But I can't pass up the opportunity to point out that the 'blurb' describing the article uses the phrase "begs the question" incorrectly.
Begging the question means to assume the answer in the question itself (as in "When did you stop beating your wife?") and is not the equivalent of "makes it imperative to ask...".

With Greek heroes and Gods with as many daughters as Alkyonides, spacecrafts and telescopes will have a hard time discovering more and more celestial bodies in order to keep everybody happy.
