TIME TO MOVE AND RENOVATE...

Hey everyone!

No, I am not moving to Nashville or some far off land again! I am finally back to blogging but I am changing my address on the web. Many of you have been on this ride with me as my business has started. My old Anna Carson Photography site is gone now and I am happy to launch my new site. For those of you who are scratching your heads....yes, my old site wasn't THAT old but I am creative and get bored very easily! So go check out my new site AND blog (aka BLOG-site) at www.annacarsonphotography.com. I am still working with my very talented designer and friend Bowin of Blue Bus Cafe in Louisville, KY to get it finished but you can get an idea of how it is going! WOW.

I love weddings.

I had so much fun in Louisville photographing Kat and Drew. The bride was a little traditional....and a lot rock and roll and she was beautiful! Thanks you two for being so great and letting me be a part of your special day! It was a blast getting to know your family and friends! Everyone made me feel like a part of the family...

Well, yesterday was all about sisters and today is about brothers....

These three were a handful and I had a great time getting to know them and hanging at their house for awhile. I managed to get some great pics as I ran in three different directions and getting my workout for the day! Hats off to moms of three boys! Have you ever seen such boyish faces? Too cute! Their mom told me she loves black and white so I did these for her to take a peek of our session.

Sorry it has been awhile....I just returned from my work trip and starting tomorrow will be editing all my sessions for my clients. I hope to be posting regularly this week if I can so be sure to check back!

I have been on facebook for almost two years now and lately I have been finding tons of friends from high school. It has been pretty cool to find different people and see what they are up to these days almost 20 years since we graduated. Can it really be that long? As I was thinking about it all, I remembered I had taken these shots from my daughter Sadie's sophmore year orientation this past August.

When I was in school, I looked at that clock ALL DAY LONG....and so does my daughter I am pretty sure! And the lockers below....I just loved the blue color and had to get the shot. By the way, these were taken with my iPhone and I am perfectly happy as to how they came out after I edited them a bit!

Hey everyone. This is going to be short since I have some time out with friends and my better half to get ready for tonight. I shot this last weekend at church during worship. Michael Boggs (1/4 of the group FFH) was leading worship at our church for the day and I was there taking photos for the website. I will be sending along all my edits to him so that he might be able to use them on his site or something. Pretty cool. He has a great solo album out. E was just as content as he could be for the entire time I was there and clicking...I was tickled to look over at him and he was just gazing everywhere with those amazing eyes! Do I really need to say more? It was a lot of fun and a pleasure to photograph the grandchildren of Elaine. She is on the tennis team I pay with during the week. I got some great shots and thought I would share a few of all three of them today and then a few over the next couple of days I will share some indivudual images. I managed to get several while they were on this white couch...these are a few of my favorites from that spot.

My iTunes: Soul Meets Body by Death Cab for Cutie

What a great Sunday last week! I didn't get to hear much of the sermon because I have been hired to do all the photography for the new church website. It is a vast job and I figure this project will be over several weeks. Seeing how I am so visual, I am thrilled to be a part of putting a face onto Briarlake and what people see on the site. I spent last Sunday morning running all over taking pictures. One thing that I could hear was the music was awesome!

I am loving all the different musicians coming through as we look for a worship leader...the variety has been great and I feel like I get led into all sorts of praise.

I am SUCH a groupie. Shocking, I know.
