I've got to get away. Taking a vacation, not the one mentioned in Forrest Gump, where you never come back. I am just going cruisin' in my Camaro for a week. First to Southwest Missouri, spend some time with family there, then back through Illinois to have Thanksgiving with my Mother. Everyone, have a safe Turkey day, and if Joe Biden is on the road, move out of the way.

Not taking my laptop, I'll check in at family PCs. Just burning off unspent energy, pent up for a year. Then I'll be back, doing what I do, pestering the Left. I will leave with this though...more pertinent today, as it was then.

Congressional Black Caucus Blocks Regulatory Reform Package

It is not just the American voters that are unhappy with Barack Obama's job performance, the Congressional Black Caucus has just blocked the Regulatory Reform Package that has been debated for months, saying that Obama has not done enough to "help African American communities suffering in the economic decline."

The House committee had been set to vote to send the final piece of its regulatory reform package to the House floor after months of debate. That is, until the committee's chairman, Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.), told a shocked committee room that passage of the bill would be delayed until Dec. 1 because the Congressional Black Caucus wanted the administration to do more to help African American communities suffering in the economic decline.

Obama has made a mess of the economic recovery by spending hugely, with bailouts, schemes and raising taxes and not only are the regular, everyday, American citizens noticing and registering their disapproval, but our politicians are also noticing Obama's campaign promises were empty.

Of course the fall guy in all this will not be Obama.... it seems to be Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner.

Then again, ask yourself.... who chose Geithner as Treasury Secretary?

That answers who is responsible for these failures.

The Warning Signs Were Out There.

As far back as 2007 officials at Walter Reed knew that there were problems with Nidal Hasan, yet they did nothing. They chose to ignore the signs for whatever reason they had.

Two years ago, a top psychiatrist at Walter Reed Army Medical Center was so concerned about what he saw as Nidal Hasan's incompetence and reckless behavior that he put those concerns in writing. NPR has obtained a copy of the memo, the first evaluation that has surfaced from Hasan's file.

Officials at Walter Reed sent that memo to Fort Hood this year when Hasan was transferred there.

Nevertheless, commanders still assigned Hasan — accused of killing 13 people in a mass shooting at Fort Hood on Nov. 5 — to work with some of the Army's most troubled and vulnerable soldiers.

Memorandum for: Credentials Committee

Subject: CPT Nidal Hasan

1. I am the program director for NCC Psychiatry Residency Training Program. I took over as PD in MAR 2007 and was Assistant PD from July 2006. I have been a faculty member of the residency since July 2004.

2. This memo is based on my personal knowledge of and the documented incidences in CPT Hasan’s Resident Training File.

3. The Faculty has serious concerns about CPT Hasan’s professionalism and work ethic. Clinically he is competent to deliver safe patient care. But he demonstrates a pattern of poor judgment and a lack of professionalism. In his PGY-2 year, he was counseled for inappropriately discussing religious topics with his assigned patients. He also required a period of in-program remediation when he was discovered to have not documented appropriately an ER encounter with a homicidal patient who subsequently eloped from the ER. He did successfully remediate this problem. At the end of his PGY-2 year, he was placed on administrative probation by the NCC GMEC for failure to take and pass USMLE Step 3 and to obtain an unrestricted state medical license by the end of his PGY-2 year; as a result he was not promoted to PGY-3 on time. He did eventually complete step 3 and get a license and was promoted to PGY-3. He was counseled for having a poor record of attendance at didactics and lower than expected PRITE scores. One year he failed to show for his PRITE examination at all. During his PGY-3 year, he was counseled for being consistently late to NNMC morning report. During his PGY-4 year, he was discovered to have only seen 30 outpatients in 38 week of outpatient continuity clinic. He was required to make this missed clinic time up using his elective. He failed his HGT/WGT screening and was found to be out of standards with body fat % and was counseled on that.
Lastly, he missed a night of call for MGMC ER and then did not respond to numerous pages by my office the next day.

4. Take together; these issues demonstrate a lack of professionalism and work ethics. He is able to self-correct with supervision. However, at this point he should not need so much supervision. In spite of all of this, I am not able to say he is not competent to graduate nor do I think a period of academic probation now at the end of his training will be beneficial. He would be able to contain his behavior enough to complete any period of probation successfully. My purpose in writing this letter is to give the credentials committee the benefit of full disclosure and the opportunity to modify CPT Hasan’s plan of supervision following initial privileging.

