If I had one wish for my birthday tomorrow it would be for the chance to meet the "Greatest" Rock & Roll band ever, "Journey". From the early days of MTV watching Journey's world premier video releases to today at the gym working out to Revelation on my Ipod, meeting Neal,Jon,Arnel,Deen and Ross would be an incredible experience one I would never forget. When my wife and I and two boys were in San Francisco walking around, I thought I seen Neal walking down the street. I didn't want to trouble him, so I said nothing. I hope and pray there is someone out there that can make my dream come true. I have listened to this band since the early eighties and having the chance to meet them would be a dream, a wish, a prayer answered.

When preparing a five star meal, the chef must have the perfect ingredients. When creating the perfect Rock & Roll band, one must find great musicians. Journey formed in 1973 from ex Santana band members, it's 2008 and this great band is continuing to release unbelievable albums and pack concert halls all around the world. Neal Schon has been a staple in the band since it's beginning. As a master on guitar since age 10, any band today searching for the ultimate guitarist would strike it rich with a professional like Neal. Ross Valory another original Journey member Ross is a master on the bass guitar, his sound is like no other bass player performing today. Jonathan Cain joined Journey in 1980. His work on "Don't Stop Believing" Escapes mega hit made Jonathan a leader behind the keys all around the world. Deen Castronovo joined Journey in 1998. A Powerhouse drummer Deen also contributes vocals to many hits and sings lead vocal on Mother, Father in concert with Journey. Arnel Pineda Neals recent pick for a new lead singer, Neal could not have picked a better singer for the band. Searching Youtube one night Neal watched video after video of Steve Perry wannabees. After clicking on this cover band "The Zoo" Neal watched Arnel and soon made up his mind and the rest is history. Journey will always be my favorite band they have made me happy ever since the early eighties and it's a "Dream" I have had to be able to shake Neals,Jons,Deens,Arnels and Ross's hand someday. This incredible 5 piece band still tours all over and will continue to release hit after hit for many more years to come, "I hope"...

The Perfect Birthday Wish

What's is a wish ??? to me it's that last thought you have in your head before turning in at night. It's the one wish you would hope someday will happen. My birthday is October 2, I'll be a young 43. I have always wanted to meet Neal Schon and Jonathan Cain and the rest of the greatest Rock band ever "Journey". I know all wishes will never come true, but I hope there is a god out there that can grant this wish for me. Being able to meet them would be an incredible experience I would never forget. I write these blogs at night while at work hoping Neal and the rest of the band will see them while on tour. The perfect Birthday Gift ?? meeting the greatest band of all time...

Journey into my Dream

Ever since I started watching MTV back in the early eighties, I always wondered what it would be like to stand on stage facing thousands of screaming fans. Many bands come and go quickly, but some bands seem to last forever. Journey is the one band that has always kept me happy over the years. When I hear "Stone in Love" I'll always treasure the great times at the Meadowlands "1983" in New Jersey hiding our Budweiser's from the yellow jacket security guards in the parking lot. Journey will always be my all time favorite band. Neal Schon, an incredible guitarist with Jonathan Cain on the piano I can only hope someday I can meet them with the rest of the band. From the 1970's to 2008 the band has had different band members join and depart, but Journey 2008 is sounding more incredible then ever before. With new leed singer Arnel Pineda behind the mic, the popular 80's sound is back and the live show energy as well. I have had a dream of meeting this band for a long time, I hope it's soon before there next incredible album.

It all started back in 1973, the creation of a band "Journey" that's still on tour today 2008. Over 100 million albums sold worldwide with hits such as "Lights" and "Wheel In the Sky" Journey will always be an incredible American Band. Neal Schon, Jonathan Cain, Ross Valory and Deen Castronovo with new leed singer Arnel Pineda keep selling out venues all around the world. With Journeys 1975 first album release to Escape in 1981 to Revelation in 2008, this band still has that great Rock & Roll sound they have had from the groups beginning. It's Neals cool style on guitar to Jonathan's classy style on keys add the power of Deen on drums throw in an unbelievable bass player named Ross Valory and the new voice of Arnel Pineda "the Filipino power house from Manila" and I can assure you this band will continue to make smash hits and pack concert halls for many more years to come. It has been a dream I have had to meet Neal and Jonathan and the rest of the band, I hope and pray someone will read this someday and help me with this dream I have had for a long, long time. Every night when I'm at work I pray an email will show up in my inbox from someone that can help make my wish come true.

