Thats a lot!
What have I been doing for these 2 months?!
A lot!
1.

I finished my first "professional" project for someone! I wrote a program as a TA!
I wrote the code for a BUET teacher, who is doing his M.Sc here.
I can't disclose much but the program has two very famous algo's Genetic algorithm and Simulated annealing algorithm .I wrote the code in C++.(Java definitely would have been a better choice.)

2.
I have been writing some poems,short stories too! I wrote my first thriller story!
And my first English story too!
I am gonna publish them here very soon!

I have been watching CSI, Alfred Hitchcock.
Reading some cool books,blogs!

আমি জ্বিনি ! তবে ভাই বাংলাদেশি জ্বিনি । দেশপ্রেমিক জ্বিনি ! আমার সাথে থাকে আমার sidekick মিনি। খালেদা ম্যাডাম জেলে এইটা শোনার পর থেকেই আমার মন খারাপ! আমি এই কয়দিন (মানে মানবীয় হিসেবে ২ বছর ) দেশে ছিলাম না ! এই কয়দিনেই এত কাণ্ড! ম্যাডামকে তখন ই ছাড়িয়ে আনার ইচ্ছে জাগল! কিন্তু মানবতার খাতিরে ছাড়িয়ে আনলে পরে জ্বিনবতা রক্ষার লোকেরা আমাকে ধরে...!! জ্বিনরা মানুষদের মাঝে নাক গলান পছন্দ করে না!

আর কিছু না পারি ম্যাডাম এর সাথে দেখা তো করতে পারি! যেই ভাবা সেই কাজ আমার মিনিকে নিয়ে গেলাম ম্যাডাম এর জেলখানায়! ম্যাডাম চিন্তিত মুখে বসে আছেন ।

ম্যাডাম দেখি ঘামছেন !!

মিনিঃ কি ব্যাপার লোডশেডিং নাকি? এইবার বুঝেন ক্ষমতায় থাকাকালে পাবলিকের লেগা কিছু না করার ফল! এখন আপনারাও লোডশেডিং এর শিকার!

আমিঃ নাহ বেটা! ঐ দেখ এসি চলে,ফ্যান চলে!

মিনিঃ তারপর ও ঘামতাছেন! ঘটনা তো বরই সাংঘাতিক যাকে বলে ...!

আমিঃ চুপ! ম্যাডাম এর সাথে শুধু আমি কথা বলব তুই কোন কথা বলবি না! ম্যাডাম মনে হয় টেনশনে আছেন...

মিনিঃTENশন না কোটিশন!

আমিঃ চুপ!

আমি একটু সামনে এগিয়ে গেলাম ।

আমাকে দেখে ম্যাডাম চমকে গেলেন!

ম্যাডামঃ কে তুমি? এখানে ঢুকলে কিভাবে?

আমিঃ আমি জ্বিনি ম্যাডাম!

ম্যাডামঃ আলাদীনের জ্বিনি?

মিনিঃ এই জন্য ই এই দেশের কিছুই হয় না! কেন বাংলাদেশের জ্বিনি হয়তে পারে না?!! সব সময় খালি foreign জিনিসের কথা ভাবেন!

আমিঃ এই চুপ!! সরি ম্যাডাম এই বেয়াদবটার কথায় কিছু মনে নিবেন না! নাদান বাচ্চা! আমি ম্যাডাম বাংলাদেশি জ্বিনি ! (বাঙালি জ্বিনি নাই বা বললাম !শেখ হাসিনার সাথে দেখা করার সময় নিজেকে বাঙালি জ্বিনি বলব!)

ম্যাডামঃ এখানে কী চাও?

আমিঃ আপনার খোজ় নিতে এলাম! ম্যাডাম এসি রুমেও ঘামছেন ?! খুব টেনশনে আছেন বুঝি?

ম্যাডামঃ হ্যা ঠিক ই বলেছ টেনশনে আছি!

মিনিঃ তারেক ভাইরে লয়া?!! যেই মাইর গুলা খাইতাছে! চুল তো মনে হয় একটাও কাচা নাই! সব ই পাইক্কা গেছে গা!

আমিঃ চুপ! ম্যাডাম কি তারেক স্যার কে নিয়ে চিন্তা করছেন?

ম্যাডামঃ না!

মিনিঃ মাইনাস টু নিয়ে?!! আপনাকে আর রাজনীতি করতে দিবে না এইটা নিয়া??!! দল থেকা বাইর কইরা দিব...

আমি মিনির মুখ চেপে ধরলাম ।

আমিঃ সরি ম্যাডাম ! নাদান বালক!

মিনিঃ আমার বয়স ১২০! ম্যাডাম এর চেয়েও বেশি!

আমিঃ চুপ! এখন নিজেকে যুবক বলার সময় আসে নি! ম্যাডাম বলেন কি চিন্তা?