5. I did discuss this memo with CPT Hasan and informed him I would be adding it to his initial credentialing paperwork.

A memo like that by a civilian hospital would destroy anyone's career, regardless of race or religion. But not in the military. What the US Army only wants is diversity for the sake of diversity. Not competency. Thus Hasan's passing grade and promotion.

In the old US Army, Hasan not only would have been investigate for his anti-American, treasonous (it is treason to side with the enemy during war-time) views, but would have failed in his quest to become a psychiatrist, been given a discharge (or asked to resign) and forced to pay the taxpayers back for his medical school.

No one would have died at Ft. Hood, and Hasan could have emigrated to one of the 57 Islamic countries that could have used his talents.

Oh for the good old days!

Reid Bribes Louisiana’s Mary Landrieu For Obamacare Vote?

Knowing he is short the votes needed to proceed to debate on his Obamacare bill, Harry Reid has been wheeling and dealing with Democrats not yet on board and without whom he cannot pass his bill.

One of those three is Louisiana’s Mary Landrieu and ABC's The Note has found language in the bill showing how Reid approached that problem.

On page 432 of the Reid bill, there is a section increasing federal Medicaid subsidies for “certain states recovering from a major disaster.”

The section spends two pages defining which “states” would qualify, saying, among other things, that it would be states that “during the preceding 7 fiscal years” have been declared a “major disaster area.”

I am told the section applies to exactly one state: Louisiana, the home of moderate Democrat Mary Landrieu, who has been playing hard to get on the health care bill.

In other words, the bill spends two pages describing would could be written with a single world: Louisiana. (This may also help explain why the bill is long.)

Senator Harry Reid, who drafted the bill, cannot pass it without the support of Louisiana’s Mary Landrieu.

How much does it cost? According to the Congressional Budget Office: $100 million.

It could all be for naught though, since Reid doesn't only need Landrieu, he needs the other two Democrats and both Independents, which includes Joseph Lieberman, who has stated clearly that if Reid leaves the "public option" in his version of the bill, he will join Republicans in filibustering.

Without Lieberman, Reid would need at least 1 Republican and as of now, he doesn't have one that will jump off that cliff with him.

27 Percent Strongly Approve Of Obama 41 Percent Stongly Disapprove

It looks like America is waking up to the fact that Barack Obama is not doing a good job as President.

Rasmussen:

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 27% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -14 (see trends).

Today’s results match the lowest Approval Index rating yet recorded for this President and it’s the third straight day at -14. Prior to these three days, Obama’s ratings had fallen to -14 on only one day since taking office.

Those are the numbers who "strongly" approve and disapprove.

Overall, the majority at least somewhat disapproves:

Overall, 47% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance. Fifty-two percent (52%) now disapprove.

Jesse Jackson: 'You can’t vote against healthcare and call yourself a black man'

Palin Hatred Drives Sullivan Around The Bend

Andrew Sullivan has finally let his intense hatred of Sarah Palin drive him round the bend. Her book was the straw that broke the camel's back or in other words drove the last sliver of sanity right out of Sullivan.

Stacy McCain thinks Sullivan should be deported...... too bad that would still leave him in America.

I gotta say, McCain certainly has a way with words.

"Earnestness"? You complain about being accused of earnestness, you demented poofter? After you've spent more than 15 months pushing that lunatic Trig Truther nonsense?

You are a dope-smoking, contagion-spreading menace to society, Andrew Sullivan, and you ought to be immediately deported. I think even Tom Tancredo, Pat Buchanan and Peter Brimelow would agree that your deportation is a matter of national security far more important than sending ICE to hassle a few hundred illegal Mexican poultry-plant workers in North Carolina.

In the meantime Sullivan has vowed to stay up all night debunking Palin's book.

Suggestion to Sullivan- Put the book down, step away from it and get a phone book and grab yourself the nearest shrink. Have long sessions and hopefully they will prescribed a little pill that will help your thinking processes.

