I noticed that local ticket brokers, like Ticket King already have MN Wild Tickets posted for sale. The Wild's schedule is going to be good one with 41 home games at the Xcel Energy Center there are plenty of games to go to.

The home opener will be Tuesday October 6 at 8:00 against the Anaheim Ducks. Wild fans are already gearing up for a big season with new coach Todd Richards and a new lineup without Marian Gaborik

Minnesota Ticket Guyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16263367876698743573noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3220067669627996170.post-10596956046635430512009-07-14T13:16:00.000-07:002009-07-14T13:24:15.976-07:00Minnesota Vikings Season Tickets Mailed TodayI just talked to a buddy of mine who is a season ticket holder for the Minnesota Vikings and he told me he received an email that the season tickets were being dropped into the mail today! I also heard that this years tickets will not be a crappy cardboard sheet like they have been forever, but finally the Vikings are catching up with the times and the season tickets will be sent in books with tear out tickets like the MN Wild do it. With Brett Favre mania getting more and more hype the closer we get to the training camp, it is highly likely that Minnesota Vikings Tickets for the Vikings/Packers game on October 5th is sure to be a total sell out. So unless you are one of the lucky Vikings fans receiving your tickets this week in the mail, I suggest that if you want to see the Vikings (with Favre, hopefully) take on the Pack you better by your tickets soon!

Minnesota Ticket Guyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16263367876698743573noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3220067669627996170.post-29544479294528112802009-07-10T15:05:00.001-07:002009-07-10T15:11:28.520-07:00Vikings vs. 49'ers TicketsI talked to a gal that I have become friends with at Ticket King and she told me that Minnesota Vikings Tickets for the game versus the 49'ers on September 27th are selling super fast and that her boss was considering raising the prices on the game. I am sure the Brett Favre rumor has caused many Vikings fans to jump all over this game. My bet is that this game will totally explode because of the fact that this Vikings game will be Brett Favre's first regular season Vikings Game wearing the purple #4. Buy your tickets now while you can still get lower level seats for around $100/Ticket and upper level seats at $30/Ticket. Minnesota Twins Tickets for the game tomorrow are super inexpensive. Even though there are going to be close to 30,000 fans at the Metrodome, Ticket King is selling lower level seats for less than face value. The best thing about that is you can even pick up your Twins Tickets at their office two blocks from the Dome. Grab you "Homer Hanky" and head down to the Metrodome for some Matinee baseball. GO TWINKIES!!!

Minnesota Ticket Guyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16263367876698743573noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3220067669627996170.post-8727771355321817492009-07-02T09:57:00.000-07:002009-07-02T10:06:23.056-07:00Twins vs Yankees TicketsIt looks as though there is an abundance of Twins vs. Yankees Tickets on the market right now. It is possible to buy Twins Tickets for the series for less than face value right now. Usually, this is a really big ticket. What's up Twins fans? It does appear as though there is still solid demand for really good Twins/Yankees Tickets for the series at the Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As of now, lower level Minnesota Twins Tickets range in price from $19-$199/Ticket. New York Yankees Fans probably can't believe how inexpensive Twins Baseball Tickets are considering what you have to pay at the new Yankees Stadium. GO TWINS!!!

Minnesota Ticket Guyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16263367876698743573noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3220067669627996170.post-38361607009983534882009-06-30T10:22:00.000-07:002009-06-30T14:47:32.393-07:00Soul Asylum Tickets Minnesota Zoo AmphitheatreI checked around and found that there are great bargains to be had on Soul Asylum Tickets for their show at the Minnesota Zoo. This local band that formed in Minneapolis in 1983 generally sells out whenever they play in the Twin Cities but not this time. If you need Minnesota Zoo Tickets for the Soul Asylum show, check out any number of ticket websites - Ticket King has no fees and the best prices for this show at the Minnesota Zoo Amphitheatre! I thought that Twins Tickets for this series were going to be a big deal because the Minnesota Twins are playing the Detroit Tigers who are in first place in the division. I think that the fact that the series lands over fourth of July weekend has hurt the demand. Whatever the reason is, I would wait until the last minute to buy Twins Tickets for this weekend because it appears as though there is an abundance of Minnesota Twins Tickets available and prices should drop. As usual, I found the cheapest prices on Ticket King's website. GO TWINS!!!

