Probably due to solar activity such as sun spots and flares combined with eliptical orbits of the planets and other gravitational forces. Our solar system is rotating within a rotating galaxy that is within an expanding universe. What brought us into and then out of multiple Ice ages and periods of time after the ice ages that were hotter than we are now is still not at all understood. It is laughable to think that CO2 is responsible for even miniscule contributions to a man made warming trend. The largest " greenhouse gas" in the atmosphere is Water Vapor. Water vapor dwarfs cfc's, methane and Co2 as a green house gas with the latter gases being fractional by comparison. All together, man's contribution to warming climate trends appears to be highly questionable. However, man has a rich history in 2 areas that are not questionable.

No.1.... A select few always try to gain control of the masses by creating leverage. Men are motivated by greed, vanity, and fear. Fear is a great motivator to relenquish control to something or someone else. During the "Inquisition" the church stated.. If you have a bible in your own language that you can read for yourself you have committed blasphemy and will be excommunicated and burn in hell. Today, If you don't take expensive statin drugs, you'll die of a heart attack. If you don't give up economic viability , control and freedom to governmental power and socialism, the planet will burn up.

No.2.... Throughout man's history the leading authorities and policy makers of the day have consistently been wrong. Authoritarian "scientists" of the day said the earth was the center of the universe. Men were burned at the stake for declaring that the earth revolved around the sun. Furthermore, the earth is not flat. Unless you suffer from hemochromatosis, bleeding you will not make you better.

Historically, the leading minds of the day were wrong, wrong, wrong.

If analysis of sequential scientific data leads to a doomsday conclusion that we are burning up the earth, then that same mathematical algorythmic trend pattern would force us to conclude that our scientific interpretation of today, as in the past, would be wrong, wrong wrong.

I'm more concerned about an American Public that lack the ability to analyze the world around them and lack the discipline for critical thinking. Far too many of us react emotionally instead of thoughtfully. The "Greenhouse Effect" does not seem to be as Ominous for the demise of humanity as does the "Sheep Effect".doc bhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06921703505306247392noreply@blogger.com
