I mean, sure, it's <I>possible</I> that he has homicidal fantasies, but unless you're secretly his psychiatrist I doubt you can back that accusation up with anything solid.<BR/><BR/>But back to the point - let's assume for the sake of argument that Ahmadinejad <I>is</I> a crazy loon who wants to kill a lot of people. <BR/><BR/>Well, those who want to deny him an audience on this basis should, as I say, show some basic consistency. That would necessitate, to take just one obvious example, that they oppose President Bush being given a platform to speak with even <I>more</I> vehemence than they do Ahmadinejad. With Bush, we have no need to indulge in dubious armchair psychology, because, unlike Ahmadinejad, he is <I>already</I> responsible for the deaths of over a million people. <BR/><BR/>The fact that most of the people active in opposing Ahmadinejad's Colombia talk actually <I>support</I> President Bush's right to be heard, even to the extent of voting him into office, clearly demonstrates that they don't deserve to be taken seriously.JamieSWhttp://heathlander.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