Minnesota Ticket Guyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16263367876698743573noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3220067669627996170.post-4571091056958299662009-06-27T10:05:00.000-07:002009-06-27T10:13:46.322-07:00Favre is a VikingI just read on the Ticket King Twitter that they have reliable information regarding Brett Favre becoming a member of the Minnesota Vikings. Ticket King Twittered: HOT RUMOR! - A Ticket King source has told us that Favre has bought a house in Prior Lake, MN - Buy Vikings Tickets now before prices go up!

I would buy Minnesota Vikings Tickets now because I am sure that the Vikings Ticket market will explode. It could get crazy around here if Ticket King's source is correct. I can picture Brett Favre in a #4 Vikings jersey holding the Super Bowl trophy!!! I’m really excited about this because I have been looking for a trustworthy source to buy St. Paul Saints tickets from and I love to support the local guy. The best thing about TicketKing and the Saint Paul Saints is that they have great Saints tickets at just above the face value! I can't wait to go enjoy a little outside baseball and tailgate at Midway Stadium! See ya there!

Minnesota Ticket Guyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16263367876698743573noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3220067669627996170.post-42460467195306674232009-06-22T07:59:00.000-07:002009-06-22T08:04:42.448-07:00Minnesota Wild Tickets Hot Commodity Next YearIt's only been a few days since the Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher, named Minnesota-native Todd Richards as the team's new Head Coach. And already, I've got a great feeling about next season!

Todd Richards previously played collegiately with the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers and spent last season as an Assistant Coach for the San Jose Sharks. In all 13 of his professional seasons as a player, as well as all seven as a Head Coach or Assistant Coach, Todd Richards has made the playoffs. Because the General Manager-Coach relationship is so important in the success of the organization, the Minnesota Wild already have a great advantage next season. Chuck Fletcher was able to hire his own Head Coach and has a proven track record working with Todd Richards. It looks like the Minnesota Wild have the right idea- to hire passionate, experienced people to work off the ice and demand that the players play an aggressive, up-tempo style on the ice.

They're going to be a hard team to play against this season, yet still exciting and entertaining for the fans. I can't wait to watch a faster brand of hockey at the Xcel Energy Center. I'll bet the Minnesota Wild tickets for next season will be one of the hottest commodities around!

Minnesota Ticket Guyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16263367876698743573noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3220067669627996170.post-73114261079047647372009-06-19T07:43:00.000-07:002009-06-19T07:47:21.534-07:00Future of Timberwolves TicketsThere has definitely been a lot going on lately with the Timberwolves—and I completely agree with the decision to ‘clean house’ and basically start over from scratch! To have kept Kevin McHale would have signaled to Timberwolves fans and the Twin Cities in general that the status quo was “OK” and that change is not necessary!

My hope with all this change is to see Minnesota Timberwolves season ticket sales increase! How awesome would it be to attend a T-wolves game to a packed crowd?! And not just when the ‘big wigs’ are in town, but every game, because the Timberwolves are the big wigs! I think the Timberwolves are right on track and that Timberwolves tickets will become a sought after ticket in the next couple of years! I’d buy my Minnesota Timberwolves Season tickets now, while the selection is really good!

Minnesota Ticket Guyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16263367876698743573noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3220067669627996170.post-58258739698613194482009-06-18T14:42:00.000-07:002009-06-18T14:49:22.636-07:00Minnesota Twins Tickets Disappearing FastWow! I can't believe how few tickets there are out there in Ticket Land for the Minnesota Twins Series this weekend against the Houston Astros! There have been a lot more Minnesota Twins tickets available for basically every other series this year than there are now for this weekend’s series!

