A major milestone would be the US actually committing itself to getting all of its troops out of Iraq as soon as possible.

And to not doing any more wars of aggression.

You know, even IF the Iraq invasion had been somehow justified, even assuming that, as Putin pointed out recently, a case by case approach to armed intervention, evaluated unilaterally, is a recipe for international violence and chaos.

I should say, for MORE international violence and chaos.

It's a pretty sad day when Putin is giving the US lessons on sensible approaches to international relations.

It now a little over ten months since Riverbend last posted on her site.

I would be interested to hear her sensible views on Returning, Options for not returning, Opportunities for Refugees who can't return.
