Other Mac mini configurations are also offered at The Apple Store for similarly cheap prices, though their prices remained unchanged as of this writing.

These are easily the lowest prices we've found on any refurbished Mac mini boasting this level of performance.

The 2.26GHz Mac mini with 1GB of RAM and a 120GB hard drive saw a price decrease of $200. Originally priced at $649, this model is now being offered at $449.

Additionally, the 2.26GHz model with 2GB of RAM and 320GB hard drive was reduced from $799 to $599.

Both models come with an 8x double-layer SuperDrive, NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics and a full one-year warranty from Apple.

Unfortunately, with prices these cheap, refurbished Mac minis don't last long. Consistently, once Mac minis are added to the Special Deals section of The Apple Store, they are quickly purchased and the supply is depleted within an hour. To test your luck, visit The Apple Store's Mac mini page frequently.

All Apple Certified Refurbished products are covered by Apple's One-Year Limited Warranty. Extended warranty coverage is also available.

Toys "R" Us Discounts iPod Nano by $25, Throws in $10 Gift Card

November 23, 2009 – Toys "R" Us today announced a one-day sale on the iPod Nano. The Apple Online Store this morning announced their one-day "TGI Friday. Especially this Friday" shopping event. The shopping event coincides with the nation's largest shopping day, commonly known as "Black Friday". This year, Black Friday will be on November 27th.

The announcement alludes to sales on iPod, iPhone and Mac gift ideas, and boasts free shipping on all orders.

Historically, discounts from Apple on Black Friday have been primarily focused towards accessories and low-cost Apple gear (less than $200). Apple would break form if it allowed significant deals on big-dollar items like desktop Macs and laptops. Luckily, we won't have to wait for long to find out what this sale will bring. Both 16GB and 32GB reconditioned models are now available for $50 cheaper than their shiny-new counterparts.

Prior to this announcement, common knowledge throughout the Apple online community recognized that previous-generation 3G models were available for an amazingly cheap $49 -- the 16GB 3G model being only $99.

With today's announcement, however, iPhone-seeking fanatics are no longer required to settle for yesteryear's technology. They can enjoy all the enhancements of the 3GS model, while saving pennies for the upcoming Christmas shopping season.

Currently, the refurbished vs. new iPhone breakdown is as follows:

A prior-generation, new 8GB iPhone G3 is currently available for $99. However, the refurbished version of the same nets a whopping 50% discount -- available for only $49. Now that's a cheap iPhone, no question.

A reconditioned 16GB iPhone 3G is also available for $100.

New 16GB and 32GB 3GS models remain at their current AT&T-subsidized price of $199 and $299 respectively. Refurbished versions are substantially cheaper as well, and can be had for $149 for the 16GB version and $249 for the 32GB model.

Refurbished iPhones are only available from AT&T and, incidentally, are not available from the refurbished section of The Apple Store.

AT&T requires a two-year contract and new activation in order to purchase these iPhones at these cheap prices.

For more information, please visit the iPhone page at the AT&T Wireless website.

Refurbished iPod Classic Gets $10 Price Drop

November 10, 2009 – Not a huge day for news on the Apple discounts front, though one item in particular did stand out this morning. The refurbished 120GB iPod Classic saw a slight price reduction from $199 to $189.

The 120GB iPod Classic was replaced by the 7th generation 160GB model in mid-October and is consequently no longer available as a new purchase from the Apple Online Store (it is currently available from Amazon.com for $226 however).

The refurbished version, which comes with Apple's standard one-year warranty, is 15% cheaper than Amazon's price and can be purchased from Apple's online store for $189. Big discounts. Huge savings, so they say...

Today, Steve Becker of TheMacBundles joins the mix with his introduction of twelve applications at one low price. The TheMacBundles collection is comprised of a wide variety of apps and utilities, seeking to address a vast span of functional, social and culinary (yes, I said "culinary") needs. Priced at $49.95, user will recognize a savings over over $300 verses buying all of these applications individually.

Of course, the big looming question is, "Just how many of these apps do I *actually* want?!?"

Only you can tell, so definitely go check for yourself. Some of the favs on our end include:

Yummy FTP:
Touted as the "fastest and most powerful Mac FTP / SFTP client available", Yummy FTP boasts some cool features like directory synchronization, scheduling, auto-uploads, bandwidth throttling, and more. Originally listed at $28 -- now on sale for $4.17

Simon:
The essential site monitoring tool for Mac OS X. Simon checks servers for changes or failures, and notifies you via e-mail, sound, speech, Twitter, or other means. You can use it to track updated sites, and to alert you when an important server goes down or recovers. Regularly priced at $30 -- now available in this discount bundle for a few cents over $4.

PDFClerk Pro:
A powerful PDF manipulation program, PDFClerk Pro allows you to join PDF documents together, split even and odd pages, add/delete pages, rotate pages, add text, add graphics, create impositions, and more. Recognize a savings of almost 90%, as this application typically goes for $40.

