Like a proud parent on the first day of kindergarten we are both sad & happy to announce our beloved Cold War Kids are leaving the Monarchy nest and moving on to bigger pastures at Downtown Records. Their full length will be available this fall.

Judging by last nights sold out show at The Troubadour - and the jam packed San Diego show the evening before - Delta Spirit are the real deal. Fans are frothing at the mouth in anticipation of the bands debut recording; the 7 song MCD/ 8 song 12" entitled 'I Think I've Found It!' Check back in a week for official release info.

We’re back! After month’s without a proper website we decided to up our game and put together this gem. What have we been up to? To start, Cold War Kids have taken over the world… literally. After countless tours across the country, a trip across the pond, and upcoming jaunts to both Norway and Iceland, Cold War Kids have developed quite the buzz amongst young and old alike. Speaking of buzz, if you’ve browsed any blogs or picked up any magazines in the last 4 months, you’d have a tuff time not finding glowing reviews of the bands new EP’s.

So what’s new? Well, we’ve just issued both Cold War Kids EP’s together in a beautiful gatefold vinyl package (more on that on Friday). We’re also thrilled to announce the signing of San Diego’s own, Delta Spirit. The band has completed their debut EP and have a few tracks streaming at their myspace page. We’ll be announcing a street date for the CDEP/ 12” early next week.

Stay tuned as we’ll updating this thing daily and adding some more goodies to the store this week!
