The Kashmir issue generates far more terrorism, and even the threat of nuclear war, than Iraq ever did."<BR/><BR/>Indeed, the Kashmir issue does serve as rationale for a great deal of terrorism. But this doesn't explain why this terrorism and Zawahiri, Pakistani militants and "pan-Islamists'" claims for Kashmir, are LEGITIMATE.<BR/><BR/>Why should Indians reward Pakistani militants by relenting control in Kashmir? Why should Pakistanis be so concerned about Kashmir in the first place?<BR/><BR/>I suppose the answers to these questions would be contingent on what a "final settlement" really looks like.
