Happy 4th of July!

On Saturday morning we headed up to Springdale to see the Parade...both the kids had a great time and Jordan LOVED seeing all the horses!!!

That evening we went over to BJ's parents house and cooked out with them and his aunts and several cousins. Everyone had a good time and we enjoyed good company!!

Busy Week!!

So I tried the new "post from e mail" feature that blogger has. I don't like it. It worked, it posted my photos, all 14 of them in one swoop, but it uploaded them in SMALL format and did not center them, which LARGE and CENTERED are my saved preferences. So that annoyed me. Guess I won't be doing that again. Too bad. Sounds like a faster way to do things. All Well.

SO, this week was pretty full of stuff!! BJ started his second class, so he is gone the better part of the day....but we still stayed busy!

Here are some pictures of J swimming. Haven't gotten any of Hayden yet. He has been, but we go a lot while he is napping, so J can splash and play without worrying about hurting him.

She loves to swim! She cracks me up in the water. The girl has got some imagination!

Look at how long her hair is! When you brush it out straight, it is about to her butt!! We're getting it trimmed up tomorrow....I'm nervous!

On Friday, we took a day trip to the Tulsa Zoo! It was a blast!! J talked about it all week, she couldn't wait!!! It was hot hot hot hot, but not as bad as I thought it would be.

Looking at the monkeys...if the animals had a place to be inside, they were inside! They were hot too!

Why is it that deer are so facinating? I mean, living where we do, we see them ALL THE TIME. But every single time, I stop, and look to see them! As if it were the first time I'd ever seen a deer! I was surprised they had them at the zoo...I don't think I've ever seen a deer at a zoo.

Snake! She was excited to see the snakes and spiders at the zoo, because they would be "locked up in boxes!" She's soo funny!

This little boy did great!! He was not one bit fussy the whole time!! He just strolled along and had a ball! I LOVE this picture of him!! Cute rosey cheeks! He even took a nap in the stroller!

I hope everyone is enjoying this CRAZY hot summer. Is anyone else wondering how we are going to survive July and August if we are already dying in June?! Craziness I tell you!

I am having a BLAST of a time off work. The stress relief is enormous and just knowing I'm not going back to that job, makes my time off even sweeter. I am excited to start my new job, but am really loving being at home. I have a couple more weeks left and I'm taking full advantage.

We haven't done much but stay home and work around the house and swim in the pool. We're going to the zoo this Friday, but other than that don't have many plans.

BJ starts his second summer class tomorrow, this one is a live class, so he actually has to drive in for it. Most of his classes are online, so we get used to him being at home! He enjoys live classes though, so this will be good for him!

These photos are just a bunch I cleared off the camera and some I took today...no real reason, just know I needed to blog!

They play pretty good together...she can really get him laughing when she wants to!

He is getting so BIG. He turned 8 months last week and I can hardly believe that he'll be a year before we know it! I am much more emotional this time around, I think because I know he is our last.

He pulls up on anything and everything. He will stand unassisted for several seconds and has taken one step here and there, but he doesn't realize he is doing it.

This little girl is gonna be 3 soon and that just blows my mind. She gets sweeter every day.

She is really gorgeous, and yes, I know I'm biased.

She has recently really taken an interest in "homework." So I bought her some preschool books and she has been working in them. She is so cute and funny. I can't decide if she is going to be right or left handed. She doesn't really have a strong preference to one yet, she uses both still. I think she might go with her left more than her right though. Should be interesting. We are not pushing her in either direction. Just waiting to see what happens. OH and isn't this desk the cutest?! I was just talking about getting her one with BJ's grandparents picked this one up for her, it's precious and perfect for her size!

We got new carpet in the bedrooms last week. We had some damage in J's room and a little in Hayden's from where our air conditioner leaked. So insurance paid for their rooms and we had ours done at the same time. Here is the carpet before......in Jordan's room.

and after...I think it turned out really well. I can't wait to get the laminate hardwood put in the rest of the house this Fall!! I really love the new carpet. If you follow me on Facebook, you know that BJ accidentally spilled about 1/2 a gallon of chocolate brown paint on the new carpet in our bedroom. It was an accident. He was using a drop cloth and he was being careful, but he tripped and knocked it over and off the cloth. He feels bad...I gave him heck over it, but what can ya do?! We had it cleaned yesturday and a LOT of it came up, but no all of it. They are coming back tomorrow to see if they can get any more of it up. If not, we have extra carpet and we'll have it plugged.

I need to get some pictures of the kids playing in the pool. Hayden LOVES the water. Any water, he cries to get into the bathtub sometimes....the boy loves the water! Jordan has always loved the water too, I'm really glad they aren't afraid of it!