ম্যাডামঃ না মাইনাস টু নিয়েও চিন্তিত না!!

মিনিঃ দেশে নির্বাচন হবার কোনই চান্স নাই এইটা নিয়ে চিন্তা?!

ম্যাডামঃ না!

মিনিঃ ফেইসবুকের জনপ্রিয়তা নিয়ে?!!!

ম্যাডামঃ (অবাক হয়ে)না!!

আমিঃ দ্রব্যমূল্য নিয়ে?

ম্যাডামঃ হ্যা!

এবার আমি আর মিনি অবাক হলাম!!

মিনিঃ কেন? জেলে কি সত্যি সত্যি মোটা চালের ভাত দিচ্ছে?!!!

আমিঃচুপ!!!

ম্যাডামঃ তবে চাল এর দাম বাড়া নিয়ে যত টেনশনে আছি তার চেয়ে বেশি টেনশনে আছি আলুর ব্যবহার বেড়ে যাওয়ায়!!

আমিঃ বুঝি নাই!!

ম্যাডামঃ আগে তো ধানের শীষের প্রতি মানুষের একটা দুর্বলতা ছিল! কারণ মাছে ভাতে বাঙালি! আর এখন আলুর ব্যবহার বেড়ে যাওয়ায় সবাই আলুভর্তার বাঙালি হয়ে গেছে! ভাবতেছি ধানের শীষ থেকে প্রতীক আলুতে নিতে কতটা কষ্ট হবে?!!

মিনি কিছু বলতে চাচ্ছিল তার আগেই আমি ওর মুখ ধরে ম্যাডাম কে সালাম দিয়ে চলে আসলাম!

এই গল্পটি সত্য যদি ও কেবল যদি জ্বিনি-মিনি আমার সাথে যোগাযোগ করে থাকে !

Lets dream about a train journey!

In what would be the world's greatest rail journey, a new rail link, to be opened later this year, will enable one to undertake a 23-day journey by train from London to Dhaka via New Delhi.

The 7000-mile Trans-Asia railway network will follow one of the old Silk Roads through Istanbul, Tehran, Lahore and Delhi. The world's "greatest railway journey" will be longer than the Trans-Siberian railway, which spans 5772 miles, reported the Times Online.

India has already earmarked 90 million pounds to extend its vast rail network towards its border with Burma. From there just 218 miles of missing track stands in the way of an overland rail journey from London to Singapore.

Under a UN-sponsored scheme, Pakistan and Iran will link up their lines in the coming months to join the sub-continent's track to that of Europe for the first time. The UN said the link would open up new trade routes within Asia and give the former Soviet republics of central Asia rail access to Iran's strategic seaport at Bandar Abbas on the Gulf.

The route was extended when the Calcutta to Dhaka line reopened earlier this month, more than 40 years after it was blocked during the Indo-Pakistan war of 1965.

Last week, senior Indian officials met their Iranian counterparts in Tehran to discuss the progress so far made in the rail network.

The prospect has caused excitement among Britain's rail enthusiasts. Mark Smith, whose website Seat61.com promotes rail adventures around the world, was planning his first London to Dhaka itinerary. His trip incorporates the Eurostar to Brussels, breakfast in Vienna and onward trains to Istanbul, where travelers must take the ferry across the Bosporus linking Europe with Asia. The ferry will eventually be replaced by an underground tunnel, but for now passengers will be able to enjoy views of the Aya Sofya and Topkapi Palace.

China, a big supporter of the project, is spending billions on extending rail lines to its Burmese border.

Trans-Asia railway sources said the only barrier to eventually connecting London to Yunnan province and Singapore was Burma's military regime, whose poor human rights record means that no foreign funding is available to rebuild its railways.

Nafees Bin Zafar, a Bangladeshi, received the "Scientific and Engineering Award" given by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science. This was communicated by Sid Ganis, President of the Academy Board of Governors in a letter dated December 13, 2007. The Award will be handed over during the Oscar Season at the Scientific and Technical Awards Dinner and Ceremony at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, on February 9, 2008, says a press release.
The Academy Board of Directors has voted to bestow the "Scientific and Engineering Award" to Nafees Bin Zafar, Doug Roble and Ryo Sakaguchi of Digital Domain for the development of the fluid simulation system. The feature film work of Nafees Bin Zafar includes screen credits on "Stealth", "Flags of Our Fathers", and "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End". He is a software engineering graduate from the College of Charleston with many professional credentials and recognition in his area of expertise.

Circumcised Ceremony : A true story!!!

I am narrating a story to u. Unfortunately based on a true story!
A boy named ABIR’s story it is.