A-Dock X:
Adding a secondary Dock to your screen, A-Dock X is highly customizable and offers cool features like skinning, built-in separators, and desktop trash. Also includes 10-level deep folder browsing, customizable hotkeys, and more. Purchasers of this bundled package would save over $6 on this app.

TheMacBundles released their first bundle in June of 2009 and have released a new bundle each month ever since.

A respectable mission, TheMacBundles seeks to provide high-quality, but lesser-known, titles to large audiences. Each bundle is offered for only a short time -- usually two to three weeks.

If you are a developer of high quality software and would like to have your program either included in a bundle or as a weekly special on TheMacBundles.com, pleas visit TheMacBundles website to submit your request.

Software Developers Unite in Offering 20% "One Finger" Discount

November 7, 2009 — With more participants added daily, over 64 Mac OS software developers have joined the One Finger Discount bandwagon and are now offering their titles at 20% off.

The One Finger Discount website showcases the ongoing list of developers while reminding us that coupon code "OneFingerDiscount" is required to get the price breaks.

There are some great titles in there -- highlights include the huge library of fantastic games from Red Marble Games, Karelia Software's "Sandvox", "ColorSchemer Studio" and many, many others.

This promotion will end on Friday, November 13th.

Organizer of the promotion, Daniel Jalkut, is currently accepting all submitted applications from developers interested in adding their titles to the discount promotion, provided they meet the guidelines of the promotion description. These discounts, likely motivated by the upcoming back-to-school season, will be a blessing to students looking for a great discount on some quality gear.

The refurbished aluminum 2.0GHz Macbook with 128GB solid-state drive and 2GB of ram, was discounted $100. New price is $1199 (marked down from $1299).

For only $100 more, your student can purchase the much faster 2.4GHz aluminum (2GB of RAM, 128GB solid-state storage) MacBook. Current price is now $1299, marked down from $1449. The model has been factory-refubished by Apple.

Both units come with Apple's one-year warranty. All Apple Certified Refurbished products are covered by Apple's One-Year Limited Warranty (extended warranty coverage is also available).

Just in Time For School, Lowered Pricing on MacBook and MacBook Air

Apple Inc. today dropped prices on certified, refurbished MacBook and MacBook Air laptops. The MacBook, commonly known for its strong presence among students in the school educational realm, saw the greatest price reductions. Conversely, the MacBook Air, a novelty product with great sex appeal but of questionable utility due to Apple's purposeful omission of a removable storage drive, saw minimal price drops.

Updated pricing on these reconditioned laptops are as follows:

The refurbished aluminum 2.0GHz MacBook with 2GB of RAM and 128GB solid-state storage, previously priced at $1299, is now available for $1199. It's speedier cousin, the 2.4GHz refurbished MacBook (2GB/128GB solid-state) was reduced from $1449 to $1299. Again, both of these units are fantastic options for students looking for that perfect laptop solution -- just in time for school! Can someone say "back-to-school sale"?!?

Three MacBook Air configurations were discounted today as well -- all pricing represents units that have been refurbished or reconditioned, and then quality-assurance certified by Apple. Previously priced at $1199, the 1.6GHz MacBook Air (2GB/64GB solid-state) is now available for $1149. A faster 1.8GHz configuration was discounted $100 and is now priced at $1199. Meanwhile, the speedier refurbished 1.86 MacBook Air (2GB/120GB) was taken from $1299 down to $1249.

As a reminder, all Apple Certified Refurbished products are covered by Apple's One-Year Limited Warranty. Possibly making way for a new line of small, lightweight laptops, Apple reduced prices even lower than before (up to $100 in some instances) on products already consider by most as "rock bottom cheap".

Here are the details:

Two MacBooks saw price cuts: The 2.0GHz 2GB/160GB aluminum MacBook with SuperDrive, previously listed at $949, was discounted by $50 to $899. Additionally, the 2.4GHz 2GB/250GB aluminum MacBook with SuperDrive was marked down from $1099 to $999, a $100 savings over an already very cheap price. These are easily the best prices we've seen on MacBooks, and represent perfect timing for students looking to get prepared for the start of school!

The MacBook Air, considered by many as the sexy, red-headed MacBook stepchild for its aesthetic appeal but limited utility, saw a price reduction of $100. Specifically, the 1.8GHz 2GB/120GB (solid-state) MacBook Air, previously priced at $1449, was discounted to $1349. With a price this cheap, the MacBook Air is definitely starting to become quite a good value.

Not to be forgotten, the professional-grade MacBook Pro saw discounts in two of its refurbished models. The 15-inch 2.4GHz 2GB/250GB MacBook Pro with SuperDrive was discounted $50 -- from $1349 reduced down to $1299. Additionally, the 15-inch 2.66GHz 4GB/320GB MacBook Pro with SuperDrive was marked down from $1699 to $1599. Further price cuts on two already highly discounted products. Wow.

Last, the 24-inch refurbished LED Cinema Display was marked down $100. Previously priced at $699, this highly rated display can be purchased from The Apple Store Special Deals section for a staggering $599!

