-year study
conducted in the United Kingdom and reviewed by a number of expert panels in the
UK and the U.S., in which the expert panels concluded that there is "no
credible evidence" that any of the flame resistant chemicals included in
the CPSC's review contribute to SIDS.

Q: Will the flame retardant materials aggravate allergies or asthma in
chemically-sensitive people?

A: The CPSC has concluded that there is no evidence to suggest that exposure to
flame retardant chemicals used in some mattress components would contribute to
or exacerbate allergies, asthma or multiple chemical-sensitivity in consumers.

The CPSC found that the materials and chemicals under consideration for use
in mattresses to meet the new flammability standard are generally non-volatile,
are not associated with fragrances or odors, and are not derived from biological
materials.

Concerned consumers will be further reassured by the fact that the CPSC noted
that in most cases, most flame resistant materials are used
within the mattress itself The CPSC stated that by using the materials either
within the mattress or in a manner such that the chemicals are bonded to the
materials in an effective manner, consumer exposure to the materials and any
attendant risk to such exposure would be minimized.

Q: Will the mattress industry need to use mattress foam that contains either
chlorinated or brominated fire retardant chemicals, the use of which a number of
states either have banned or are considering banning?

A: No. To meet the new standard, U.S. mattress producers are using a number of
materials technologies that do not involve the use of flame resistant-treated
foam.

Furthermore, as a practical matter, the penta version of a group of
brominated fire retardants called polybrominated diphenyl ethers (or PBDEs) is
no longer used to treat any foams made in the United States because U.S.
production of penta ended prior to January 2005.

Q: How will mattress manufacturers change their products to comply with the new
standard?

A: A common technique used by most mattress producers today to meet the new
standard is to enclose the cushioning material within a mattress with a barrier
fabric that blocks either heat, oxygen or both from reaching the cushioning
material. These fabrics may be woven, knit or non-woven products. Mattress
producers usually sew the barrier fabric into the mattress between the ticking
cover and the interior cushioning material.

Q: Why is this new mattress standard necessary?

A: The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission estimates that the new standard
may eliminate up to 75 percent of the 330 deaths and 1,680 injuries that occur
annually from mattress fires.

Q: How will these new compliant mattresses improve product safety?

A: Many people don’t realize that some non-compliant mattresses ignited by an
open-flame heat source (e.g. lighters, matches, and candles) can result in a
deadly fire in a matter of a few minutes. About one-third of all mattress
fatalities are attributed to mattress fires that ‘flashover’ from the
bedroom to other rooms of the home. The new standard limits the peak rate of
heat that can be released during the initial phase after a mattress catches
fire, thus reducing the risk of flashover and allowing people more time to
escape the fire.

Q: Will the materials used in mattresses to meet the new open-flame standard
make new mattresses less comfortable?

A: No. Each mattress manufacturer decides how to comply with the new national
standard, by working with material suppliers to develop and test mattresses that
will meet the new standard, yet continue to provide the same level of comfort
and support that consumers expect.

Q: Aren't there existing standards regulating mattress flammability?

A: The highly-effective federal cigarette-ignition standard has been in place
since the early 1970s. The new standard builds upon its success and takes
product safety one step further by addressing mattress fires ignited by
open-flame heat sources (e.g. lighters, matches, and candles). The new
open-flame mattress standard closely resembles a similar standard implemented in
2005 in California.

Q: How will I know that a mattress meets the new standard?

A: The rule will become effective on July 1, 2007 and applies to all mattress
sets manufactured in the United States or imported on or after that date. The
standard requires that each mattress set bear a permanent label stating that the
mattress complies with the standard.

Q: Will this new standard increase the price of mattresses for consumers?

A: The mattress industry is committed to producing and selling products that are
safe, comfortable, durable and affordable. Consumers can continue to expect the
same wide-range of product selections that they currently enjoy, available at
price points for every budget.

http://www.allmemoryfoam.com
Roberthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08069283240393669763sales@allmemoryfoam.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3514921808012559737.post-6960985768592069312007-06-19T10:55:00.000-04:002007-06-19T11:06:42.622-04:00New Fire Code For All Mattresses and Foundations
The new mattress Fire Resistant Code #1633 takes effect on July 1, 2007. How
this new law will effect the consumer and the mattress industry.