In our country Bangladesh, here is a tradition when we circumcise a boy, we usually arrange a party!
Though he [Abir] hates this kind of party, but on his circumcision there was a ceremony organized by his parents!
[At that time he was only 10 years old! So he was excited!].
On that ceremony the circumcised boy is treated as a new bridegroom!!
He was wearing a turban, with typical Muslim dresses like Panjabi+Payjama.
There was a stage for him. He was sitting there and taking greetings, gifts. He was feeling like a king!
Then a girl [9/10 years old] came to him.
She asked “u have circumcised ur….?!!”
He answered “yes!!”[at that time I don’t think he felt any kind of shyness!! Age 10,remember ?]
“Did it hurt?”
“A little bit.”
“Can I see it?”

Mars not really a planet!!

NASA released the results of it's 'Operation Other Planet' study today, confirming scientist's worst fears the world over: Mars is not really a planet.

Close-up photos from the satellite 'Investigate' reveal that the red planet is not truly a planet by definition at all, but rather a giant weather balloon that was released into the air back in the WWII era by the Soviet Union in meteorological preparation for a Nazi winter attack. The weather balloons back then were each given their own distinct name by the weather troops that managed this program for the Soviet state. The one that engorged to become Mars was actually named 'Piscchov'.

The weather balloon's size and shape was maintained by the rarefied oxygen levels in outer space, coupled with the surprisingly high quality of rubber produced by the communist state at that time.
Despite this shocking news, Harrah's Entertainment has decided to forge onward with it's casino and hospitality ventures on the surface of this rubber spherical sensation we've come to call Mars.

Pattern,randomness and me!!

I have been writing (or trying to write!!) a Science fiction novel(i named it "AGATHA -2100",sounds cool?) for the last 10/12 days.In this novel a hacker(protagonist of my novel) is trying to hack a computer[i should have added SUPER!].
I was explaining my younger sister about randomness and pattern.[Which is very crucial to hack that super computer!] I was telling her that"Look everything has a pattern!In sky,in space,in earth,even in animals!!"
She told me"ya.In everything u will find pattern,is that what u r trying to tell me?"
I answered her "ya that's right!"
"But one thing that is completely random!!
I was astonished ! "What is that?"
"Your room!!Look at the books,pens,DVDs,bottles,..[pointing to my bed!]....see its an example of complete randomness!!"

After all those years,Hollywood is trying to "copy" BD[Bangladeshi/Bangla/Dhallywood ] movies??!

I know,u r thinking this blogger is mad!

But i am not!

Need proof?

Here they are:

1.Maverick director James Cameron's film Titanic [All time blockbuster] is a "copy" of BD movies!!

Synopsis:Rich girl.Poor boy.Rich villain[antagonist].Antagonist try to kill the boy.....

[though the end was different but.....if u r a Bangladeshi, i think u know what i mean!!This was the typical pattern of BD movies....i don't know anything about today's pattern...]

2.Spider man 3: Protagonist's friend died to save him!!

[Are u getting this?]

3.Sweeney Todd: Dude!Its a Tim Burton movie[with Johnny Depp!]!It is also a "copied" movie!!Protagonist misjudged by antagonist...he lost his wife,child....after lots of sufferings protagonist try to take revenge!![Again the end is different!They had to do it...or what people would say?!!!!!]

4.Do i need to tell u what is the quality of Hollywood's typical Si-Fi films??Aren't they BD fantasy film [those with snakes related.. নাগ নাগিনী]type!

Review of National Treasure:Book of Secrets

I have been showing great interest about this movie.See it here and here.

This movie has opened with good response from audience.But critics are not much happy with it.Of course they were not pleased with the 1st part too!Still it managed to do well in box office.This movie is also going to do good business,I hope so.

There is good sign too!See this.This site is saying this film is going to earn $45m !

I couldn't help but read the wiki article about it!Which was containing spoilers!!To much relieve it didn't contain much spoilers,it made the film more attractive!

I am eagerly waiting to see this movie.I hope i will be able to watch it within 4/5 days.After then i will add my review.Till then read these reviews!

I wonder why Google doesn't allow cats ? Do googlers have allergy with cats?

It was my childhood(teen hood actually!) dream to work in Google!!But being a mediocre programmer i don't think i will be able to work there.But i have got an excuse,why i don't want to work in Google?!!
Becoz they don't allow cats!!
I love cats!!

1.Sweeney Todd: A film by Tim Burton .And its a Johnny depp movie!! Johnny depp is my favourite actor.This movie is surely gonna give him an Oscar nomination,may be the prize too!

2.National Treasure 2: Watch its trailer and be ready to enjoy this years most awaited adventure film.

I am appealing to all from thousands of miles away to buy Bangladeshi products when you go shopping. This will save our hard earned foreign currency and create jobs in local industries. You may not see the benefits right away but it has long term implications which a country like India is enjoying now--within a short time we may see them in the position of a superpower but this fortune has not come to them very easily - only with their determination and belief in themselves. So let us also embark on a self-improvement path and feel proud of ourselves as well.

Its really bad that a man living in USA is thinking about our country, we who are living in this country are very much unaware about that!! Shame! Shame!