Sad Day

Today was a bitter sweet day. It's not my last day, but it was my going away lunch. Because I work with far more people on a daily basis than just the people who work for my agency in my office.....today will be the last time I see most of those people outside my office. At least for a while.

It really hit me today that I'm really leaving this job. I am not going on vacation or maternity leave. I'm leaving. I wont' be back. It's scary.

I know it's for the best. I keep repeating that to myself. ha! But I am very very sad to leave my close friends. I wish I could put into words what this group of people has meant to me over the past 4 years. I cry every time I think about not seeing them and them being a part of my every day life.

I'm feeling a lot of things right now. Mostly I'm afraid of the unknown. I have done this for about 4 years. I'm good at it, I know what I'm doing, people respect me, and my reputation. I can do my job in my sleep. It's not always easy, but I do know what I'm doing.

Starting a new job is scary, working with new people, starting from scratch. It's all daunting and there are a million unknowns. But I know that it is time, I know that God has given me this specific job for a reason and I am really excited about it.

It's just all very bitter sweet for me. Tomorrow is my last full day, half of which will be spent in court and then I will work Thursday morning. I'm taking 1/2 the day off for a personal matter, and then Friday morning I'll make the last drive to headquaters to turn in my car and all my equipment. So basically, I'm mostly done.

I know these friends are life long friends and a new job won't change that--I love you guys. So. So. So. So. Much. This is a million times harder than I thought it would be.

Keep up the good work. I am proud of the work you do. I am proud to have been a small part of it for a small time. I love you all.

I'm setting the dates for these mini sessions!

July 9th and 10th (a Thursday and a Friday).

On Thursday, July 9th, I will be in front of Old Main in Fayeteville on the UofA Campus from 530pm-730pm. I will book in 15 minute incriments. Please e mail me at foshefotos@yahoo.com to select a time slot. First come, first serve.

No wardrobe changes will be allowed, due to time. I will photograph whatever subject you wish me to for 15 minutes. You will not be allowed to go over time, due to the next slot starting immediately after yours. You will still receive all edits and photos on a disc with a copyright release. The price is 20.00.

The only prop I will bring is my chair. Any other "props" you will need to bring yourself. Please remember the time constraints.

On Friday, July 10th, I will be at Harber Meadows in Springdale. Same time. 530pm-730pm This is a BEAUTIFUL location and one of my most favorite places to photograph. I thought doing one in Fay and one in S'dale would give people all over a good opportunity to take advantage.

Get ready, you're gonna blow Diet Dr. Pepper out your nose!

At BJ's school, where he works, the kids were raising money for the library. They had tubs set up for him and for his brother, Tony, who is also an aide there. They were in the library and whoever had the most money in their tub, had to dress up as Hannah Montana for the annual talent show!

BJ won! OH, it was so funny, I laughed so hard I cried! I could barely take photos! They aren't the best because I was just clicking in between laughs, lol!

His brother dressed up as Billy Ray, I didn't get as many as him, bc I had to get back to Hayden, but man was it funny!!!

Hey Ya'll!!!

I'm trying to do better about posting!!

Here's my precious big big boy!!! I swear, he's about to be a teenager already! I think I'm all emotional this time around bc I know he's going to be our last.

He is CONSTANTLY pulling up and trying to stand. I walk into a room and find him like this all the time, I usually grab the camera!! I really think he's doing this early. I mean early for me....Jordan didn't pull up on stuff till almost 9 months old. Then she walked a month later. If he walks next month I'm gonna die.

Oh, excuse my messy house. It's just my life. Let's be real here. ha!

He loves this table! We had it from Jordan and Jordan has loved getting to play on it too, she sings along with the ABC's and it's quite humorous!

And my girl....with pizza on her face...just keepin' in real for ya'll!! Isn't she beautiful! I love her so much. More and more every day. How is that possible?

He always tries to stand up from a sitting position. He just wants up and he wants up NOW. He's so funny. He has finally learned he must crawl to something to pull up on.

They love each other!!

I love his legs in this picture, he's very limber and will twist his little body in whatever way he needs to do get where he wants to go!

I have 8.5 days of work left. Not that I'm counting or anything, ha! I'm really looking forward to it, but as the day approaches I get more emotional about leaving. It's bitter sweet.

We're enjoying the weather here, working on projects around the house. We have a list about a mile long of things to get done this summer. First up is the porch...we opened it up tonight and it looks so much better!! We just have so much more room. The pool is up and we are ready for back porchin' time! BJ's summer classes are in full swing. He's got one already going on and another that starts in July.

We're planning a short getaway here in a couple weeks, nothing spectacular, but going to enjoy a couple nights away in Branson...should be fun.

