My husband started a business a few months ago and so far I think it is going good so far. It's not really a big one. Right now actually we are doing business by word of mouth through friends, co workers and and of course recommendations through our customers.

Now I know that he has been wanting to get a front store for it but right now really, we just can't do it since we are both in school and if he decided to do the front store, we need someone to be in the store. So I told him that he may have to wait until I am done with school and get a job so we have some time of fall back.

Today, we went to do some install for one of our customer and I thought he was pretty happy about his new HID lights. Hopefully one these days we can work on some vehicle like Ferrari. I know he is excited to work on those Ferrari parts. Last week though he work on a Cadillac and the work on that took a while.

What I really been looking forward to having one in my car is the remote start. With the changing weather, it's not a bad idea to actually warm up my car and start it remotely while I am still inside the school building.

Shall Wii?

One of the electric gadget that I am eyeballing for this coming holiday is Wii. With the hectic schedule that I have been having, I don't have time to do any exercise anymore. So I was thinking that I might get the console and then get the Wii Fitness game. I've read some good reviews about it and I think I might be able to pull it off. Hitting two bird in one stone right. Not only that I can feed my addiction to games I get to move and do some exercise. Sounds already amazing to me.

I wonder if my husband will agree to the idea though.

With the holiday coming, hopefully will be able to find some great deals. Maybe will check out after Thanksgiving. Lots of sale after Thanksgiving.

So I can honestly say that I am addicted to all the farming games on facebook. I'm not sure if there's even a cure on this addiction, but I am hoping it will subside soon. I think it will, the reason is that I am almost to the last level and if you reach the last level, really there is no thrill anymore. Other than you keep accumulating "coins" and "experience" or the creator will have to add some other new fun things to do. But I think when holiday vacation came, I may not even have the time to play anymore, hopefully... I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Anyway, playing the games I've meet some few people and user that you wouldn't even imagine playing the game. Like this particular "farmer" that I chatted with one time while I was waiting for somebody to hire me to work on their farm ( Am I talking gibberish? Well, you know with real life farming, you can either hire people to work for you or do it yourself right, well this game on facebook is also like that. But its more like you hang around the market area until other players hire you.. literally hire you) and of course while waiting you can chat with other players. So with this particular user, we kinda click and I ask him why he was playing really late. Is he not working or have school or something. And he mentions that he was on social security disability so he is not working.

So pretty much its not just me who is hooked on the game. People from all walks of life, young or old... they are there playing.

Sometimes though I wish that my farm is real. Its a huge one and with all the amenities that it has right now, I can definitely live on that farm .

Farmtown is one of the interactive game you can play in Facebook. I have seen a lot of people who are getting addicted with this game. Old and young as a matter of fact.

Before I started playing farmtown on facebook I have been getting a lot of invite already. So finally I decided to join in and 3 weeks after starting I am almost on the last level... almost. Give me a break I have a life outside too.

But my original plan was to get the fell and maybe write something about it and 3 weeks later I am hook. Instead of making my own tutorials which will probably take me a lot of hours on the computer I decided to compile great tutorials that I have found as well as videos of awesome designs.

If you are playing farm town, you might want to check some of the coolest designs I have seen. Also, I have added a video from one of the "farmer" who made some waterfalls.

You need an expert

One of the many things that I don't like to do is packing and then unpacking stuff during the move. All my life I think I've move like 5-6 times already but I know that there's a lot of people who had move more than that. And I don't know how can they do it. I mean its good that you get to experience new environment and met new people. I am the adventurous kind of gal but I guess when you start a family and then kids come along, its a bit harder to move to different places. You atleast want something that your kids will remember when they grow older. Something that they can reminisce and tell their children what kind of childhood they had.

The most gruesome part of moving for me is when you move from one state to another. When I move here in the US I don't really have to worry a lot of stuff. Let's just say that I left all of them back home. It will be too expensive to ship all of my stuff from one country to another. However, like I said moving from one state to another... this one you need great help from cross country movers. I know somebody who move from Texas to North Carolina and what they did was sell all the big stuff that they have and just take the little stuff. I guess you can say that they want a fresh start. Well, it's not a bad idea either, specially if you don't want to pack all the stuff that you have and drive all of them to your new home.

Why is it that when I don't get a lot of sleep it seems that I am getting more pimples and breakout. I don't know if there is a connection between the two but I am so ready to get my hands on a great natural acne treatments that can actually stop the breaking out.

There are times that I feel like I am a teen since I been getting all breakouts. Would be nice if I also have the skin of a teen. Although I was thinking maybe it was more due to the stress level that I am having right now with all of the school work that I have to finish and at the same time trying to juggle being a parent, taking care of the house (that part I haven't been doing a great job). So many things to do and so little time.

Any idea of what kind of natural treatment I can do for breakouts. I just feel like I am too old for break outs. Don't forget to share.

