All financial arrangements are between tutor and student (one cannot tutor for the a course they are teaching). If you are interested in being a tutor, please send an e-mail address to Dr. Nagle at dnagle@ou.edu and indicate whether you are willing to have your information posted on the course web-site.

GRADUATE STUDENT EVALUATION: The annual Spring Graduate Student Evaluation is coming up soon. If you were instructed by the Retention Committee last Spring to fulfill a requirement, you should take care of it as quickly as possible. You don’t want an “Unsatisfactory” result—three “U” and you’re out of the degree program!

The game marks OU's seventh BCS bowl and fourth national title game in nine seasons.

Football Game: Yahoo!! The Big 12 South Champions OU Sooners and the Missouri Tigers meet for the second straight year in the conference title game this Saturday night at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. ABC has the national broadcast beginning at 7 p.m. (CT). Traffic is heavy and slow with limited parking, so you need to head for the stadium as early as you can if you are going to the game!
You bet we deserve to go to the Big 12 Championship (not Texas): OU had a stronger schedule, defeating four teams currently ranked in the BCS top 25--Texas only beat three. In those games, OU outscored opponents by an average of 21 points per game--Texas outscored its quality opponents by 8.25 points per game. The Sooners and Longhorns also played five common opponents: Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Baylor, Kansas and Texas A&M. OU played three of those games on the road and two at home, while Texas was the opposite. In those five contests, the Sooners outscored their opponents by a total of 148 points, while Texas outscored the same opponents by a total of 90 points. No doubt about it, we deserve to go!

Graduate Assistantship Up-date Form: Due Friday, Nov. 7, 2008 -- Ask your major professor what your status will be. Please complete the form (not sending a statement) and submit it as soon as you can no later than the due date.
Annual Benefits Enrollment: For the 2009 Plan Year, the enrollment runs November 4th through midnight November 16th. Enrollment letters have been sent to all benefits eligible employees, and should receive the letter through campus mail by Friday, October 31st. If you are eligible and haven't received your letter by Friday, October 31^st, contact the Benefits Office at ohr@ou.edu.
Football Game: OU Sooners will be hosting the Nebraska Cornhuskers this Saturday, November 1^st at the Owen Field. The game kick off will be at 7:00 p.m. (CT) and will be televised by ESPN (Ch. 29).

Football Game: The top-ranked Sooners and No. 5 Texas Longhorns square off at 11 a.m. Saturday in front of 92,000 at Cotton Bowl Stadium in Dallas. The game will be televised nationally by ABC (Channel 5 in Oklahoma City). Bevo Burger feed today-- Noon to 2pm on the South Oval.. It is free for students, but $2 for Faculty and Staff.

As part of University College’s Student Success Series, Doug Gaffin and Mariëlle Hoefnagels will present their "How to study for the sciences" seminar on Wednesday, October 1 from 4:30 to 5:30 pm in Dale Hall Room 211. The seminar is free, and students in any science course are welcome to participate. Please announce to your classes.