I wonder why that is….The Minnesota Twins have been out of town for over two weeks, have Minnesota Twins fans just felt neglected after three away series in a row!? Or is the demand up that much just because the series falls on Father’s Day weekend? It seems plausible that a lot of people would buy Minnesota Twins tickets for their father’s for a great Father’s Day gift.

All I know is that if I’m serious about going to any of the games this weekend, I better buy my Twins tickets now if I want to sit anywhere but the "nose-bleed" sections! Anyone else out there thinking of buying Minnesota Twins tickets for this series against the Houston Astros better buy now because I don't think prices are going to drop!

Minnesota Ticket Guyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16263367876698743573noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3220067669627996170.post-4774644178901878482009-06-03T10:45:00.001-07:002009-06-03T11:01:44.925-07:00TCF Bank Stadium TicketsI feel sorry for those of you that haven't a chance to visit the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis and see the new Gophers Football stadium. TCF Bank Stadium looks AWESOME!!! Just seeing TCF Stadium made me wonder how I was going to get Golden Gophers Football Tickets for the inaugural game at the new Golden Gophers Stadium versus Air Force. If that game has even close to the same demand as the first ever Minnesota Wild game at the Xcel Energy Center, I am going to have to shell out some BIG BUCKS if I want Gopher Football Tickets. Oh well, I guess that it is only money and you only live once!

Minnesota Ticket Guyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16263367876698743573noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3220067669627996170.post-25384452730178818852009-05-12T15:41:00.000-07:002009-05-12T16:14:04.661-07:00The Boss Still Has it!Last night I had the opprotunity of a life time. At the very last minute I decided to go to Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band at the Xcel Energy Center. I bought my Brice Springsteen tickets from Ticket King and it just so happened that they were in the best section of the Xcel: 119 row 6 seats 1-3. The view of the stage was absolutely amazing, I will post some pictures below so you can see for yourself. I heard that Xcel Energy Center tickets for this show were easy to find at first, Bruce Springsteen tickets were being sold by Ticket King below face value then all of a sudden at the last minute super great tickets became available. All of the people sitting in front of me got their tickets the day of the show as well.
I bought these Xcel Eneregy Center tickets as a gift for my mom for Mother's Day, and I kept the location of our tickets a secret. When the usher stopped us at the entrance to explain what aisle we were supposed to go down, my mom got a view of the stage and by the time we got to our seats only 6 rows from the stage she was crying she was so happy! It's always a great feeling to do something nice for someone!
As for the show, Bruce and the band played for 3 FULL hours. Normally The Boss plays 3 encores, however, last night he only played 1. I'm not complaining - I heard a lot of songs that I hadn't heard live before like "I'm on Fire" "Rosalita" and "The Ghost of Tom Joad." Another high light for me was seeing the new drummer the E Street Band was trying out: Jay Weinberg, Max Weinberg's son. Jay Weinberg played drums for half the show and then his dad took over; they are trying to get him acquainted with the grueling live show because in August Max has to go back to to the Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien and Jay will have to be the full time drummer. For an 18 year old kid he was phenomonal! I can't wait to see where his drumming skills take him!

See you at the next one, Boss!

Minnesota Ticket Guyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16263367876698743573noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3220067669627996170.post-86822065821781455852009-04-27T19:16:00.000-07:002009-04-27T19:29:34.058-07:00TCF Bank StadiumThe Gophers Football Season Ticket Holders have started to select their Minnesota Golden Gophers Football Tickets for next year's inaugural season at TCF Bank Stadium. It will be interesting to see what the demand is like at an on campus, outdoor and smaller venue like TCF Bank Stadium. My hunch is that Minnesota gopher Football Tickets will be super expensive.

In My opinion, there are three really good Gophers Tickets sites to check on. These sites seem to actually own the Gopher Tickets and not be resellers of the Minnesota Gophers Tickets.

