LA office. You know what?
Today, these things got pushed
to the back of the closet!

That's right baby it's Morphin' Time.
Sentai what? Those old Japanese
toys with chrome? No thanks!
Gimme my Tommy, Zach and
Kimberly. Why watch fan subs
when you can get the Juice Bar
in English with better music!
Ban Dai USA has skipped
Shinkenger and created a
redo of Zyuranger, which
was what we knew of as the very first
season of Power Rangers way back
in the good ole days.
I need to look up that Juggernaut
version once more for a good cry.

I didn't apply stickers to this guy as the
factory ones are already coming
off right out of the box, but I must say
this guy RULES!
It's great to see these things made
just for kids. I hope they re-release
the original for us old nerdy types.
Great job Ban Dai USA!

Uglydoll action figure Series 2 will
be revealed at Toy Fair this February
and ship in March. We are approving
final packaging now. This is the
front of the display box they all sit in.
To check out the rest stay tuned
here, as I will reveal all before we
leave for toy fair. Or sooner.
These is no chase element, such as
a red tooth Wedgehead thing, and
it's still one box = whole set.

OK so that's an odd image.
Are those ghost kids?

You know how I LOVE to rant on
why the heck is it acceptable to tell your
kids one ghost story but not another.
So for CNN, you're OK if you believe in the
religion if your choice but thinking
aliens ( a non spiritual entity...like a whale)
are real is seen as nutty, etc.
This one is great...CNN giving parental
advice on telling your child what's
real or not? The kids think there's a
monster under the bed because
they took more than a 5 minute
peak at the awful crap on TV, first of all.
Basically we're going to tell our kids
there's a high probability that ghosts are 100%
real, they aren't scary, you live forever, and
everything on the news is fake and BS.
Maybe I should put the TV under the bed.
Far more scary.

Just curious, have you or has anyone in your
family ever seen a ghost?
If I tell you Sun-Min's ghost story

simply because waiting until Toy Fair
2010 means shops wouldn't get anything
new in until March! Well that just won't do.
But for Action Figures Series 2, you will
have to wait until Toy Fair. Darn!

Polish PM: Poland not buying swine flu vaccination unless it has been properly tested
WARSAW, Poland - Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said Friday that his government won't buy vaccines for swine flu that have not been properly tested or from producers who won't take responsibility for possible side effects.

Tusk told reporters that vaccine producers were pressuring governments to buy, but were also demanding that all responsibility and compensation for possible negative side effects fall upon government shoulders.

"Today we are dealing with great pressure from pharmaceutical firms ... we are dealing with expectations that hundreds of millions of zlotys (dollars) will be spent on vaccine while no one wants to guarantee that it has no side effects," he said.

He stressed that the few dozen swine cases in Poland have been mild and no deaths have been reported.

Some independent health experts have been advising vaccination after a recent surge in flu cases in neighbouring Ukraine saw more than 700,000 cases and 109 deaths of people with flu-like illness in recent weeks.

Fourteen of the fatalities were swine flu cases, Polish news agency PAP reported, citing Ukraine's chief doctor Oleksandr Bilovol.

Polish health officials said a military medical laboratory in Pulawy was testing samples taken in Ukraine from sick people. Poland is also sending face masks to Ukraine.

On Thursday, the World Health Organization said that the swine flu virus has become the predominant flu strain worldwide.

In some countries, swine flu accounts for up to 70 per cent of the flu viruses being sampled, according to Dr. Keiji Fukuda, WHO's top flu official.

While most people recover from the illness without needing medical treatment, officials are also continuing to see severe cases in people under 65 - people who are not usually at risk during regular flu seasons.

DEADLINES

HO HO HO! Holiday Bossy Bears, turtle and Crocadoca
are on the way! Check with your local mom and pop shop!
I just entered a new level of workload & deadlines.
I am working on a few new books all due in January,
several all new toy lines all due very soon, art
for upcoming shows, oh yeah and running our toy
company which by itself takes 40 hours a day to do.
I am also taking far more time for my own family
now that we are back in the USA. The help from
grandma hours went way, way down. So I am
going to be working a lot less hours...uh
but still getting all the above done.
So if you know me, bye bye. Now you don't.

Just brought this home but our daughter LOVES it
so I give it a few weeks before utter destruction
with bent guns and missing pieces. Hey but
that's what it's here for.

A PS3 in every room and this is as far as I will be getting
on any game this year. I played through this one when I
was in school. In fact I met Sun-Min when I was playing
through the Japanese version waaay back, so I named
Tifa "Sun-Min". That's pretty creepy actually.

I really love the clone wars toys these days.
If you work for Hasbro, lets trade. These
will be broken by Sunday.
Our kiddo loves em.

As of noon LA time today, the
show is up online here at

While I was standing around in
person getting to shake hands
with Star Trek stars and be up
on stage with all the great talent,
Sun-Min deserves all the credit
for her awesome Sun-Min Monsters
and Collaboration figure heads.
She is really into sculpting/resins now,
so while those particular guys are no more,
she is sure to have some all new ones at our
next show. Next time I want her to ignore
my drawings and make up her own guys
from scratch.

SAMURAI HA OH

October means the final giant
Sentai Robot, which means even
less space at the office. Unless
next year is either Ninja, Yokai,
or Samurai themed, I'm giving up
on multiples. I think I've finally
grown up. Ha! No no, but I am
100% out of room!

When you put everyone together,
he forms one giant...thing.
I kinda like the big Mougyudaioh
by himself. Hard to tell from
these pics but he also turns
into a bull. Yeah, I'm not
getting a 3rd one to
display that mess.

I've grown up, remember?
No, I mean I am out of room.
Same thing.

Still can't beat Muteki Shogun or
Kakurager. Those were the days.
Still my favorite line.
