Here is another Christmas card I made for my Christmas Card Class tomorrow. Its the easiest Christmas card anyone can make but its sooo elegant. The red and white DP paper is actually a flocked texture paper and so beautiful to touch and looks so much nicer in person.

Creative Festival Xmas Card Class - VERY DISAPPOINTING

As promised I am posting pictures from the Christmas Card Class that I took this weekend at the Creative Festival. I have to state how VERY DISAPPOINTED I am in this class and the instructor. I will be making a phone call to Creative Festival on Monday when they are back in the office.

So firstly the instructor is a Stampin' Up Demo which is sooooooo disgusting. She is giving Stampin' Up such a bad name. All she kept saying was she was getting out of SU and selling everything she has in her booth and at the end of this class, which I found very inappropriate. She was even selling items and receiving money for them in class! So she had a helper who was totally clueless and they were very diorganized. Nothing was set up when we got in the class. Now I am comparing this expereince to CK Convention in Buffalo that was very professional and organized, this does not compare.

So we made 3 cards for $25.00............CRAZY...............and the class was 1.5 hours but you could have done this in 15 mins if they were organized, we left after one hour and we sat and waited for soooo long for them to get their act together.

So the first card, the blue and green, which I personally do not like that colour combo. When we were waiting for the stamp the helper told us to go ahead and start gluing the cardstocks together well some people did and originally this card is suppose to have a ugly white ribbon going down the left side and its suppose to be behind the CS so the people that listened to his helper had to redo theirs. So I opted out of that ugly white ribbon which was so thick it would cover that first big tree on the left. So when I got home I added green SU glitter to the trees (she didn't do that to her card, her card was very dull) and I added dazzling diamonds underneath the trees to look like snow and then I added the little knot ribbon to the left. I think it came out okay once I made all my changes.

The second card there is not bad. I was disappointed that she has embossed her pinecone in the sample card and all she had for us was glitter. YOU DO NOT SAMPLE A CARD AND DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT! And her ribbon was off to the side so I added it to the actual end of the pinecone stem, I think that looks nicer. I would have liked to emboss my pinecone also!

The last card is soooooo UGLY that I tried to redo it but I can't. I dn't have any other words for that card. I really did not want to post it because its so ugly but I wanted to show you all what this class was like.....it was terrible!

Also she had no glue dots for the ribbon (the red card), she didn't have enough envelopes for all the cards, the CS were not cut even or to size. It was just a huge mess!

So I was not happy with the class at all. But I did go with a friend and we did get some good laughs out of it. After this terrible class we proceded to the show and my fave vendor was there, Stamping Bella, got some stamps ofcourse. There were a few vendors where we stood and watched them demo for awhile. We learned some good techniques, more so then that class. OH another reason why I am so mad at that class.......the description specifically said we would learn new techniques but we learned NADA!

Anyways, it was a nice day overall. My friend and I went for a late, late lunch and then stopped at Scrapolicious on the way home.......yup we couldn't resist a little bit more scrapbook shopping......LOL

Creative Festival

Yes I am finally back from sunny Florida but I have had no time to create anything. I will be making more Christmas cards this week since I have my Christmas Card Class coming up.

But tomorrow I am off to the Creative Festival with a friend and we are also doing a class, this is the first time I have done a class at the Creative Festival, I hope its good! I will definately post my creations from the class when I return!

So I think this stamp is my favourite stamp of the new SU Catalogue. Hard to believe its only a one stamp but he is the cutest reindeer I have seen. So this is the first of many Christmas cards to come since its the season already!

Witch Feet Halloween Card

Like I promised, just one more post of Disney shirts and tomorrow I will post a papercraft!So I made these shirts, I thought it would be cute for the 3 of us to match one day while we are at Magic Kingdom. MNSSHP Disney Tops

So we are now off to Disney in 4 days, woohoo!!!!!

We bought tickets for MNSSHP "Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party" and DD will be dressed up as Tinkerbell with lighted wings.....it will look really cute at night. I wanted DH and I to also get dressed up but couldn't not find an appropriate costume so I made these shirts that we will wear at the party that night. The designs were done by a very talented lady on the Disboards and I printed it and ironed it on to the shirts. Easy Peasy! So I have one more set of shirts and then I promise to get back to papercrafts.....LOL

More Disney Tank Tops

No papercrafts yet today, sorry! I have been busy making more Disnye rhinestone tops for DD for our upcoming trip which is now in 6 days....woohoo!!!!

