Ellen DeGeneres Is The New American Idol Judge

It’s official; Ellen DeGeneres will be the new fourth judge on American Idol. The comedian has signed on as Paula Abdul’s replacement. According to a just released video, she will sit alongside Randy, Simon, and Kara.

I think she could bring some fresh new spunk to the show—plus she’s freakin’ hilarious. I doubt she has the musical know-how that Paula had, but Ellen does claim to be a major fan of the show. Here’s what she had to say about the new gig:

"I've watched since the beginning, and I've always been a huge fan. So getting this job is a dream come true, and think of all the money I'll save from not having to text in my vote."

She says she’ll be the people’s voice on Idol, and won’t look at the singers from a music producer’s point of view, but from a fan’s perspective.

The announcement that Ellen will be the new American Idol judge comes several weeks after Paula Abdul tweeted that she wouldn’t be returning to the show. Rumors had flown around about who might be her replacement, with Ellen being one of the most recent.

She’ll join the judges immediately following the audition portion of the show, which will only be judged by Simon, Kara, and Randy.

On the season premiere of the Tyra Banks show, she will let the audience see her real hair. Now people are scouring the web for photos of the reveal.

So why is it a big deal? Well, I guess the former Victoria’s Secret model was sporting some sea biscuit until now.

Once again, she verifies what we had all suspected—the world really does revolve around her! Here's how she plans to unveil her natural hair:

“(She will come) out of the shower with wet hair…my hairdresser's going to do my hair live on stage.”

I have to say, I do like the concept behind what she’s trying to do: help young women feel like they are naturally beautiful. It’s also good to hear that she’s going to try to break down some stereotypes about the fashion industry on the next season of America’s Next Top Model.

The New York Daily News reports that she’s going to focus only on girls who are 5’7” and shorter. Personally, I think most high-fashion models resemble Olive Oil (sorry Popeye), so this should be a welcome change.

Jessica Simpson sure does bounce back fast. The 29-year-old singer is now reportedly in the beginnings of a relationship with Washington Redskins Quarterback Colt Brennan.

The best part is that Brennan is supposedly her ex-boyfriend Tony Romo’s archrival.

According to reports, Brennan and Jessica Simpson have been sending sexy email and text messages to each other. Also, Star Magazine reports that they have now set up webcams so they can do live video chats!

He even sent her tickets to his Redskin’s game against the New York Giants in September.

Looks like she found a new football team to curse!

Michael Phelps In Car Accident

Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps was involved in a three-car accident while driving his Cadillac Escalade in Baltimore, Maryland on Thursday.

He is reportedly okay, but a woman from one of the other cars involved in the wreck was taken to the hospital complaining of pain in her head and arm.

Witnesses claim that one of the three cars ran a red light, but it remains unclear whether or not it was Phelps. Phelps’ car collided in the intersection with a Honda Accord. Then one of the two cars crashed into another parked car.

Perez Hilton also posted a quote from an onlooker at the scene of the wreck, who stated:

"gawkers started snapping pics of Michael and the car crash and he started freaking out on them, ordering them to delete the photos!"

Witnesses also reported that Phelps appeared to be traveling close to 50MPH just prior to the accident.

We think this little blip is much better than having pot-smoking pictures released

Former Making The Band Star Sara Stokes Arrested

Sara Stokes, a cast member of the original season of the reality show Making The Band, was arrested in an alleged domestic violence incident.

This mug-shot picture of Stokes was floating around online today showing her face all cut up and bruised.

The strange thing is, Sara reportedly fell after storming out during an argument with her husband. The singer then tried to blame her busted up face on him, accusing him of physically assaulting her.

Even wilder than that—Stokes allegedly stabbed her husband in the arm shortly after the fall! She was later arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.

Confused yet? Now check out this statement from her attorney:

"Sara and Tony have a very passionate and loving relationship that on August 2, while having an evening of fun, she slipped and fell, hitting her head heavily on the ground and somehow in the process of helping her Tony got injured."

Okay, let’s try to piece it together. Sara stokes was arguing with her husband, she walked away angrily and fell. She then tried to blame him, and stabbed him in the process?

The most tragic part about it is the news that her kids were right there to witness the alleged assault and their mother being arrested. Sounds very passionate to me. We’ll see how this one shakes out in court.

Keyshia Cole Has A New Shaved Head Hair-Cut

Keyshia Cole now has a partially shaved head. That’s right, she has joined a growing number of celebs who have gotten the new half-shaved quasi-mohawk hair-style.

The most notable lady celeb to buzz the sides of her head was Rhianna, who emerged a few weeks ago with the new half-shaved zebra hair-cut.

With her new hair-cut, Keyshia Cole has now jumped on the bandwagon along with Cassie, Solange, and former MTV personality LaLa.