The new mattress FR Code 1633 was put in place to save lives. Serious fires
have resulted by mattresses, which within several minutes turn into an inferno.
The new Code now covers both the mattress and the box spring or foundation. Both
much be meet the new code or it can not be sold in the United States. This is a
universal code, and it covers all states.

We are happy this new law is taking place and at All
Memory Foam Mattresses, we decided to put the new code in place right
away. Every memory foam mattress we sell meets the new FR Code. Our selection of
memory foam mattresses are ready to order with a matching fire resistant
foundation.

On our site we have a question and answer page dedicated to the new Code. The
URL is http://www.allmemoryfoam.com/newfr16lawqu.html.

Online consumers need to know, that each online retailer must have a FR Code
1633 matching foundation available for sale. If you own a platform bed or
adjustable bed, which only needs a mattress only, you can purchase it. However
you must agree that the mattress you are about to purchase will not be placed on
an old foundation, or a foundation which doesn't meet the new code. It is always
best to replace both the mattress and foundation.

We invite you to look at our selection of
memory
foam mattresses and foundations.

http://www.allmemoryfoam.com
Roberthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08069283240393669763sales@allmemoryfoam.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3514921808012559737.post-77474541167200428062007-04-17T10:42:00.000-04:002007-04-17T10:44:13.728-04:005.5 Memory Foam ScamWhat is the 5.5 Memory Foam Scam?

You will find them for the most part on auction sites. No mention of the density of the memory foam, just the number 5.5 followed by memory foam mattress or memory foam mattress topper. The price associated is low, giving the consumer the feeling of a bargain. What you won’t find in the ads is the word 5.5 density memory foam. The wording of the ads sure makes it seem as if you are getting a memory foam mattress or memory foam topper with 5.5 density memory foam. I’ve read them and the ads are written to make you think you are getting a bargain.

What you are getting is maybe ½” 5.5 density memory foam on a lower density foam. You are purchasing an imported product, which has been compressed for months and months before it arrives at your home. For the most part you are purchasing your product on an auction format. (If you don’t give good feedback you receive negative feedback). You are told to let your new memory foam mattress or mattress pad to sit for 48-72 hours to allow air back into it. If you notice an odor, well then spray some Febreze on it.