1) Ticket King - www.ticketkingonline.com

2) Gopher Football Tickets - www.gopherfootballtickets.com

3) Ticket King St. Paul - www.ticketkingstpaul.com

I can't wait to watch a college football game outside! I spent a bunch of hours online looking for Packers Tickets and I cam across an excellent site. The website has a Green Bay Packers Schedule as well as really good prices on Green Bay Packer Tickets. I was able to buy two decent seats for $200/Ticket for the game. If you are going to the Packers/Vikings game at Lambeau Field, please come and say HI. I will be sitting in Section 103 Row 41! GO VIKES!!!

Minnesota Ticket Guyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16263367876698743573noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3220067669627996170.post-53527139105965352172009-04-21T18:25:00.000-07:002009-04-21T18:31:07.904-07:00Minnesota Vikings TicketsI found a new online ticket site that has extremely good prices on Minnesota Vikings Tickets. The name of the company is Twin Cities Tickets. It is obviously a locally owned company and it appears as though they own a huge portion of all Vikings Tickets that are currently being offered on websites. The domain name is a little weird but it is worth checking out. Simply go to: www.webtixxs.com

Minnesota Ticket Guyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16263367876698743573noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3220067669627996170.post-69823314958453314872009-04-01T10:31:00.000-07:002009-04-01T10:45:35.917-07:00Vikings Pre Season ScheduleThe Minnesota Vikings just released their 2009 Pre Season opponents and as far as the ticket demand goes, they couldn't be better. The Vikings will host the Dallas Cowboys and the Kansas City Chiefs during the Pre Season at the Metrodome. Both teams have a rabid fan base that is willing to travel. That facto should lead to increased demand for Vikings Tickets to those games. Historically, Pre Season Minnesota Vikings Tickets sell for $5/Ticket. I would be surprised if they are that inexpensive this year. GO VIKES!!!

Minnesota Ticket Guyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16263367876698743573noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3220067669627996170.post-84513514934970157332009-03-31T17:51:00.000-07:002009-03-31T18:03:02.738-07:00Minnesota Twins TicketsIt know that it is hard to believe, but this is the last Minnesota Twins season at the Metrodome. By the sounds of it, there is definitely some level of nostalgia, felt by Twins fans, which has lead to Minnesota Twins Tickets being a super hot commodity. Get this, the Minnesota Twins have sold out the home opener on 4/6/2009 versus the Seattle Mariners. I checked out some of my favorite ticket sites and found that lower level Twins Tickets are selling for between $69 and $199/Ticket. All I can say is WOW!!!

For the record, the Twins play the Mariners the following evening and the same Twins Baseball Tickets range in price from $19 to $79/Ticket. I think that I am going to opt for this game. GO TWINKIES!!!

Minnesota Ticket Guyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16263367876698743573noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3220067669627996170.post-72945975326366036792009-03-04T07:36:00.000-08:002009-03-12T12:19:36.103-07:00Minnesota Timberwolves Make Big Pricing MoveJust days after my last post applauding the Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Wild for the freeze that they put on ticket prices for next year, the Minnesota Timberwolves did one better. On Tuesday, the Minnesota Timberwolves announced that they have slashed the 2009 prices on whole season Minnesota Timberwolves Tickets. Here are some of the highlights for next year:

1) Timberwolves Tickets in the upper level corner in decent rows are only $5/Ticket.

2) Timberwolves Basketball Tickets in the lower level corner are only $15/Ticket.

3) Minnesota Timberwolves Basketball Tickets in the first few rows of the upper level are just $15/Ticket.

You have to hand it to the Timberwolves, they have made a bold statement with their new pricing. No longer will price be a reason for the average fan not to head down to the Target Center for a Timberwolves game. WAY TO GO TIMBERWOLVES!!!

Minnesota Ticket Guyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16263367876698743573noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3220067669627996170.post-57824404862555588462009-03-01T12:36:00.000-08:002009-03-01T12:53:14.175-08:00Local Pro Sports Franchises Finally Get It!For the first time in approximately eight years, both the Minnesota Vikings and the Minnesota Wild have kept their season tickets prices the same as they were last year. It is nice to see that they have both began to understand how tough it is for the average fan to buy season tickets and that it has become even more difficult due the poor economy.