UM...nothing else is really going on. I'm just wrapping up my cases and getting ready for some time off. Jordan is still doing gymnastics and loving it. We're all just doing great!

Too Funny!!!

One of the cool things about my kids being born in the same month, is I can look back and see what J was doing at this time and they were the same age in the same month...for the most part. Hayden has done some things earlier than J and some things later than J, but they are pretty close.

This was the ONLY time that Jordan ever fell asleep anywhere but her bed or our arms...until last summer when she fell asleep in a wagon. Those are the only 2 times in her life! This is the only time so far that Hayden has fallen asleep anywhere other than bed, or our arms. I wasn't home when Hayden did it and BJ took this picture and couldn't wait to show me! He knew I'd love comparing it to Jordans!

Summer is here!!!

I'm SOOO excited that the warm weather is here to stay!! We've enjoyed a weekend FULL of outdoor time and it was great!! Now, I just can't wait for my vacation to enjoy it even more!

I've been really slacking on taking photos so I am trying hard to step it up!!

Look at Mr. Hayden, isn't he just so cute! I am loving this stage for him, he is SO precious and SO loving!!! He crawls over to me and pulls up on my leg for me to hold him and it just melts my heart!!

We had our friend Claudia and her daughter Jaycee here for the weekend and we had a blast!! Jordan and Jaycee had fun splashing around in this little pool!! We got the big pool up last night and can't wait to try it out this year!

I tried to sell this little kitchen in the yard sale and it didn't sell, so I think it's gonna be an outside toy, (she has a nicer one inside) she likes it already!

If you've been reading my blog for a while you know I've been on the job hunt for a little over a year. I've been patient, looking and waiting for something wonderful, something I REALLY wanted, something God really wanted me to do. I thought I had found that a couple of times, but I didn't. I just kept praying that God would send me something Amazing!

Well, He came through. Doesn't He always?! I've known for about a month that it was going to happen, but it wasn't official until today.

I have accepted a position with CASA. I'm very excited. If you haven't heard of them, click on the link and read a little about them. They're a non-profit organization that does great work with children who are in the juvenile court system.

I'll be supervising advocates in Washington and Madison County, but mostly Washington. It's a step up in every way and I can't wait to start. I'm taking a nice, almost month long break off between the 2 jobs, because it's not like I just got off maternity leave, or anything, ha!! So that is going to be NICE!!!

I can't wait!

I have about 3.5 weeks left of my current job and then I'll be off for almost a month, when I plan to REST UP and RELAX with my kids and husband who will be on summer break!!

Wanna know the best part?!

I NEVER HAVE TO BE ON CALL AGAIN!!!

Hey Ya'll!

So I've decided my life is too boring for a blog.

There is nothing going on with us. I will have some very exciting news to share next week, but I can't say much more than that just yet.

Hayden is teething, and is having a much harder time with it than J did...so he's been pretty puney the last few days. He has one that has come thru but he's working on some more.

He's crawling everywhere and chewing on everything he can get his hands on. He still loves his sister and is very tolerant of her love, as evidenced by the photos below.

Jordan is doing good too and spending most of her afternoons fishing with Grandpa. She caught another BIG fish today, bigger than the first one....this one pulled the pole out of her hands and Grandpa had to step in...I hope to get some pics from Grandma later tonight or tomorrow. She LOVES to fish. I can't wait to take her camping and fishing this summer. We're planning to go in a few weeks.

BJ wrapped up his semester as a student and did very well...he has this summer and the Fall left at NWACC and will start at the UofA in the Spring. The end is near...the end is near! He still has a few weeks left of school for his job, and will enjoy a little bit of a break this summer, which he is really looking forward to.

I have been HORRIBLE about taking photos lately of my own children. I hope to do better soon...I am planning a real shoot with them next week and so that'll be good, they're both due for one. Especially Hayden.

We had some water damage to Jordan and Hayden's carpet a couple weeks ago and so the insurance is going to pay for new carpet in their rooms and we're having our room done at the same time...and have our lamanate flooring picked out for the rest of the house. The carpet will be installed next month and the lamanate will hopefully be installed by the end of the summer. I'm really excited and can't wait for it all to be done!

These photos were taken the other morning so J had not been up long, so she's not dressed and her hair is, well her hair. She is literally all over this boy...usually in a very nice and sweet way. I love that they love each other!

These really don't need an explaination...but Jordan has been spending some time fishing with Grandpa in the late afternoons and she has really been loving it!!

The other day we were driving to grandma's and it was raining and she said "awww...it's raining, now I can't go fishing today!" It was so sad and funny at the same time!

Anyway today they were out fishing and Jordan caught this big fish!! It was so big her pole wouldn't handle it, and Grandpa had to pull it in! Thanks to Grandma for the photos!!

