Also, one of my favorite parts of the exhibit was the table of books near the end. I picked up a little green quote book with quotes from Henson and about him, and I sat there and read almost the whole thing. It was great.

lauren -- thanks for your kind words! I would die to see Gypsy, and In the Heights is supposed to be great. I'm also very curious about Passing Strange. I hope you have a blast in NYC!

beth -- isn't MitC a great song? Seriously, send me your address and I'll send you that CD.

andrea -- omg, The Book Thief. I can't remember if I ever wrote about this, but I was talking about it in front of my classmates in a class I was taking last semester, and I started trying to say that Hans and his family weren't villains but just regular people even though their country was on the opposite side of ours, and I got so choked up that I couldn't keep talking or I would burst into tears and so I had to go sit down. And it was very embarrassing. But that is just what that book does to me. Let me know what you think when you're done! That book is in my heart forever.elizahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09115453220972624586noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34014871.post-1484504849471755422008-06-06T08:15:00.000-05:002008-06-06T08:15:00.000-05:00I'm about 1/2 way through The Book Thief right now...I'm about 1/2 way through The Book Thief right now and I NEVER would have heard about it if not for reading your blog.

I am in love with the book so far, but fear a tragic and sad ending.Andreanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34014871.post-80347474035753086302008-06-06T07:45:00.000-05:002008-06-06T07:45:00.000-05:00Thanks for the shout out! I'm so appreciative for all that you've shared over the years.

I even keep thinking of you as I get ready to go to NYC next week for a theatre extravaganza. Your enthusiasm for the good things in life always energize me, and that includes making me remember how much I love being in New York and seeing good shows. I'll share my good energy with you when I'm oggling Patti Lupone in Gypsy, among others.

Have you heard of a new show - In the Heights? I wonder if you wouldn't like it.

Enough babble for now. Thanks for sharing so much. I'm off to check out the band now.Lauren Silversteinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03990340701120101403noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34014871.post-37250105762228109272008-06-05T20:20:00.000-05:002008-06-05T20:20:00.000-05:00Well then I should let you know that I am very exc...Well then I should let you know that I am very excited to go see the Muppet exhibit at LASM this weekend!ladyloohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08330807212127705478noreply@blogger.com