Obamacare- Harry's Bill Bigger Than Nancy's

The Hill has provided a PDF of Harry Reid's 2,074 page Obamacare bill and Reid is expected to attempt to open debate on the bill by Friday.

Reid presented the bill to his caucus at a 5pm meeting. Democrats are pleased that the legislation comes in under the $900 billion maximum Obama has mentioned and reduces the deficit.

Republicans, meanwhile, slammed the bill as a costly "experiment."

“While Americans have been clear about their opposition to thousand-page bills for new government programs, it’s now abundantly clear that Democrats haven’t been listening," Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) after the bill was released "This is yet another trillion-dollar experiment, but it is not what Americans bargained for."

Democrats hope to open debate on the bill as early as Friday, but GOP demands that the entire bill be read aloud could delay that until next week.

How do they debate something they haven't even had time to read?

I hope the GOP forces every single word to be read out loud. Then perhaps anyone voting for or against a motion to proceed to debate, will be doing so knowing exactly what is in this mammoth sized bill.

This time, not quite as determined as the last, they attcked with a small skiff, with four on board. The Maersk shot a warning flare, oh, but these were really pesky Pirates, and paid no mind!

Rasmussen was first to notice Obama's approval ratings slipping below the 50 percent point and now Quinnipiac University National Poll confirms.

President Barack Obama's job approval rating is 48 - 42 percent, the first time he has slipped below the 50 percent threshold nationally, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today. Support for the war in Afghanistan and approval of President Obama's handling of the war also is down in the last month, and Republican support for the war is more than twice as strong as Democratic support.

Mounting evidence that independent voters have soured on the Democrats is prompting a debate among party officials about what rhetorical and substantive changes are needed to halt the damage.

Following serious setbacks with independents in off-year elections earlier this month, White House officials attributed the defeats to local factors and said President Barack Obama sees no need to reposition his own image or the Democratic message.

Since then, however, a flurry of new polls makes clear that Democrats are facing deeper problems with independents—the swing voters who swung dramatically toward the party in 2006 and 2008 but who now are registering deep unease with the amount of spending and debt called for under Obama's agenda in an era of one-party rule in Washington.

Obamacare- 3 Democrats To Call

Harry Reid is going to try to wheel and deal to get 3 Democratic Senators who are not on board with his Obamacare proposal to vote for the procedural motion which will allow his version of the bill to proceed.

Senator Ben Nelson, Democrat of Nebraska, says he is not sure he is ready to help a Democratic health care proposal clear even the most preliminary hurdle: gaining the 60 votes his party’s leaders need to open debate on the measure later this week.

Two of his fellow Democrats, Senators Mary L. Landrieu of Louisiana and Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas, are proving tough sells as well, raising the prospect that one or perhaps all three of them could scuttle the bill before the fight over it even begins on the Senate floor.

Reid's House of cards depends on those three and both Independents in the Senate.

Though he lacks 60 firm commitments, Mr. Reid said Tuesday that he remained cautiously optimistic that he could get the Senate’s 58 Democrats and 2 independents to vote to thwart a filibuster on what is known as a motion to proceed, the initial step in any debate.

While Reid is focusing on the three Democrats, he is ignoring the very clear statements from Joseph Lieberman, one of the two Independents, saying he will not vote for Reid's proposal if it includes the public option. Period.

Lieberman will join with Republicans in their filibuster.

Unless Reid can pull a Republican or two over to his side of the political arena, he must have Lieberman, Nelson, Landrieu and Lincoln.

National Debt Tops $12 Trillion

Technically, the debt hit the new high yesterday, but it was posted on the Treasury Department website just after 3:00 p.m. ET today. The exact calculation of the debt is a 16-digit tongue-twister and red-ink tsunami: $12,031,299,186,290.07

This latest milestone in the ever-rising journey of the National Debt comes less than eight months after it hit $11 trillion for the first time. The latest high-point is not unexpected, considering the federal deficit for the just-ended 2009 fiscal year hit an all-time high at $1.42-trillion – more than triple the previous year's record high.

Much of the increase in the deficit and debt is attributed to government spending outpacing revenue – both exacerbated by the recession and the government response to it – including hundreds of billions in bailouts and stimulus spending and tax cuts along with decreased tax revenues due to rising unemployment.

