I am a huge fan of trying something new especially when it comes to beverages.
If anyone wants to send me samples please do I will write about them good or bad.

Anyway enough with trying to get some freebies J.

The other day when I was in Cuyahoga Falls I stopped in Krieger’s. They have great produce, but I go there for their Butterfly Pork Chops - That is another post…

When I was there I took the time to look at all the Cool Stuff they have and Great Discounts.

In Krieger’s Juices section I found POM Wonderful's new POM Tea
They come in a hand full of flavors. Yes I bought them all - I liked Peach the best.
The price is pretty steep for bottled Tea $2.99 each for a 14- 16oz bottle.
It would be nice to see them price out at $1.99 or 2 for $3.00. I know wishful thinking.

The kicker is the reusable bottle that is really a glass and I nice one at that.
The Glass reminds me of the glass jelly jars my mom used to get when I was a kid. See Monkey Notions article for more information on the glass.

I reuse the glass everyday... And the marketing works. Everyday someone asks "What is that you’re drinking?".

I would like to try to fine some Creative ways to reuse the glasses.

Over the course of the year if you are a daily drinker that’s 250 to 365 glasses sitting around, or if we could publish a list of all the glass recycling centers maybe that would help.

I was thinking of making a small fish tank.
Any Ideas....

Pros: For fruit juice infused tea it was the most consistent to homemade sun tea w/ real fruit juices added that I have ever had. The idea of reusable packaging is a great idea.

Cons: It is hard to drink and drive. Hey POM a promotional Reusable Plastic or Rubber lid with a straw hole would solve that (let me know if you need any help).

Overall: If you have the money or it’s on sale buy. If you travel by way of mass transit buy. At home make your own tea – At work buy POM Tea.

What would of happen to every person with a Idea? If in the past Centuries they had to Manufacture their own pens and pencils or better yet build their own typewriters?

When is Sling Media or anyone else going to support / creating a Adobe Flash Player for the Blackberry?
having the Adobe Flash Player will solve all of these problems of no or limited media on the Blackberry. Can you say free YouTube.com! Plus someone could make a real nice rss podcast reader or vlog reader IE… rocketboom.com or better yet http://www.zefrank.com/theshow on your blackberry that would be awsome.
THIS PAY TO PLAY FOR EVERY VIDEO WILL NEVER WORK.
I agree with having a closed system (vcast flashcast or flashlite) for premium content, BUT Adobe Flash on the Blackberry opens up somy doors for delevopment. Best example we very one could have a walk around Video phone.

Have you ever had that Great Idea!.... And Life Happened.

Where you’re stuck doing that same thing - Thinking its going to change.

Well I am going to make it Happen. Today I am going to Get Lucky!

This is the start of my Lucky (31st) Year.

First I should explain I DO NOT believe in luck as in I found a $100 bill Hey I’m lucky! Or Boy isn't Richard Branson ,Thomas Edison , Seth Godin , Malcolm Gladwell , Craig Newmark , fill in the blank here _________________, Lucky!

But I do believe in seized opportunities!

Well this is my Opportunity and here is my Great Idea!
This web site your reading Market and Main or http://www.marketandmain.com has been on my mind for years.I have always thought that I would create a location based Community website with it Long before location based sites were the "new buzz word". And this is the beginning of it.

So what makes my Idea a great one?
Have you ever wondered what the business down the road does, or what your Neighbor’s name is?
Are you new in town and want to know where the good spots are or When your Traveling where to get a spot removed from your new shirt?
When is the last time you voted or do really know who is running for your Local elected offices? Do you know if you have a Neighborhood Association or have you ever thought About starting a Neighborhood Association and don't know how?
Have you ever just needed at hand with something or Wish that you could get Some customer service?

So Why do I even care?
We are so busy that we live in these bubbles (Our cars) (Our office) (Our home).

We are disconnected....

And Market and Main is my way of trying to reconnect the disconnect.
How is Market and Main going to do anything? Well I have thought long and hard about that and I have had many fancy Ideas’s.Fear of failure has stopped them all. So I think the best way to start this Community is one relationship at a time.