As a reminder, all Apple Certified Refurbished products are covered by Apple's One-Year Limited Warranty. Problem is, we also want quality, longevity and durability. Truth is, many of the Macintosh computer bargains out there are for used or near-decrepit Apple products.

Let me be the first to introduce you to a bargain-basement goldmine. Unknown to many, Apple, Inc. offers factory-reconditioned products at dirt-cheap, bargain prices. The best part: when you buy factory-reconditioned, you get the same warranty as if you were buying new. That’s right – each discounted Macintosh computer (and other Apple gear, including iPods and MacBooks) comes with a full one-year warranty.

What are you waiting for?!? Visit Apple-Discounts.com now!

Apple Drops Pricing on Refurbished Shuffle

Today Apple lowered pricing on 1GB refurbished iPod Shuffles. It seems people everywhere are continually searching for the best deals in Apple gear. Unknown to many, Apple has a systematic program that certifies returned gear (sold for new, and then returned shortly thereafter for various reasons) subject to incredibly high and stringent standards. Technically, this is simply refurbished equipment; however, given Apple’s impeccable certification standards, this certified gear is nearly good-as-new.

In the past, people have avoided purchasing refurbished gear -- and for good reason. Apple’s certification program, however, has alleviated buyer concerns of supposedly “new” equipment immediately breaking down or being subject to premature wear. Buyers can now purchase with comfort while recognizing huge savings on otherwise-expensive gear.

Discounts on refurbished Macs range from 30% to 60%. Discounts on refurbished Apple laptops are similarly breathtaking. Refurbished iPods go for as low as $29 – amazing! Even better, all certified Apple gear comes with a full one-year warranty -- the exact same warranty you get when you pay full price for new Apple equipment.

One site in particular has risen above the rest in terms of providing the largest discounts on refurbished Macs and other Apple-certified equipment. Apple-Discounts.com catalogs and presents Apple.com bargains daily and presents them in an updated, clean-cut and concise format. The discounts are huge, and the convenience stands unrivaled.

Click here to view current discounts on refurbished Macs and other Apple-certified gear.

Cheap Apple Laptops

Finding a great deal on Apple laptops these days is like finding a Cabbage Patch Doll in the year 1984 – next to impossible. Laptops have become so ubiquitous and widespread that they have nearly replaced all desktops everywhere. Given the universal availability and interest in Apple laptops, it makes perfect sense that people would be constantly searching for the ultimate Holy Grail in technological gadgetry – cheap Apple laptops.

Given the Apple-enforced price regulation and outright popularity of these portable computing devices, there remains little room for merchandisers to provide significant discounts on Apple laptops. Of course, Ebay always remains an option – though most cheap Apple laptops there are usually previously used units – warranty already expired. Not desirable.

Unknown to most, Apple sponsors a self-certification program – a program where Apple takes recently returned laptops, brings them back to top-notch, first-rate quality and sells them as refurbished or “Apple-certified” equipment. What’s best about this program is the warranty Apple includes with the purchase of these units – it’s identical to the warranty you get when you buy new!

That said, it seems obvious that the best place to go shopping for cheap Apple laptops is from Apple’s own certified-laptop program. One site in particular, Apple-Discounts.com, catalogs and displays these discounts daily – very convenient, extremely useful. And the savings are remarkable.

What’s the typical discount over buying a brand new laptop? Usually around 30%-40%, if not more. And don’t forget about the one-year warranty. Amazing.

Visit Apple-Discounts.com now to view current discounts on cheap Apple laptops.

Where to Buy Mac Computers

Historically speaking, buying a Macintosh computer has always been something akin to buying that one-of-a-kind flavor ice cream -- only available at one exclusive store, can’t be found anywhere else, and is totally worth the journey. Prior to the internet, buying a Mac computer could only be done at an Apple-approved dealer. There was no CompUSA, BestBuy or CircuitCity – it was all about the ma-and-pa shop, and it made for some pretty damn fun shopping.

Enter the internet, and suddenly we’re spoiled – immediate access to nearly everything under the sun. Suddenly, buying that tricked-out Macintosh is a six-minute endeavor. Quick, to-the-point, done.

Availability, inventory and supply are no longer in the equation. Pretty much anything you want is available for immediate purchase. The real question has become, where can I find it for the cheapest price?

Of course, the brick-and-mortar stores are there – and Apple certainly has a grand and noble presence in that space. Other common sources include CompUSA, BestBuy, and a small handful of ma-and-pa Apple dealers.

Those stores are nice – and the ability to touch and feel the equipment certainly makes the visit worthwhile, but when it comes to price, you’re going to pay top dollar. So the question begs, where to buy Mac computers?

Our ongoing web-based research continuously surfaces one online store in particular. Apple-Discounts.com excels at providing the best discounts on Apple-certified gear. Inventory is updated daily, so nearly everything is available – and the prices are consistently 30%-40 cheaper than retail.

Check it: Where to Buy Mac Computers.
