PSYCHOLOGY, PSYCHIATRY COMMENTS

I have been informed by a reputable source (a psychologist) that there seems to be a tendancy for psychiatrists not to make as much use of psychologists as they used to. Would psychologists, patients and others like to comment? Also I was told that the psychiatrists have so many patients that they only give them a short period of attention.
Another psychologist said he believed that too many pills were being prescribed.

IS THERE A NEED FOR CHURCHES TO BE LESS DOGMATIC? IS THERE A MORE WELCOMING TREND TOWARDS THOSE WHO TAKE THE BIBLE LESS LITERALLY?
This and other religious discussions.
It seems to me that there is a trend for churches to accept more the person who does not have a literal belief in the Bible. I for one can point out various texts that I believe are problematic if one has a literal interpretation.
One is the issue of perfection: Matthew 5:48 says: BE PERFECT THEREFORE, AS YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER IS PERFECT.
Matthew 19:21 : IF YOU WANT TO BE PERFECT, GO, SELL YOUR POSSESSIONS ....

homeless

A while ago I spoke to a homeless person who expressed the need for organistion for homeless people so that they could have spokespeople to put forward their needs. It seems to me that they could approach government for land to grow vegetables on and perform other useful functions. In the United States I believe they have a large meeting of hobos every year at a specific venue (see Hobo-wikipedia on the internet). Why not have a meeting of hobos in each city every month or so and have lectures on stokvels and so on for them?
Perhaps hobos in each city could have a blogspot or webpage that would tell of meetings, etc.
