Part of me feels bad for these poor blind ravers, but the other part of me feels that they got what they deserve..because raves are wack.

"Dozens of young revellers were blinded by a laser show at a dance music festival near Moscow last week and doctors fear the damage may be irreparable, the Kommersant daily has reported.

'More than 30 people between the ages of 16 and 30 have ended up in hospitals in the capital with the same diagnosis - damaged retinas - since July 7,' the report said, quoting doctors.

One doctor told Kommersant: 'All of them have burnt retinas, you can see scars on them. The loss of eyesight in some cases is up to 80 per cent and it's unlikely it can ever be restored.'

Festival goers being treated in hospital said they were blinded when lasers intended to light up the night sky were trained on dancers.

'I immediately saw a black spot like the kind you get when you look at the sun,' said one of the patients.

'I didn’t give it much thought it worked for two days and thought it would go away by itself (but) on the third day, I decided to stop into the hospital on my way to work.'

'They looked at me, asked if I had been at the open-air concert and admitted me without even letting me go home for my things.'

The Aquamarine festival took place near the town of Vladimir, some 170km east of Moscow. "

I heard a remix by these guys a while back, but it wasn't until I heard some of their own stuff that I realized how good they were. They utilize the synth to the maximum and feature that soft, almost angelic but not quite, new wave sound that was lost long ago in Hermann Hesse's basement. Their probably most well known for their remix of Hail Social's track Heaven, but my personal favorite is a remix by Grum of their track 'A Night Ride With You.' Keep your eyes out for their EP which is said to be released sometime in September.
