This past weekend we ended up putting together an "all-star team" (Fr. Auve's term, not ours) to do a Jr. High retreat down in Mt. Angel, Oregon at the Fr. Bernard Y</span><span style=";font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:85%;" >outh Center (www.fbyc.info).<br /></span><span style="font-size:85%;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://www.reachym.com/blogs/laura/uploaded_images/Oregon-Retreat-015-765549.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 243px; height: 184px;" src="http://www.reachym.com/blogs/laura/uploaded_images/Oregon-Retreat-015-764256.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /></span><span style=";font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:85%;" >For the first time since I can remember I led a Jr. High small group...which rocked! The girls from St. James Parish in McMinnville were awesome and our Christian commercial was the best!<br /></span><span style="font-size:85%;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://www.reachym.com/blogs/laura/uploaded_images/Oregon-Retreat-057-794831.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 228px; height: 171px;" src="http://www.reachym.com/blogs/laura/uploaded_images/Oregon-Retreat-057-787234.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /></span><span style=";font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:85%;" >Being on "team" with Dan, Brent Durschmidt, Maria Orias and good ol' Matt Libra was a very great experience. Thanks to them for a g</span><span style=";font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:85%;" >reat weekend. It was a great reminder to me of what we ask the teams to do for 10 months of the year and reminded me in a new way of my love for sharing the Gospel through retreat ministry...it's why I'm here.<br /></span><span style="font-size:85%;"><br /></span><span style=";font-family:trebuchet ms;font-size:85%;" >And just a little about the Fr. Bernard Youth Center...it was amazing. The chapel alone is worth going there for. The whole facility is comfortable, relaxing and a great place for a retreat.
