I feel we need to stop the partisan hatred and just focus on supporting our new president. I'm no expert on this stuff, but he seems to have a well rounded group of advisors. There will always be idiots in society whose purpose is to ruin anything positive. Forget them! Spend any amount of energy on fanatics and you will become so frustrated, my friend. As for dialogue, I learned a lesson from singer Dionne Warwick (who tried to reach rappers whose lyrics were filled with hatred of women--I've forgotten the term for these people). Anyway, she said "There is very little in life we cannot solve through dialogue". This was refreshing to my ears!

Don't you just love how the same people who a week ago were saying that Obama is an evil radical muslim socialist are now saying what a great and important president he's going to be? I really thought eventually the republicans would reach a point where it wasn't humanly possible to get more vile, but they keep pushing the envelope.

I'm all for drilling in Utah. I'm also all for clean energy like Cape Wind. Unfortunately hypocrites sit on the left and right.

As for Frist, his comments were interesting but that Schiavo thing was a horrible joke. It's a good thing that he and Tom DeLay found different hobbies.
