Attempt #2 (this post) is through the normal publishing UI in Blogger via Opera mini. My first attempt was using the Blackberry but that failed miserably.

Anyway, through Opera mini 4 the publishing UI isn't too bad. There is no useful formatting capability and the preview is funky. But, text entry works well enough.

Next, I'll try publishing via email from my blackberry using blogger's mail-to-blogger feature. We'll see how that goes...Jim Andertonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03266309149073344876noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-343948854735526840.post-61980893358229314752008-01-08T09:03:00.000-08:002008-01-08T09:14:27.261-08:00Am I up for a challenge? Heck ya!I've been a developer for 14 years and am always looking out for "what's next." These days I spend most of my working (waking?) hours building custom IBM software-based applications for various companies. I've had a few opportunities over recent years to build mobile applications that run in microbrowsers and also native on Blackberries. I've really enjoyed working with mobile devices and when I "listened" in on the Android announcement I couldn't help but wonder if Google can change the mobile world like they've changed so many other things they've touched.

Then, I saw the Android Developer Challenge and I was inspired. I have a killer idea for an Android app and I'm working feverishly to get a phase I version ready for the March 3, 2008 cutoff.

More to come. Fun times...Jim Andertonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03266309149073344876noreply@blogger.com