I applaud the Minnesota Vikings for keeping the prices of Vikings tickets the same as last year even though the team did show some improvement by making it to the NFL Playoffs!

I also applaud the Minnesota Wild for not increasing the prices of Wild tickets even though they continue to sell out every game while producing a competitive and quality product!

Maybe the days of greedy Minnesota professional sport franchise owners like Red McCombs are behind us and we can count on the current owners to understand that sporting events are not just a privilege of the rich.

Minnesota Ticket Guyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16263367876698743573noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3220067669627996170.post-25577342126161137962009-01-28T10:07:00.000-08:002009-01-28T10:21:17.068-08:00Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Los Angeles Lakers TicketsIn my last post, I wrote about how inexpensive Minnesota Timberwolves Tickets are at this point of the season. With some further research I found that there is an exception to this. The Timberwolves Tickets for this Friday's game versus Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Tickets are relatively expensive. Ticket King is selling good center court lower level seats for $275/Ticket. Those seats have a face value of $125. That is a pretty good markup!

The only consolation for those of you interested in heading to the Target Center to catch the resurgence of the Minnesota Timberwolves is that this is the only game that has prices like this. Also, keep in mind a few years ago the same Timberwolves Basketball Tickets for the Lakers game sold for closer to $500/Ticket.

I have to admit that I am back on the bandwagon. The Timberwolves rock!!!

Minnesota Ticket Guyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16263367876698743573noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3220067669627996170.post-26691179254820603012009-01-20T17:48:00.000-08:002009-01-20T18:03:46.612-08:00Minnesota Timberwolves Tickets Still InexpensiveEven though the Minnesota Timberwolves are the hottest team in the NBA in 2009, Timberwolves tickets are still super inexpensive. I did some checking on this Friday's Timberwolves vs. Hornets game and it is possible to buy great Minnesota Timberwolves tickets at close to half of the face value. I found four tickets in Section 130 Row 3 which is a VIP seat only three rows off the court for $169/Ticket. The face value on that type of Timberwolves basketball ticket is $260.

It is obvious to me that the Twin Cities sports market has yet to embrace the Minnesota Timberwolves and the recent hot streak that they have been on. I have watched a couple of their recent games on television and I have been impressed with the on court product at the Target Center. I think that it is time for us to all buy cheap Timberwolves tickets and support our local team. Remember, it was less than ten years ago that you couldn't touch a Minnesota Timberwolves ticket at any price. GO WOLVES!!!

Minnesota Ticket Guyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16263367876698743573noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3220067669627996170.post-11261732913760681432009-01-10T10:23:00.000-08:002009-01-10T10:29:40.618-08:00Cheap Minnesota Wild TicketsAnyone interested in checking out the Minnesota Wild at a bargain price is in luck! There are Cheap Wild Tickets available for next Tuesday's game versus the Phoenix Coyotes. It is hard to believe but Wild Tickets for this game are selling for less than face value and I wouldn't be surprised if the prices kept going down. Maybe the Minnesota Wild fans are finally sick of the Marian Gaborik situation and the inability of the Minnesota Wild to take the next step.

Minnesota Ticket Guyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16263367876698743573noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3220067669627996170.post-65270467308672189992008-12-21T10:09:00.000-08:002008-12-21T10:19:04.676-08:00Vikings Ticket Prices SoarFor the first time in many years, Vikings Tickets have gone up in price for a late season game. I got up this morning and went online to hunt down a couple of Minnesota Vikings Tickets for today's game versus the Atlanta Falcons and was amazed to see that the tickets that were selling for $9/Ticket a few weeks ago are now selling for $39/Ticket. This is obviously a case of bandwagon jumping. If the Vikes win, people become fans and buy tickets and if they lose, they watch the games at home. I think that I am going to take my chances and go check out Ticket King on the corner of Washington and Chicago. They always seem to have Cheap Vikings Tickets.

Minnesota Ticket Guyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16263367876698743573noreply@blogger.com0