Kansas City Missouri get ready for an incredible show. September 15, Monday 8:00pm "Journey" . This is and will be an incredible concert. If I had the money I would jump on a plane and scalp the best seats I could find. Seeing Journey in the eighties more than four times I always had a awsome time at every show, it was like a big party. It's a dream I have had for a long time to meet Neal,Jon,Arnel,Ross and Deen. I hope it happens in the future. Meeting Neal and the band would be the greastest day in my life. I'm not a crazed fan, I'm just a fan that loves great Rock & Roll. If I had a million dollars what would I do with it ??? I had the opportunity a long time ago to live out in Lancaster Pennsylvania . By myself I soon found this incredible night club called the "Chameleon Club" . I would love to have a private party in this club with my favorite band "Journey". Do you think a million dollars can make this dream come true ???? Would Journey play at this incredible night club for a private party ??? I'm 43 years old on October 2, before my time is up I would love to have the chance to meet Neal Schon, Jonathan Cain, Arnel Pineda, Ross Valory and Deen Castronovo. As a fan of this great band for 26 years now is this to much to ask for ??? Will this ever happen ???? I hope there is someone out there that can make this dream I've had for many years come true. If I had the chance to be anywhere in the world on September 5, 2008 "where would I go ??" Toronto Canada "why Toronto" Journey concert. If I never got married, if I was still single with no children, obligations I probably would have one of those Combi vans like the one pictured above. I can see myself now driving from show to show eating at 7/11's all across this great nation and in Canada. I'm sure this show is going to be incredible, I wish, I wish, I wish I was in Toronto oh yeah oh yeah !!! Neal, Deen, Ross, Arnel & Jonathan I hope I can meet you guys in the near future, your an incredible band, you have an "INCREDIBLE" new album, "New LEED SINGER" take care guys and have a safe tour....

Neal Schon, A Fans Wish

Listening to Neal Schon since 1982 I hope in the near future I'll be able to meet my favorite guitarist. I feel Neal Schon is so underrated it makes me mad. Listening to Rock & Roll my whole life you always hear about the greats like Jimmy Hendrix, Jimmy Page and Carlos Santana and Eric Clapton. How come Neal Schon is not talked about more often as a Great Guitarist ??? How come Rolling Stone Magazine doesn't put Neals face on it's cover as the greatest guitarist in rock today ??? I have been a fan of Neals for 26 years now, I know with there schedule and the chance of me meeting him is probably impossible , but I hope there's a chance. Journey recently played near my home at the PNC Bank Arts Center. If I didn't have all the bills I have right now I would have been the first person on line to buy tickets. I can remember the early eighties when you could attend a concert for $15.00 to $30.00 and have decent seats, today you have to spend $100.00 or more for the same seats. I miss live shows, I hope I can meet Neal and the rest of the members from Journey sometime in the future, that would be like hitting the lottery for me. Take care Neal, Jonathan, Arnel, Ross and Deen I hope you have a "Safe" and Successful tour.

Apple Pie and The New York Yankees are as American as it gets. Another great American success story would be the journey of Journey. Thirty Five years together and one of my favorite bands, Journey was put together back in 1973 from former members of Santana. With awsome ballads like "Don't Stop Believing", "Open Arms" and "Faithfully" and the bands 100 million albums sold worldwide, Neal, Ross, Jonathan, Deen and Arnel keep working hard to keep the millions of fans worldwide happy. Journey deserves to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2009/2010 . I know I'm only one fan, one voice speaking out to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Committee. Revelation, 2008 Album of the Year !!!

What makes an album sell millions of copies ??? What makes a song an instant hit ??? Journey's latest release "Revelation" This album features Arnel Pineda Journeys new incredible singer from the Philippines . The album features new tracks like "Never Walk Away" written by (N. Schon, J. Cain and J. Hunsicker) and old classics like "Faithfully" Jonathan Cains masterpiece. Revelation was incredible the first time I had a chance to play it, my favorite track on the album is "What I Needed" written by (N. Schon, J. Cain). With twelve tracks on disc 1 and eleven classics on disc 2 that's all it would have taken for me to purchase Revelation, but there's a bonus. Revelation also features a DVD with the tours March show in Las Vegas, "I could not believe it". An incredible live show with fourteen tracks new and old, an awesome concert !!!! A dedicated fan for over twenty six years, I sit here and wonder when Journey will get into the "Rock & Roll Hall of Fame". With over 100 Million albums sold since the 70's, when will my favorite band make it into the place they have deserved to be since it's oppening in 1995. It's 2008, Neal Schon, Ross Valory, Deen Castronovo, Arnel Pineda & Jonathan Cain are keeping the bands hits old and new alive on tour all around the world, it's about time the Hall of Fame takes a close look at what this band has accomplished over the years. I have listened to many bands since my high school days in the early eighties. I hope the band is recognized in my lifetime as a band that deserves it's name in the hall of fame. I want my children to see Dads favorite band years from now on future Hall of Fame tv specials. I hope Neals guitar, Jonathans red piano, Deens snare drum, Ross's bass guitar will line the walls of the museum in Cincinnati in the near future, I would love to see that soon...