One of the things I have on my list is to get some braces. I have been wanting to get one but right now I don't have the money to do it. Hopefully in the next year or so. But I can't decide which one will work for me. I kinda like the one where people can't really tell that you have braces but then again I also like the one where you can see it.

I found this Orange NJ invisalign and they really have a lot of information about the invisalign. Come to think of it, maybe I'll just have the invisalign so I won't have an issue with cleaning all the food that will get trap with the braces.

Stuff Happens

So it's been a while since I blog... Almost a week. I have been busy with things and I just can't find the time. And somehow I have been stressed out lately because of the things that I have to do for school. I guess you can say that I am a little bit out of focus. I just cannot prioritize the things that needs to go first.

But anyway, on my way to school this afternoon... there was this vehicle infront of me... one car infront of me. Just out of nowhere there was a thick smoke coming from it. So of course the car infront of me has to change lane so we are not stuck in traffic and as I follow, I saw that the car was in fire. The guy who was driving the vehicle was running towards the sidewalk and I was really anxious and nervous. I keep thinking the car might explode since it was on fire. Too much television right?

Good thing there was a close fire station just infront of my school. A few minutes later I saw the fire truck heading out. Thank goodness. Poor guy. I wonder if he has a good car insurance. I mean that's not going to fall on a mechanical breakdown insurance right. The car was on fire... maybe there was some electric circuits or something.

I get really panicky and freaked out when things happen. Must be a sign of too much stressed.

Spooky Projects

Last year I found this cute minnie mouse pumpkin design and since we didn't have a whole lot of time to do any halloween decorations, I went ahead and made it for my daughter.

This year however, I decided to try my hands on carving some. It's my first time carving pumpkin and I think it turned out okay {grin}. That's according to my husband... he tends to get a little biased since I am his wife.

My husband did the big one and I did the little one {you can't hardly see the little one- sitting on the bike} for my daughter and the spotty pumpkin. I have another a couple more pumpkins that I want to carve, hopefully I'll be able to do them today. I'll post the pictures once I finished them.

Some People Do Stupid Things

I love watching shows in Lifetime channel. And one time I was watching this show about a teacher who almost lost everything because somebody stolen her identity. The bad part was the person who stole it was from the mortgage company that she was working with to purchase her first house. I can't really remember the title of the show but it was based on true story and her story I think was the start of the passing of laws foridentity theft protection.

I mean it was that easy to get somebody's information and used all her money to get stuff. The lady even bought the same car she was driving. And since she has a great credit history, the person who stole her identity did not have a hard time getting a bunch of stuff. I can't imagine if that would happen to me. I might have a heart attack just trying to fix things up and I don't even have a heart problem.

You can never really imagine what people will do when they are in tight situation. So really the best thing to do is prevention. Check out companies that specialize in identity protection. Make sure that you have some sort of alert when somebody uses your information. You can also take advantage of the free credit report that you can get once a year.

Things I love and {hate} this season

Don't you just love it when the season change. I absolutely love the colors of the fall. Although over here in Texas we don't get pretty as compare to places like Colorado or Kentucky. With all of the places I choose Colorado and Kentucky... well, Colorado really looks pretty with all of the mountains covered in ice and Kentucky, I been there during fall season and the trees are just lovely. I was lost for words the first time we head down to visit.

It's like somebody had painted the trees and leaves.

But of course, as the season change there is always something that we don't like about it. As for me, I don't like it due to the fact that there's a lot of people that are getting sick.. flu season. Personally, my allergy is a big issue for me during fall. Although my allergy wasn't that bad before we move to our house. Now I am thinking maybe it is because the house was old and it took us a while to have the carpet change and let tell you, I really don't like the smell of the house.

And finally the start of this year, when our carpet was change and all the furnace filters was change, I was able to breath better.

Another thing that I don't like during fall is cleaning all the leaves in the yard. It's crazy. We have a total of 7 trees and when all the leaves fall out, its a lot of work. But I guess it's not that bad since my daughter absolutely love the leaves and play in the pile of leaves.

"Good for the kids, hard on my back."

Here's another one that I love during this season.

The holidays... definitely something to look forward to. And of course as my daughter said, "We love trick or treating!" Now that my daughter is 3 years old, she actually knows trick or treating now. I bet she will absolutely love the next coming holidays... the reason?
Well... there's going to be plenty of gifts to open.

Plans...

Vacation House - this is one of our future plans, to have a vacation house or maybe even a retirement house. Something close to family and friends. Although, the second part might be an overstatement, since most of my friends I hardly even see or talk to.

Last night I actually lay awake... I went to bed late and I could not sleep. Finally, my body decided to gave in maybe around 6-6:30am... yup! That late.