Obama and the Democrats in Congress and the Senate have spent like drunken sailors and now Obama tells the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation summit that he intends to focus on the debt.

I said it the other day and I will say it again... that is like closing the barn door after the horse escapes.

It gets worse. The same document projects that by the end of the decade, the National Debt will hit $24.5 trillion -- exceeding the Gross Domestic Product projected for 2019 of $22.8 trillion.

The new debt number adds urgency to Treasury Department calls on Congress to quickly raise the statutory limit on the National Debt which now stands at $12.104 trillion. The debt ceiling was last raised in February as part of the $787 billion Recovery Act stimulus bill.

The debt also costs a fortune to maintain. In the fiscal year just ended, the National Debt cost taxpayers over $383 billion. And that amount means the government is only paying 3.3 percent interest. If interest rates go up, so does the amount paid on the debt.

And we're paying it to scores foreign countries which hold $3.5 trillion of the U.S. Debt.

China leads the pack holding nearly $800 billion in U.S. Government securities, followed closely by Japan with $731 billion.

Interesting. In order to allow themselves to spend as freely as they have been doing, Congress raised the the statutory limit on the National Debt and now could do it again.

Despite Obama's empty words about focusing on the deficit, there is already talk about passing yet another stimulus bill, but they prefer not to call it a stimulus bill.

Aware that the February stimulus bill has not prevented unemployment from reaching 10.2 percent and of public opinion polls showing the free spending measure is losing popularity with voters, Democrats are wary of putting a stimulus label on their new package.

"I wouldn't characterize it as a second stimulus," House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer said Tuesday. "I don't want to be as broad as that, I want it to be very targeted on jobs."

House Republican leader John Boehner of Ohio states "Americans are asking, 'Where are the jobs?' But all they are getting from out-of-touch Washington Democrats is more spending and more debt piled on our kids and grandkids. Instead of doubling down with more spending and borrowing, the American people want fiscally responsible solutions to get the economy back on track."

This isn't just an "idea" they are floating, the Democrats in the House and Senate are already making proposals.

Lawmakers are pushing for a second economic stimulus bill, and transportation advocates hope it will contain funding for infrastructure without further delaying a multi-year surface transportation reauthorization bill.

The so-called jobs bill would follow the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act to spur employment amidst stubborn jobless numbers.

Senate Environment and Public Works chairman Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., and ranking Republican James Inhofe, R-Okla., yesterday introduced a bill reauthorizing the Economic Development Administration at $500 million per year through 2013, to fund development grants in economically distressed communities.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., “will be working with his [Democratic] caucus and the administration to put together such a package in the coming weeks so we can turn to it as soon as possible after completing health care,” said Regan Lachapelle, deputy communications director for Reid. “Although we believe passing health care will help our economy over the long haul, we feel we need to do something that will provide a more immediate boost.”

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., said yesterday during a briefing with reporters that he intends to bring such a bill to the floor of the House by Dec. 18.

Empty promises from a man who in July had one of his advisers already floating the idea of a second stimulus package, before the Democrats decided calling it a stimulus package might not be the best idea.

Bloomberg:

The U.S. should consider drafting a second stimulus package focusing on infrastructure projects because the $787 billion approved in February was “a bit too small,” said Laura Tyson, an outside adviser to President Barack Obama.

So, they will raise the limit on allowable debt, they will keep on spending, rename bills so the word stimulus doesn't piss Americans off and Obama will keep making speeches claiming he is going to focus on our debt as they continue to spend like money grows on trees.

I saw Lou Dobbs on O'Reilly last night, not quite the man I thought he was. He shares some of my values. Well, I'm watching O'Reilly again, and look what turns up? Was this man despised by us? Or despised by Liberals? Or, was he just an old man, needing to be replaced?

This is from a date I can remember, my birthday. Seems this was not an instantaneous decision by Dobbs.

Food For Fodder?

I just noticed a trend, that, interestingly enough, came up today. I noticed the story first on AOL Frontpage. So, you know me, I had to Google a phrase: Uninsured Trauma Victims. (try it yourself) I was taken aback at the number of sources, all dated yesterday the 16th, with the same dialect. Here is one:

I am not saying anything here, but I have a concern that this may be a push by "interest groups", to add food for fodder for the Dems Health Care Plan. Maybe I am saying something.

