On the first trip I netted a double. The following trip I lost one.<br /><br />Then I tried Woking during Feb after the big thaw, I landed two doubles that must hasve been nudging 20, I lost a third. They only wanted mackral!<br /><br />Then we went to Mill Lane, we were told it was'nt a very good Pike water but even so, I netted a low double and lost a second, dad also missed one.<br /><br />Then another trip to River Valley, trying a new bait called Blueys, I landed two low doubles and caught a well sized "Jack". In fact the Jack was landed straight after the second Pike was put back!<br /><br />Our final trip was back to Woking where we blanked but by then they were spawning. Def a season to remember!!!<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/33427741-9123421480793614084?l=www.zen118612.zen.co.uk%2Fblog%2Fblog.html'/></div>Jameshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06537746240903316197noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33427741.post-22893988622229620452009-02-22T13:29:00.001Z2009-02-22T13:29:43.983ZEven bigger pike!Just put back an even bigger pike!<p><p>Kind regards<br>James Ridout<br>Sent from HTC TyTN II pda<p><a href="http://www.m0bov.co.uk">www.m0bov.co.uk</a><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/33427741-2289398862222962045?l=www.zen118612.zen.co.uk%2Fblog%2Fblog.html'/></div>Jameshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06537746240903316197noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33427741.post-64357019290690374432009-02-22T12:48:00.001Z2009-02-22T12:48:09.601ZFirst fish of 2009My first fish of 2009 just had a pike must be over 15lb. I did&#39;nt weigh the<br>fish as it was only a low double and she was very lively on the bank. It<br>was taken on Herring tail on a float ledger setup. I missed a take<br>earlier that day and caught this fish from the very same spot so I think<br>it was the same fish. Unhooking it was&#39;nt much fun with one treble hook<br>in the net and the other in the corner of its mouth lined with rows of<br>razer sharp teeth. In end it put the last treble in the net so I sniped<br>the trace and then put the fish back no prob.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/33427741-2430527666386567015?l=www.zen118612.zen.co.uk%2Fblog%2Fblog.html'/></div>Jameshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06537746240903316197noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33427741.post-1160587956523781152006-10-11T17:31:00.000Z2006-10-11T17:32:36.536ZNot much happeningBeen trying for barbel on Avon and Wey but nothing yet. Had a dreadful time with knot failures due to some faulty hooks cutting into the knotless knot. Lost around two Barbel and a Carp to this. Water levels were ok.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/33427741-115669090587832160?l=www.zen118612.zen.co.uk%2Fblog%2Fblog.html'/></div>Jameshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06537746240903316197noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33427741.post-1156691356710541402005-05-27T15:07:00.000Z2006-08-27T15:12:43.846ZThorpe May 05<a href="http://fp.james02.plus.com/DVC00143.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px;" src="http://fp.james02.plus.com/DVC00143.JPG" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a href="http://fp.james02.plus.com/DVC00144.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px;" src="http://fp.james02.plus.com/DVC00144.JPG" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a href="http://fp.james02.plus.com/DVC00145.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px;" src="http://fp.james02.plus.com/DVC00145.JPG" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a href="http://fp.james02.plus.com/DVC00146.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px;" src="http://fp.james02.plus.com/DVC00146.JPG" border="0" alt="" /></a><br />Pictures from a days fishing in May 05 at a pit near Thorpe.
