Jane, I don't disagree with you on the stolen election and I certainly don't mind a rant! The thing is, that election should have been a slam dunk for Gore. The fact that he blew it so spectacularly to make it close enough for the Florida debacle to happen is what infuriates me. He all but told the liberal base that we might as well just go ahead and vote for Nader and then he twisted the knife by having republican lite Lieberman as his running mate. I wonder if he ever wanted to win in the first place or if he just wanted the publicity that he never got being VP.

Wally, I'm not one to hold a son accountable to the sins of the father. George H.W. Bush probably had something to do with the JFK assassination and the Watergate coverup, but his son is a jerkoff all on his own. Same with Al Gore. As for Albert III, wouldn't you be on drugs if Tipper Gore was your mom? You're in your bedroom listening to some music and she's banging on your door "Albert! is that punk rock I hear? I don't approve of that music, and those people all wrote very nasty songs about me. And no Frank Zappa either! Do you hear me Albert???" I'm surprised that kid's not shooting heroin into his eyeballs.

This was an interesting post. Personally, I'm sick & tired of political candidates going for the throat. If they discussed true issues in America today, it wouldn't be a blood bath. The issues we really need addressed, won't be. I doubt they ever will be. These are very rich politicians who get huge benefits from lobbyists & pharma companies.
As for Al Gore, I'm not one to wave a radical flag or yell at a protests, but let's keep it real. Yes, he blew it by not at least getting the Tenn. vote. BUT it wasn't Gore who lost the 2000 election, it was Florida who gave it to Bushie, a Supreme Court, by the way, extremely loyal to Bushie Sr.
Let's at least call a spade a spade. Our government & political system is so corrupt, it isn't even funny. Why is it the news media talks so much about money each candidate raised.
It's broken. Our system is broken. The gap between the affluent & the poor is widening... that's how it is in Mexico. Do we really want to follow in their footsteps?

His Dad Gore Senior was a personal slave of Hammer from occidental petrolatum. the very man who brought asbestos into USA.If you look at books on armand hammer you will see pics of Oxcs board sitting and the Senators they own standing behind them like servants. The Son Al was no different and even Al Gors only son is a drug dealer that was busted on our highways with a 170 vicodins. Of course he fled to a rehab and nothing has been heard since. Of course this poor kid turned out this way His Father was the example.

I watched very closely (I was working at the DNC in 2000) a popular VP of a hugely popular president fumble his way down to cheating distance against a bumbling idiot who has failed in every opportunity that he has had handed to him in his whole life. Hey, not saying you don't have a point, but the man has done a lot to bring what is in potential the most boring topic in the universe into the mainstream of public discourse. He's done a lot more than I will ever do, I'll give him that. We can't blame him just because the idiots voted for their favorite bar-b-que partner rather than their President.

And as for his wife's racist, political romance with Mr. Coors, you know they're going to hell for that one. And you know they'll be forced to hear Wayne Newton for eternity.