So I made a white tank with "Minnie" written in red and a cute pink flower and the other is a blue tank top with "Disney Diva" in silver rhinestones. DD will just love wearing these at Disney!

Not a Papercraft but SO CUTE!

So this is not a papercraft but this is what I have been working on the last few days. So we are off to Disney World in exactly 7 days.....woohoo!!!! I wanted to make some custome made items for DD and this is the first one that I made. This is super easy! I got a design that I wanted (love google...LOL) and the got some mylar paper and some iron on rhinestones and a hot iron and tada, an adorable minnie mouse tank top. I got the tank top at Zellers that already had the silver rhinestones on top so it blends in nicely with the minnie mouse. I think its adorable and I am sure DD will love wearing it. I am working on a few more so check back soon!

Tutuface Dance Cards

I should be getting my daughters dance pictures this week when we go to dance classes and I always make a card to place the picture in for close friends and family members. So here is the card that will hold those adorable pictures.....LOL

Baby Tri-Shutter Card

My dear friend had a beautiful baby boy, so this card is for baby Brayden! (I hope his mommy doesn't come see my blog until I give it to her....LOL....but if she does that's okay, it actually looks nicer in person....LOL)

The Villians - Disney Layout

Well I am finally finished my 2008 Disney album....woohoo!

Here is another layout from the album.

My DD really enjoyed her time with Captain Hook and Mr Smee, they were very playful!

I foudn this really perfect DP at the Sandylion Outlet and the jewel Mickey head I found then in Jo-Ann's on our last trip to Florida and thought they would be perfect on my disney layouts. I used my Cricut for the title and the Mickey head and I used Stickles to outline it. I really like how this layout came out!

Pooh's Thoughtful Spot - Disney Layout

I am almost done my Disney album, thankfully! Here is a cute layout of my daughter playing at Pooh's Thoughtful Spot. Its such a nice little area in Magic Kingdom. All the die cuts were made using teh Cricut cartridge of Winnie The Pooh and I used lots of stickles to add some dimension to them. Hope you like it!

Disney - 'Ohana's Layout

Yup still working on last years Disney album, I can't wait until its finished.....LOL

Well here is another layout from that album. Its the 'Ohana breakfast with the Mickey gang and Lilo & Stitch, my DD loves this breakfast. I had this great Hawaiian looking paper (not sure where its from) and I finally used my "Life's A Beach" Cricut cartridge, oh I love this cartridge. I made the hibiscus flowers, the hawaiian dancing girl and the title using that cartridge. I also used stickles to give the die cuts some detail. This was a super fun layout to do!

Disney Layout

Sorry I have been a bit absent lately, the summer is always crazy. We keep ourselves busy at this end in the summer. This last week alone we have spend the weekend up in Tobermory getting our scuba diving certificate, taken DD to the Toronto Zoo, taken DD strawberry picking again, yesterday we spent the day at Thornbury beach, that is one busy week. So this is how our summer usually goes but I will try to post as much as possible!

So we are going back to Disney World in September and I can not believe I have not finished our 2008 trips scrapbook book so I decided to but card making aside for a bit and hopefully get this album finished. So here is a layout of Mickey Mouse's house that DD really enjoyed seeing. As you will notice DD is wearing the limited edition of the Year Of A Million Dreams Mouse Ears, we won them when we came off a ride. It was the highlight of the day. I used my Cricut to make the title and the house. Isn't it cute?

Lovely New In Colours

I finally received my pre-order today, yes very late but I have been very busy!

When I opened the box I was in love :)

I love these 4 new colours, I also ordered the Dusty Durango but its on backorder. But I can definately see myself using these colours and I so love these new ribons. Beautiful!

So these colours are: Soft Suede, Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry and Bermuda Bay!

I hope to have some new creations soon. We are off tomorrow up to Tobermory. DH and I are taking our PADI Open Water/Scuba Diving Course so wish us luck and I will see you all next week!
