We are excited to announce that Mrs. Terry Jones Brennan will judge all divisions at the 2010 show, the Carriage judge is yet to be determined.

The dates for 2010 are July 1-4th.

The 1st meeting for the 2010 Show Committee will take place on October 21st at 7 PM at Perkins on 394 in St. Louis Park.

As of today, the prize list is off to the printer and I hope to have it posted to the website within the next week. There will be copies available at the convention too for those of you who are NOT on the mailing list. The rest will go in the mail within a few weeks! Work is almost complete on the 2008 Prize List and Schedule

We are frantically working on getting the 2008 Prize List to the printer in time for the 2008 AMHA Convention in Minneapolis this February. We have a whole new format for the book and we are working hard to make it easy to navigate and understand. It will be hitting your mailbox sometime in February and if you are not on the mailing list, you can pick one up at the convention. There is still time to advertise, just contact me at Sarah@thepageantshop.net.

We have added the TBA classes which include many specialty classes that can be added with a sponsorship and guarantee of at least 2 entries. These spots are available on a first come basis, so contact me ASAP if you are interested in adding a TBA class off the list.

Exciting news for 2008

The North Star Morgan Show is excited to announce that we will be hosting a judges school at our 2008 show. This is an incredible honor and we are thrilled to be offered this opportunity!

Here is a small amount of information on judges card requirements. More information can be found at http://www.morganhorse.com/benefits/judging.php.

"If you are an applicant (a person applying for your card), you must attend two AMHA/USEF Judges’ Schools. At one school you must attend all three days, and at the second school you must attend the last two days. You must complete one learner judging experience at an “A” rated all Morgan horse show and you must receive a grade of 85% or better on a written exam."

North Star 2007 is one for the record books

Records were broken at the 2007 show! Record heat, record numbers and record fun! With over 235 horses, this year's North Star was a smashing success.

We were so excited to welcome barns from Illinois, Canada, Kansas, Oklahoma and Indiana, as well as our neighbors in MN, WI, IA and the Dakotas.
Thanks for making the trip, we hope it was worth it and we hope to see you next year.

I will continue to update this blog throughout the year and keep you posted on developments for 2008.
So far, we have the dates of July 3-6th and are excited to welcome Mr. Ken Swanson and Mr. Daryl Hopson as our 2008 judges.

Things are heating up in MN for the 4th of July! The program is off to the printer this week, the parties are coming together and we are hoping for great weather!

It is not too late to order your placard honoring your 50th Anniversary Champion!
