Tassimo....great Cappuccino in your own home!

I found an amazing Cappuccino machine, Tassimo (Bosch) Single serve system. You can easily enjoy a perfect cup of coffee, cappuccino, crema, hot chocolate or tea at the touch of a button - in about 60 seconds! With Tassimo, you have T-Discs that insert into the top part of the machine & without much fuss, press one button & you have coffee/cappuccino etc. I am so happy with this machine & it only cost $200!

I purchased mine at Bed Bath & Beyond after much research online, & I also got all my T-Discs there. Sure, you'll spend a bit more money then on a regular coffee machine, but a lot less than going to Starbucks. Trust me, I love Starbucks (I have my own Starbucks card), but sometimes, it's convenient to be able to make your own frothy & delicious cappuccino in your own home, with the touch of a button! My next goal is to try & buy a box of cappuccino T-Discs.

Fabricadabra, run by Donna Halloran, is now one of my favorite shops for throw cushions! The variety & the quality of the covers are fabulous! I am so happy with the Ikat covers I chose for my white french provincial sofa, looks great, don't you think? The ones I have are Silk/cotton ikat pillow covers from Uzbekistan. After posting this post below, I decided that the right coffee tale was a square one for this space. Thanks to all those who commented & sent their suggestions, I appreciate it! Remember I said $300 was my budget???

Well, I walked into West Elm on Friday night & was so enamored by this table , I just knew it was the one. I decided to ask the manager if he had any floor samples on sale (which is always a great way to score a deal, if they do) & to my surprise, he said " let me see, I think we may have one in the back that was put together, but never placed onto the floor, if it's still there, I will sell it as a floor model to you."

I kept my fingers crossed until he came out from the back of the store with good news for me. Well, he did! He said that he would sell the table to me for $350 (retail price $499)!!! I thought about my $300 budget, but it seemed like such a good deal to pass & it was in perfect condition, so it is now my new coffee table for the total price of $350!

In search of a coffee table.....

My family room sofa finally arrived & it's now in it's new home! Little by little I've been buying accessories & items for this area of my home. As you can see, I still haven't purchased a coffee table that fits the new look of the room. At this time my budget for a new coffee table is $300. I really don't think I want to spend more then that....which in turn, limits my selection quite a bit. And of course, it seems everything I REALLY like is always over $300.....argh!

I've picked out a few tables & would love to know your opinion on which one I should get. Should I go for rectangle or square?? If you know of a table you think would fit, please feel free to leave the link for me, I'll definitely check it out! The only thing I don't want, is a table that is too modern or has a large amount of silver....just because I'm trying to keep the brass/gold look. Thanks & enjoy the weekend!

I'm a BIG fan of Madeline Weinrib's textile deigns. I've been on the hunt for cushions lately for my new sofa and for my white upholstered sofa in my main living room. Madeline's designs are brilliant & I hope to one day have a couple of her cushions in my own home. Unfortunately, I don't know of any shops here in Las Vegas that carries them. However, if you're looking to get a hold of some, take a peek at the locations section of her site for your town. Lovely!!
