Our favorite single-serve blog "SingleServeCoffee.com" recently reviewed the seasonal Perfect Peach K-Cup, and had many great things to say about it!

This coffee starts with a very fruity and fresh nose, followed by a warm light coffee round the mouth feel. The flavor is very peach infused, but the finish is a very non-acid light to medium roast coffee flavor. We can't say enough good things about this coffee, and we highly recommend it.

The taste is earthy and slightly smokey, with a bitter sensation on the back of the tongue, much like a good dark beer.

Review: The Perfect Peach K-Cups from Green Mountain Coffee

I'm tasting the Perfect Peach for the first time this morning, and WOW! When I first heard Green Mountain was introducing a peach-flavored coffee, I was hoping it would be a dark roast (I've tried dark chocolate-covered peaches, and they were divine).

Perfect Peach is a light roasted coffee, but it doesn't disappoint. The aroma is excellent, strong and sweet -- a very pleasing note. Sips of the coffee without additives (cream/sugar) show a lighter peach flavor in the coffee itself (which I suppose is good - would hate to have peach-overload, if that's even possible... I love anything peach, and even wear peach deodorant).

"Deliciously refreshing. Bursting with the flavors of a ripe, juicy peach.

This is my new favorite seasonal coffee (even beating out Island Coconut, which I am a huge fan of). I'll be tasting Summer Safari Blend this afternoon, and will be sure to keep you posted on my findings ;) Until then, *slurp* life is good!

We're a little late on getting this week's Thursday Mug Shot up, but here it is!

A "concept" mug (has not been invented, yet) that is as cute as can be, though not too realistic. I'm a pretty big klutz (as any CG employee can attest to), and would probably spill my coffee and ruin this cute CD player in one day.

Essentially a portable CD player and speakers squeezed into a saucer, the best part is that you can "dock" your cup and twist it to control the volume.

Thursday Mug Shot: Crossword Mug

Normally it would be considered rather optimistic to begin a crossword with a marker pen, but here it seems rather necessary, unless you like the fingers-down-a-blackboard sensation of writing on china with a pencil (even thinking about it makes us uncomfortable). Luckily the marker can be very easily wiped off, meaning you don't have to fork out for a new mug every time you make a mistake. For someone whose perfect day starts with a mug of tea and the morning crossword we can think of no better mug.

I have never been able to finish a crossword puzzle (without at least a little cheating), so having the same puzzle to work each day may just give me the time needed to get crackin'... so long as it comes with an answer booklet. For those who are more "dictionally inclined" the seller offers this advice:

The clues on the back of the mug are challenging but if you don't want to conform to our autocratic system of crossword puzzling you don't have to - the blank crossword can be filled in with whatever tickles your fancy, be it covert communication across the desk with your colleagues or just whatever it is that happens to be floating through your brain at that moment.

RECIPE: Chocolate Coffee Kiss

3/4oz coffee liqueur
3/4oz Irish cream liqueur
1/2oz creme de cacao liqueur
1 tsp brandy-based orange liqueur (such as Grand Marnier®)
1 cup hot brewed coffee
2 Tbsp whipped cream
1-1/2oz chocolate syrup
1 maraschino cherry

In a coffee mug, combine coffee liqueur, Irish cream, creme de cacao and Grand Marnier. Fill mug with hot coffee. Top with a dollop of whipped cream, drizzle with chocolate syrup and garnish with a maraschino cherry.