The Real "Guitar Hero", Neal Schon

Many great guitarists have "Rocked" my stereo's over the years from Jimmy Page's “Whole Lotta Love” to Pete Townshend's "Rough Boys" and Eric Claptons "Layla" but my favorite of all time and he still keeps Rocking is Neal Schon. Neal Schon's great riffs, and the great sound he has created over his long career has made him a favorite of mine for twenty six years now. Hearing Neals early hits such as "Lies" & "The Ride" and his hits with Journey, I have loved his guitar playing since the early eighties. I would love to meet him in my lifetime and I hope I can get the chance to get a picture with him. Neal Schon & Journey should be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2009/2010 .

A Fan With A Million Smiles

Friday, It's 12:05 am sitting here at work I'm wondering if my wish will come true. Meeting the members of Journey a band I have listened to for over twenty six years now. This would be a dream come true and it would put a permanent smile on my face for years to come. Over the past few years there's been incredible tours from the Rolling Stones to The Police. Every show has offered special V.I.P. seats at incredible prices ranging from $500.00 to a $1000.00 dollars. A father of two boys ages 5 and 2, married to an incredible wife we both work opposite shifts to give our boys a decent life. I would love to attend these concerts especially Journey's in August, but as I sit here at work and seriously think about it, I know it cannot happen. If there's someone out in cyberspace that can offer me the experience of meeting Journey at the PNC BANK ARTS CENTER on August 21,2008, I can assure you this experience would put a million smiles on my face from August 21 to Eternity. Meeting Journey, An Incredible Thought.

Born in 1965 growing up in Passaic, NJ my life was filled with great family and friends. My teen years consisted of Hanging out on the street corner and the Jersey Shore with the guys and that cheap Boom Box blasting everything from AC/DC to Zebra, these are memories I will never forget. It was 1982 I found a part-time job at the Capitol Theater. The Capitol was located in a section of town that had it's ups and downs but the thought of being on the inside during a concert was an exciting consideration. Taking a Job "selling popcorn & soda", It was an easy job and I still was able to sneak peeks and listen to some incredible shows. Hearing many of these groups for the first time like Warren Zevon, Jerry Garcia, REM and The Stray Cats, I still listen to them today. It was one show "The Guitar Greats" I had the chance to watch Neal Schon jam up close with Jonathan Cain on keyboards. Seeing Neal and Jonathan up close instead of on MTV, I was hypnotized with there talent. Meeting Jonathan, Neal, Arnel, Deen and Ross would be an incredible time for me. I would never forget it and I would be "So Grateful" to whoever could make this a reality instead of just an "Incredible Thought".

After 4 Decades, Neal Schon Keeps Strumming Pure Rock !!!

It all started back in 1964 when Neal was just ten. Picking up a guitar and mastering it at an early age, he would soon become a Rock & Roll icon. Four decades later Neal continues to rock concert halls all around the world. From Santana to Azteca it is Journey my favorite band that Neal has jammed with since the groups beginning. After seeing Neal on stage at the Guitar Greats concert 1983 in Passaic, New Jersey, I have been a fan since. It's been a dream of mine to meet Neal for a photo and handshake, I hope on August 21, 2008 it will happen.

Arnel Pineda, Return of the 80's Magic !!!

Arnel Pineda, Neal Schon's pick as the new leed singer of Journey. Neal was hoping to find that someone special that would bring back that eighties excitement that's been missing for so long. Neal hit the jackpot with Arnel, a Filipino power house from Manila. If you think Neal travelled half way around the world to find the new singer your mistaken, he did'nt leave his home. Neal turned to the Information Super Highway, "Youtube". After watching videos one after another Neal found a cover band from the Philippines with an incredible leed singer named Arnel. Singing everything from Led Zepplin to The Police, it was a Journey track that had put a smile on Neals face. He was so excited he called Jonathan Cain up at midnight and told him to turn on his computer. Flying Arnel to San Francisco for his big audition was happening, did Journey find there next front man ???
It only took two days for the band to decide the "Magic" was finally back. I have been a Journey fan since the early eighties and I'm hoping and praying I'll finally meet the band I have wanted to meet for so long.

Make My Dream
Come True !!!

There are many famous people I would love to meet in my lifetime at the top of my list is, Neal Schon , Jonathan Cain , Ross Valory , Deen Castronovo , Arnel Pineda , The members of the greatest band of all time Journey. They have a show in August at the PNC Bank Arts Center. I'm hoping Neal or Jon will find my blog and contact me to help make my dream come true. I can remember the first show, it was the Capitol Theater 1983 in Passaic, NJ The Guitar Greats concert tapped for a MTV show called "Rock Influences". It was Neal, Tony Iommi, Dave Edmunds, David Gilmore plus Jonathan on keyboards with Paul Shaffer. Since this show I have seen Journey at least 5 times at the Meadowlands. When Steve vanished it was a sad time , now that Neal found Arnel an incredible singer from the Philippines , the "Magic" is back. I live in central NJ with my Filipino wife Cece and two boys Brian 4 and Sean 1, I have been married for 7 years.