For some reason, I have this longing feeling again for my old friends. College and friends from my previous work. Most of my college friend, I only get in touch with them through email and sometimes chat. My friends from my work before, same thing. Although most of the time it's only through social network that we leave comments and messages. Hmmmm... the cyber age. I missed the times when people actually write letters to each other... snail mail as we used to call it. I cannot remember the last time I received a snail mail. It's been ages. But anyway, I lay awake all night and just memories flashing back and what will be my life I have made a different decision.

What's weird though was I was actually trying to put together my life and I told myself... maybe I can write a book about it. Just something I can start with and you know work on it one day at a time. I know my life wasn't that all exciting but just the thought of starting something... maybe I'll get on to it when I don't have anything else to do. More time to let my imagination run wild... Oh, I like that idea...

But anyway, back to the vacation house... we still don't know where's the location or the design and layout as well as the budget. Although I did see this Outer Banks vacation rentals from a website and they have some great vacation houses in North Carolina. I haven't been to North Carolina but I've heard some great stuff about it. My husband is from Kentucky and we have a relative who lives in the Carolina's. Plus I love the nature and I think The Carolina is the perfect place. Now the big question is when are we going to purchase it?

I can only dream....

With all of the stress and the late nights that I have been having lately, you would think that I should be losing weight...however, it seems like the opposite. The other day I was putting my pants and I've noticed that I can barely fit on it. Maybe it was just that the pants was old and has shrunk. But then again, I second guess that part.

Instead I went to the our closet and check my weight... Well, maybe our scale is broken... I definitely did not like the numbers I saw on the scale.

But I don't think it's the sleeping late that is causing my weight gain. It is more of the lack of exercise. I used to be very active but lately I haven't been doing any exercise. Blame it to the school work that I have to do, the cold weather and just me being lazy most of the time.

I really need to kick my butt and get on with some exercise. I'm not into the diet pills really because I hate taking any pills. I am too chicken for that. Although I checked out some top weight loss pills website just to see some information plus I came across some name of these pills on my Pharmacology class and it really interesting to find out about the drugs. Fascinating to find out what these drugs can do and how it can alter appearances and the effects in our body.

Plasma or Plasma?

What's the difference? The same spelling but it can mean two things. It can mean a blood plasma, which by the way is beginning to be an issue with me. It looks to me that my professor is having this "trip" and he keeps giving us a bunch of things to do for his class. I can't keep up anymore. The thing about it is that I am not the type of student who is a slacker... I usually do good when it comes to keeping up with school work. But so far now all I can think of is plasma.

Another one that I can think of when I see the word plasma is a plasma mounts. Something that will make mounting your plasma tv a lot easier.

I have never really thought of any other word that have the same spelling but can mean different meaning. Two different meaning.

Just when you think life is not being fair to you?

About a week ago, Typhoon "Ondoy" (known in the Internationally as "Ketsana") made a lot of families flee for their lives, some were lucky but a lot are not so lucky. According to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), Ketsana dropped 455 mm (17.9 in) of rain on Metro Manila in a span of 24 hours on Saturday - the most in 42 years. A month's worth of rainfall in a single day washed away homes and flooded large areas, stranding thousands on rooftops in the city and elsewhere. Ketsana later crossed over to Vietnam and Cambodia, where it is still active. Over 360 people are known to have been killed, and damage estimates are reaching $100 million. Unfortunately, another tropical storm headed toward the southern Philippines last Wednesday.

Using coupons is great way to save. I've started clipping coupons when I was pregnant. Since we are going to have an addition in our family, I thought its a great way to start using coupons that are being sent to us or something that I can get from the Sunday newspaper. Although me and my husband are actually using store coupons whenever we purchase something and they offer some coupons. I even subscribe to get coupon codes from different places and stores that we frequent visit as well as websites that I like. I love getting one for diapers and baby products when my daughter was younger. The money that I save, I can use it for something else.

So when I saw couponchief.com, I was really excited because I have a one place that I can search for coupon code. Like these Footlocker coupon and Children's Place coupon, I just can't resist. The Footlucker coupon was a perfect timing since I am planning of getting some new boots.

Our fountain is back!

A few years back, we've purchased a fountain and it was a nice feature that was added in the garden area. What's nice about it is that we got a great deal out of it since it was on sale when we got it. However, a couple of months ago, it just quit working. After my husband check out what was wrong with it, he mentions something about the motor... and the other day he bought one and install it. So now our fountain is working again.

I was outside yesterday just listening to the soothing sound that its making...and how it sounds like the gushing of the water in the river. Very calming.

Originally, we really wanted to build a pond at the back. Since we have a big backyard we thought that having one will add some appeal on our bare backyard. But so far we haven't really done anything but planted a few bushes and flowers to it. We were eyeing some pond filters that we can use for the pond as well as some designs but I think the big issue really is the time and budget. Then of course the priority. Since we are not done with the renovations inside the house, I think its best that we finish the inside first before doing anything outside.

Hopefully, we'll have everything accomplish before we turn 50! So many things to do, so little time.