Question:
If this is so important to our lives, and the study has been going on for so long, why did it get so pertinent today? Right at the point that "The Bill", is in severe jeopardy? Just a bit convenient, if you ask me. I'm not saying anything, I'm just sayin'!

The End Of Tea Party Express II

Not everone will get excited about this, but it does tickle me, that it is over. The end of a successful tour, gets us that much closer to the means.

Ok, enough video, the point is, we are not being ignored as we were in the past. I'm sure Obama gets cable, and I know he watches CNN, to see what good news, his "Fold" has to give him.

The more events I personally attend, the better the positive response is. There used to be more 1 finger salutes, and thumbs down. Now horns are a honkin', and waves are a flying to us, and thumbs are up! People are getting tired of the mad Government spending spree! The People want the last word on this, and 2010, is getting a lot closer! I already see many Conservative Candidates, already running TV and Radio ads.

Terrorist Sympathizer, Lynne Stewart, Ordered To Jail

With the news this week that Barack Obama made the decision to bypass a military trial for the self proclaimed mastermind of the 9/11 terrorist attack on U.S. soil that brutally killed almost 3,000 people, and have Khalid Sheik Mohammed tried in civilian court in New York, it brought to mind one glaringly obvious example of how unprepared our civilian courts are to deal with terrorist related issues.

Lynne Stewart.

Background, via WSJ:

Stewart was convicted in 2005 for passing along a message from her client, Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman, who is serving a life sentence for plotting to blow up several landmarks in New York City.

Prison officials had required Stewart to refrain from carrying messages on his behalf. But in one instance, she called a reporter in Cairo to announce that Rahman was urging a terrorist organization to withdraw from a ceasefire with the government of Egypt.

Stewart deserves the max for conspiring to spread violent messages to Rahman’s followers–actions which resulted in the death of some 100 tourists at Egyptian resorts. Also found in her law offices: a draft fatwa from Rahman calling on jihadists to kill Americans and their children until his release is won.

Terrorist sympathizer, who was duty bound to defend a terrorist, but instead took it farther and helped him give orders to commit more terrorist acts, was tried in a civilian court.

Instead of the 30 years that she could have received for such a treasonous act, our civilian court Judge gave her 28 months.

A three-judge federal appeals panel heard arguments Tuesday from prosecutors seeking a harsher sentence for Stewart, who was given just 28 months in prison in 2006 for smuggling dispatches to and from her terrorist-mastermind client.

She could have gotten 30 years.

Nevertheless, District Judge John Koeltl decided that Stewart had performed "a public service . . . to the nation" in representing "Blind Sheik" Omar Abdel-Rahman - regardless of any, well . . . overzealousness in his cause.

Soak that in for a second.

28 months for delivering a terrorist message to other terrorists, abetting a terrorist.

Jump forward to today's news.

The bitch appealed and today a federal appeals court has ordered Stewart to surrender and to start serving her sentence, but they recommend the case be looked at again because the sentence is not harsh enough considering her crime.

A three-judge panel of the Second U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, in Tuesday morning's ruling, not only affirmed Stewart's conviction and ordered her to prison immediately, but remanded the case to Koeltl to consider whether she should get a harsher sentence.

Prosecutors had sought 30 years, and the court said Koeltl - who cited her lifetime of efforts on behalf of the downtrodden in mitigation - may not have adequately considered claims that she perjured herself and other factors.

"Because the district court declined to find whether Stewart committed perjury at trial, we cannot conclude that the mitigating factors found to support her sentence can reasonably bear the weight assigned to them," Judge Robert Sack wrote.

"This is so particularly in light of the seriousness of her criminal conduct, her responsibilities as a member of the bar, and her role as counsel for Abdel-Rahman."

Get that? They remanded the case to the same judge that felt sorry for Stewart and gave her the the pathetic 28 month sentence!

A divided U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit said that Southern District Judge John G. Koeltl must take a second look at the sentence of two years and four months he meted out in 2006, a stretch that Ms. Stewart observed she could do "standing on her head." (NYLJ, Oct. 17, 2006)
Judges Robert D. Sack and Guido Calabresi were in the majority in United States v. Stewart, 06-5015-cr, holding that Judge Koeltl needed to revisit the weight he gave to mitigating factors that led him to give Ms. Stewart the sentence. The government had asked for 30 years.

