Eleanor and Richard are the envy of many a carrot grower ;-)

We don't have a carrot root fly problem (we have problems aplenty, lol, just not that one) so as I had scrapped Richard last year, I thought I would do another tell and show. He loves the allotment, a lot of learning goes on there. It's our little oasis of peace and tranquillity. Sweetcorn, mangetout, asparagus, parsnips, onions, potatoes, red cabbage, rhubarb, gooseberries, borlotti beans, oh yes, and carrots.

Eleanor says : a scrapbook image I did recently, of Richard and the first few runner beans he'd picked. I found a poem on the net, to use on it, an ode to a runner bean (funny what you find when you go looking, who'd have thought it), and I used the middle verse for the white writing, as it mentions spiralling, (the whole poem is on the
tag hidden under the photo on the actual layout)...

Richard found a moth
, this is an example of my scrapbooking - the page itself is 12 inches by 12, and uses specialist papers, plus ribbons, found objects, journalling, fibres, whatever you like really. Some are really clean and simple, others are more complex. Some are joky and humorous, others profound and personal .

Eleanor I love this scrap booking , it reminds me of lap booking but I know it will appeal a lot more to Lana because she likes to make things look beautiful , calligraphy and a short amout of very nice is better than pages of ordinary for Lana - so this will capture her I'm sure (and me - who's showing who lol )

Here is an action movie from Ann, Joshua and Samuel, it was filmed using a mixture of still camera shots, and video action. The first part of the video, I did the shooting, the second part was the boys... hence the fact that they didn't zoom in and you can, erm, see the ropes...
