New Apartments

Here are some new apartments being built, as you can see the two lowest floors are garage for the cars, on top are grass and trees. When you walk from the back you would not know that under the greenery there are two floors with cars.

Here it used to be a bicycle shop, and as you know I posted a picture of the big hole in back of this. Now the ground floor is ready to be home for another business. I wish whoever all the best in the years to come.

Xmas Tree

Xmas tree in front of the Cathedral, yes it is this time of the year. In Norway it is called Jol and in old days they celebrated that the sun turned/was born again and good food and drink was the joy to lift the spirit and await warmer and sunnier days.

These two pictures are painted in plain view in center of town. "Balloon Heads" I would have called them. They are kind of attractive though, much more so than all the ugly scribbeling some do.

Yellow House

On Wednesday I showed the sister house of this in rehabilitation. Here you see how nice it will be when finished.

Rebuilding

This house look VERY scruffy, but they have laid a new roof and slowly will rebuild it. The neighbour house is exactly the same, already fixed up. I will take a photo and show you how this house will look like with labour and money.

Shops

Here we have three very nice shops; Kids, Europris and ICA, near Kjelvene, just east of the skatepark.
Kids for bedsheets, curtains, pillows and everything soft in between.
Europris for "everything" cheap, I don't even know how to begin.
ICA is food, and so much nice food of all kinds, even fresh.

Apartment Series # 36

This is a new block in Storhaug - Kjelvene area. It has many apartments and some is divided into two, so if you don't need much space you can hire out a part, and both have bathroom.

Ramsvik Kolonihager

The small houses on their small plots look so cute. I would also like to get a litle plot and house in the future. They grow, flowers, fruits and vegetables just for fun. I like it, and on Sundays there is a café open for waffles and hot drinks in the summer half of the year.
