Myrtle Beach's Neff called in during last month's feature night Thursday to intro his brand new track '4 Tha Hood'. This month Neff returned for a full interview.

During the chat Neff breaks down his grind in The Grand Stand, upcoming projects, and how he was able to build his buzz, gain respect and cross over as a Latino Crunk rapper. Real talk that's a word I'd never heard defined as a style of hip hop: Latino Crunk.

This month's scheduled Interviews: Krave and Neff.
Krave: ATL, GA natives. The r&b trio was on the show last year in July when they were first starting out. Since that time they have been on a consistent grind. Their hard work is finally beginning to pay off. Krave are the newest signees to Akon's Konvict Music record label.

Neff: Last month Myrtle Beach, SC artist Neff called into the show to do an exclusive debut of his brand new track '4 Tha Hood'. This month Neff returns for a full interview to discuss his upcoming projects and why he's one of the most well known artists coming out of the Grand Strand.

Also as with previous months there will be exclusive world wide premieres of tracks from Warren Jae and Mary Liz.

Mary Liz: Let's keep it real; alot of popular singers out right now simply cannot sing--it's all studio magic and tricky. Coming out of Columbia, SC Mary Liz is one singer who uses no vocoders or autotune on her records. She recently released her newest project The Princess Is Here. If you haven't heard it it's definitely a must listen.

So I kept hearing about this singer named Mary Liz from Columbia, SC.

Nothing but good things. Mary Liz herself reached out with her newest project, which is hosted by DJ Frosty of Stupid Dope Moves.

I hate when DJs yell over tracks but beyond that this mixtape is pretty dope.

Mary Liz uses no vococoders or Autotune, which is so common these days even people who can really sing (like gospel group Mary Mary) are using it.

'Space Mountain'--Poe Mack Ft. Angel...

Here's the first leak off of Roanoke, VA's Poe Mack's and his new upcoming album P3. Poe didn't tell me the exact release date but I know it's coming soon.

Poe is also instrumental in starting the VA Strong Arm tour and movement. VA Strong Arm is a multi-city tour that's been hitting VA towns from the mountains to the beach. The next date is Friday November 13 in Roanoke. It's always good to see artists combining movements to make a bigger impact and put on for their state. Roanoke what up.

Charlamagne Tha God Is Good...

When Charlamagne Tha God first announced on Twitter yesterday that he'd been fired from 100.3 FM The Beat in Philly, tons of blogs posted up the story. I fell back from posting something yesterday because but I just knew there had to be a reason/more to the story.

R.E. posted a link to an interview XXL did with Charlamagne yesterday after he got canned. According to the story it seems like Charlamagne is not hurting in any way financially.

And if you haven't heard by now, last week I decided to take a break from 104.5 FM in Fayetteville, NC. Real talk, from personal experience I never knew how fast word travels until I spoke with three different industry folks yesterday who all asked "what's new with the show". No one's hurting over here so all good. Sohipotome 2010 is coming in March and it was necessary to take time to prepare for the 2nd annual event.

Charlamagne said it best: "That’s why you gotta treat these buildings like the Carter, man. You go in, set up shop, do what you gotta do and burn it down when it’s over."
