These pictures were taken early in the morning of August 12, 2008, while I was waiting for my cab to arrive to take me to the airport.
When I turned around to walk back to my building to meet the cab, I saw a shooting star.

Those songs sounded great, though, so I was really hoping to see them on Sunday.
The Whigs came out next. I had listened to their album once and thought it was good. I mostly went to this particular after show for a few reasons.

Yeah, that was taken last year. Apparently I got our wristbands so early this year (today) that the big Lollapalooza balloon wasn't there yet. The structure of the gate was there, but the banners and balloons were not.
I'm still not 100% who all I want to see, which I guess is good. That leaves it a little open for discovery to occur. But somehow I don't feel prepared this year.