Each month we receive offers to purchase imported memory foam mattresses and memory foam mattress toppers. In the end, we spend one third of our lives in bed. So wouldn’t it be wise to make sure that we get a comfortable sleep during the night?
Of course it would.
But you’d be amazed if you knew how many people are sleeping on uncomfortable beds and still do not do anything about it. They complain about various aches they have in the morning and still sleep on regular, many times old, flat beds and mattresses.
It doesn’t have to be this way.
When there are so many adjustable beds of all shapes and sizes on the market out there, it’s definitely not worth keeping your old bed and continue to worsen your health. Don’t you agree?
Sure, but here comes a question: Can electric adjustable beds actually deliver what they promise?”
We have heard many stories about adjustable beds. Many people say that electric adjustable beds have significantly reduced the back or neck-pain that they had. Some say they do not feel any swollen legs or feet anymore.
Let’s see if electric beds can actually help you.
Health Benefits of Electric Adjustable Beds
When sleeping on flat beds, your body is in tension. Our bodies are not flat, they’re curved. So when your body sleeps on flat bed, it feels discomfort, because it can’t normally adjust to the bed.
So how adjustable beds are different?
First of all, adjustable beds can be adjusted. You can increase the incline angle of electric adjustable bed right under the head. So your neck will be in more appropriate position. Second, if you pick quality mattress, like memory foam mattress, your body won’t even need to adjust to the bed. Memory foam mattress will automatically adjust to your body. So you won’t feel any discomfort and your body will lie in more natural position.
This can significantly reduce back pain, neck pain, shoulder tension, pelvic aches.
Blood Circulation and Asthma Problems
Many people complain about swollen legs and feet. When they get back from hard working day and lie in bed, the tension isn’t gone away. So in the morning they feel various aches and find it hard to get up and walk.
Electric adjustable beds might help people in this situation too.
First of all, if you slightly elevate the part of adjustable bed under legs, your blood circulation will increase. Second, if you choose memory foam mattress, you’ll also increase the circulation, because memory foam mattress reduces pressure points that you get when sleeping on regular (flat) beds.
It can increase circulation, reduce leg and feet swelling, reduce back pain and breathing difficulties for asthma patients.
Also, if you slightly incline the angle of your upper body, you make your breathing much easier. Asthma patients reported that when sleeping with their upper body part elevated, they feel less discomfort and experience easier breathing.
Conclusion
There are actually more health benefits reported that electric adjustable beds are able to provide.
If you can’t get a relaxing night’s sleep, feel discomfort in your feet or legs, have difficulties breathing, feel neck or backaches in the morning, then a quality electric adjustable bed is what you really need. These health benefits that adjustable beds provide are not myths. These are facts that many patients have reported.
If you want a really comfortable sleep, then don’t think any further than good electric adjustable bed. Don’t save your money at the expense of your health. Spend a thousand or few on a quality adjustable bed that will give you a comfortable sleep and much less discomfort than your regular flat bed.
A memory foam mattress is a great way to complete your adjustable bed. You might want to take a look at other products that are available that can make your life more comfortable without having to spend a lot of money. If the alternatives make a big difference then you can decide whether to invest in a new mattress at a later date.
The most common alternative products to try are memory foam pillows and memory foam mattress toppers. If you have a hard mattress then you can put a memory foam topper on top of your existing mattress to make your bed softer. However, don't try this if your mattress is too soft for you in the first place because a memory foam topper or memory foam pad will only make it softer. It must be just right for you, not too hard and not too soft.
If you have problems with aching neck and shoulders when you wake up then the first thing to do is to try a memory foam pillow. You might find that the additional support that you get from a memory foam pillow rather than a softer traditional one can make a lot of difference to you. Memory foam pillows come in two basic types, there are traditional shaped pillows and those that are shaped to fit into the curve of your neck and support your head. The pre-formed pillows are usually sold with a fitted cover but you can also use standard pillowcases with them.
You only need the one pillow for the correct amount of support so don't buy more than one. You can get memory foam pillows that are the normal pillow shape but they tend to be slightly more expensive because they use more foam and they are not likely to be as supportive.
The same high-density Visco-elastic foam that is used in the construction of mattresses is used in toppers and pillows. Its density governs the softness of the foam with 4lbs per cubic foot being softer than 5lbs per cubic foot. You can get toppers in different thickness but typically they tend to be about 2 to 4 inches thick. This is approximately the same thickness as you might find in a mattress construction with the memory foam layer bonded to a firmer core.
Memory foam is too soft to be used on its own in a mattress so a firm supportive core is always used. As for cost, the less dense the foam, the cheaper it is, but to get the best benefit, it is recommended to not use a density of less than 4lbs per cubic foot. Our memory foam mattress toppers are made with 4lb density foam, plus we give you an extra 10% more memory foam with each memory foam topper. Our memory foam toppers are made in the USA. Stay away from Asian memory foam mattresses, memory foam pillows, and memory foam mattress toppers. They use cheap labor, they have no regulations when it comes to using chemicals, and they compact their products for months before they end up in your home.

http://www.allmemoryfoam.com
Roberthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08069283240393669763sales@allmemoryfoam.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3514921808012559737.post-3367197551543247432007-03-11T14:53:00.000-04:002007-03-11T14:56:01.120-04:00How Do We Do It?
Why our prices are lower then the competitions?

When we started our Internet memory foam and adjustable bed business, our first goal was customer service.