So I set out to change the blog again. I wanted something bright and summer-y. Yah. Didn't work out that way. I'm just not drawn to those colors--so I start working with them and it never looks right and I always revert back to my warm tones. All well. It's my blog, right? I posted some videos below of H in the jumper cracking up...be sure to take a peek, they're short. More photos to come later...just trying to get them all off the camera stuff.....

We're cleaning house this weekend, like major cleaning, pulling out appliances, furniture, shampooing carpet, etc... Our air condictioner leaked last week into J's closet and some of H's room and so we got some insurance money to replace the flooring in both their rooms, so while were at it, we're going to try to get new flooring for the whole house. I'm really excited and I really hope it works out.

Anyway here's a couple shots of my precious chubby cheeked boy!

Jordan got this 4 wheeler from her Mema & Papa for her birthday and she loves it! BJ was out videoing her one day and she did this funny thing, that we thought was just hysterical....

He is getting sooo big!!! It seems like time is going by much faster with Hayden than it did with Jordan. I can't even believe he's 6 month's old. Half way to one year....WOW! I am loving the stage he is at right now, he's so fun and inquisitive. He is a really relaxed baby and almost never cries of fusses. He LOVES to be on the floor...I think that's why he's already trying to crawl. Jordan didn't really care to be in the floor and she didn't crawl til she was 8.5 months old and even then, it wasn't her preferred method of transportation!

I've said before how thankful I am that Jordan loves Hayden and has always been really good with him and it just gets more evident every day how sweet they are together. When I'm getting ready for work in the morning if they're both awake, they usually are playing together somewhere. Here they're in J's room on the floor reading....

She LOVES to read to him. About every morning, if she's awake when I go into get Hayden, she asks to get into the crib with him....and I let her. It's too precious not too. They lay there and she talks to him or reads to him...it's really the most precious thing I've ever seen. I know I'm biased and all but still! She loves her brother!!!

(note the paci in the crib....which he still will not take...but we try from time to time when he wakes up at night to eat...when really I think he just wants to suck, but he won't have it!!!)

She really loves to read him "the sister book" as she calls it!

So Jordan has been in gymnastics for about a month now and she is LOVING it!! I need to take the good camera and get some better pictures, but I always forget it...class is early on Saturday mornings and I'm doing good to get there! ha! But I had the point and shoot with me one day and got a few, not so great ones. But you get the idea.....

Bars are her FAVORITE! I can totally see her on the bars years from now...

We're going to try to enjoy a weekend at home...although it seems we're rarely at home these days. The weather is B-E-A-UTIFIL and we are really enjoying it!! J plays outside almost exclusively these days. That 20.00 swing set is getting a lot of attention!! Best 20.00 I ever spent!!!! ha!

So, after J's bath tonight she wanted to play in the cream! I let her play with a tiny bit in her baths, but not too much because it gets the water all cloudy and yucky. Anyway, before we put her PJ's on I let her "paint" in the cream....she loved it.

I remember doing this as a kid in school....on our desks and I always loved it. She kept wanting to put it on her body and I kept having to remind her not to. I don't know how many times I saw her hold her hands up to her face and then catch herself...she is so sweet!!!

A Pony, Easter, & Bunco!

I'm not going to lie. I've been slacking on the blogging. Not that I could lie, as the evidence is right here on this page. I've just been so busy. You see, it's 4:34AM and this is the only chance I've really had to blog in a while.

I've decided Blogging is a lot of work! If blogger would upload these photos in the order I want them that would help, but whatever. Here I am.

This post is going to be long and stocked full of photos. So if you're not up for it, you might as well wait and come back when you are! :-)

We had a good Easter weekend, packed with fun and family, oh and a flood. It rained SO much on Easter Day! I suppose we'll have a pretty Spring/early Summer when it's all over!

Jordan got a pony!!!! I know, right?!! My mom is all the time getting free horses...this is her 4th free horse. She only has 3 right now, because it's all she has room for, she got rid of one to get this pony for Miss J! Her name was pixie, but mom is going to let J name her before she sends her papers in...and J will be the legal owner of her, how cool is that?!

She hasn't ridden her yet, just because she had just moved her and didn't want to overwhelm her with stress, but soon I'll have some pictures of J on her pony! I think J is going to name her Rosie. Rosie was the horse my mom got rid of and J loved her and she keeps calling her pony Rosie. We'll see.

Traci had a baby girl a few weeks ago and this was the first time we got to love on her!

Please visit the button on the left and pray for a friend of mine's baby boy. He's having some difficulties. I went to high school with his momma and they have two other little ones, so they are undoubtedly stretched at this time. Please pray for Baby B and his family!