Judge John M. Walker Jr. dissented, saying the majority did not go far enough and that he was "at a loss" for "any rationale that could reasonably justify a sentence of 28 months."

A perfect example of why civilian courts should not be where terrorist or terrorist sympathizers are tried.

The original Judge felt "sorry" for Stewart and not only gave her 28 months, but she has been free for the last 4-5 years, walking the streets pending her appeal.

28 Months for an act that can and is seen as treason to some of us.

This prominently shows the civilian courts inability and incompetence in dealing with military issues, national security issues and trying terrorists and their accomplices.

The judge acknowledged that Ms. Stewart'’s crimes were serious, involved dishonesty and breach of trust,” and led to “potentially lethal consequences.

Liberal bleeding hearts can whine all they want about the Military Commissions Act-2006 that was signed this morning, but I, for one, have much more confidence in the Military Tribunals effectively punishing these traitors and terrorists than a court system that can do what Judge Koeltl just did.

I stand by that today in the case of Khalid Sheik Mohammed.

He should not be brought to New York to face a civilian trial. He should be tried in a military court for the crime he committed on 9/11. A terrorist attack on America.

Thanking Our Troops- 'Toast to the Troops'

ABC 15.com, West Valley News, Arizona:

Toast to the Troops held its first thank you event for military men and women in uniform Saturday night.

The purpose of the event was for people in the community to meet and express thanks to the men and women that sacrifice so much on our behalf and to raise money for Operation Homefront of Arizona.

Toast to the Troops was started by a veteran and a group of volunteers.

They wanted to gather local residents and businesses to honor men and women serving in the armed forces.

Money raised through sponsorships and ticket sales is donated to organizations that support active service members and their families in a time of need.

More people need to thank them. Kudos to Operation Homefront of Arizona.

White House Website Lists Jobs That Don't Exist From Stimulus

A $787 billion dollar stimulus bill, meant to stimulate our economy was passed by Congressional Democrats and the Obama administration and not only did it spectacularly fail to create the amount of jobs Obama and crew promised, but the jobs they do report as success are peppered with fake jobs in non-existent districts.

Multiple news reports show how trustworthy the Obama administration is in accounting for all that money.

Starting with ABC, piece titled "Exclusive: Jobs 'Saved or Created' in Congressional Districts That Don't Exist."

Here's a stimulus success story: In Arizona's 15th congressional district, 30 jobs have been saved or created with just $761,420 in federal stimulus spending. At least that's what the Web site set up by the Obama administration to track the $787 billion stimulus says.

There's one problem, though: There is no 15th congressional district in Arizona; the state has only eight districts.
And ABC News has found many more entries for projects like this in places that are incorrectly identified.

What does the White House blame it on? Human error.

Ok, people make mistakes, but supposedly the powers that be did go through the data provided because it reported, via ABC News again, "Obama Admin Slashed 60,000 Jobs From Recent Stimulus Report," from 12 Stimulus Recipients that reported unrealistic data.

How about the "75,343 Bogus jobs 'created or saved' by the Stimulus?"

More than ten percent of the jobs the Obama administration has claimed were "created or saved" by the $787 billion stimulus package are doubtful or imaginary, according to reports compiled from eleven major newspapers and the Associated Press.

Based only on our analysis of stimulus media coverage in the last two weeks, The Examiner has created this interactive map to document exaggerated stimulus claims. The map, which will be updated as new revelations appear, currently reflects an exaggeration by the Obama administration of about 75,000 jobs, out of the 640,000 jobs supposedly "created or saved."

The map reflects reports from The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, the Sacramento Bee, The New York Times, USA Today, the Las Vegas Sun, the Detroit Free Press, the New York Post, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, the Associated Press, the Chicago Tribune, and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. It remains a work in progress because relatively few newspapers have scrutinized stimulus spending so far.

A little information about the White House website that reported these fake stimulus jobs. Over and above the $787 billion on a stimulus bill that stimulated far less than Team Obama is trying to make the public believe it stimulated, the website Recovery.gov, cost taxpayers an additional $18 million.