Twilight star Ashley Green has had nude pictures hit the internet. The actress, who plays Alice Cullen in the movie version of the Twilight saga, is apparently took these pictures before she was famous. The nude photos have been removed from most sites, as Ashley's lawyer threatened legal action.

"The photos in question, which appear to be of our client, are illegal and are being unlawfully displayed. Our client intends to take legal action."

It just wouldn't be a week in Hollywood without a nude photo scandal! If you are looking for those NSFW pics, you may have to do some research, as they have been removed from most sites after the threat of legal action. We do have a video of the pictures posted below.

Miley Cyrus performed her song Party In The USA on tonight’s Teen Choice Awards. The performance was a bit risqué for the 16-year-old and even included a brief pole dance.

The show was filmed Sunday night, and a fan in the audience captured a video of the performance and posted it on Youtube.

Ever since it was leaked, searches for video and pictures of her performing at the Teen Choice Awards have been a hit item online.

In all fairness it does appear that the pole was simply there for her to grab onto while being pushed along on top of the ice-cream cart. But I'm sure that in planning they were aware of how that might be perceived.

Miley seems a little too eager to shed the goody-goody Disney image she once had. First photos of the underage star wearing next to nothing popped up online, then a fake sex-pics scandal hit, and now the web is buzzing with a video of her pole dancing. What’s next?

Autopsy Report Shows Cocaine A Factor In Billy Mays Death

According to the autopsy, Billy Mays is now reported to have had cocaine in his system at the time of his death.

The report also concluded that although heart disease was the cause of death, his use of cocaine was a contributor. Billy Mays use of the drug reportedly had a “cumulative effect,” that became a catalyst in the failure of his heart.

Here’s a brief snippet from the Hillsborough County press release:

"From the presence of metabolites of cocaine and the absence of cocaine itself, it was concluded that Mr. Mays used cocaine in the few days prior to his death but not immediately prior to death.”

Also mentioned in the report was the overall effect of cocaine on the heart. The drug apparently causes a raise in blood pressure, which can thicken the wall of the left ventricle. That effect can then lead to “atherosclerosis in the coronary arteries.”

To put it simply, coke can effing kill you. Here’s a video about his drug use:

Officials did not specify how much of the drug the pitchman used, and stopped short of calling it excessive. They stated that it did not appear he used it immediately before his death.

Billy Mays family however, seemed to brush aside the reported drug use, claiming the autopsy summary “contains speculative conclusions." Here is part of their statement:

"Given the hectic nature and pace of Billy's life… it was not surprising to hear that hypertension was the cause of his death. We… are actively considering an independent evaluation of the autopsy results.”

There were also traces of other prescription drugs in his system, including xanax, valium, hydrocodone, oxycodone and tramadol. None of the other drugs were listed as contributors of his death.

Billy Mays does have a family history of Heart Disease. May he rest in peace.

Victoria Beckham To Guest Judge American Idol

Victoria Beckham will reportedly spice up American Idol next season, with a two-episode appearance as a guest judge.

The news came oddly close to the revelation that Paula Abdul won’t be returning due to a contract disagreement. This had led some to wonder whether or not a permanent spot on American Idol could be in the works.

The Idol gig will easily be the biggest spot she’s landed since she and David Beckham launched their own mini-British invasion a few years ago. First there was the Spice Girls reunion tour in 2008. Then she moved on to fashion, launching her own line, as well as making appearances in ads for both Marc Jacobs and Giorgio Armani.

But her reps insist that it is only a one time thing, saying:

Vanessa Hudgens 2009 New Picture Scandal!!!

Vanessa Hudgens is facing another scandal. New pictures have leaked of the actress in which she is partially nude, posing topless. These 2009 leaked pictures have been confirmed as real.

Hudgens took the photos for her boyfriend, Zac Efron, and a source told the Enquirer, "Vanessa took some suggestive shots of herself in the buff as a surprise for Zac."

Back in 2007, Vanessa faced a similar photo scandal, where nude pictures were also leaked to the net. While the actress denies that they were just a big publicity stunt, she claimed she did not regret it.

Ironically, these 2009 pictures have hit the net just a week before her new film, Bandslam comes out.

McPhee’s new album, Unbroken, hits stores soon, and we presume the record company may have had something to do with her choice to dye her hair blonde.

George Sodini Website Shows He Planned Gym Shooting

LA Fitness shooter George Sodini apparently kept a blog detailing the days leading up to his planned shooting of the gym he was a member of. Some have even called it the killer’s diary, which was posted on a website that gives a startling glimpse in to the shooters mindset before the murders.

George Sodini’s website had frightening entries, even up to the day before the PA shooting. Like this one, posted August 3rd:

“Total effort needed. Tomorrow is the big day. Unfortunately I talked to my neighbor today, who is very positive and upbeat. I need to remain focused and absorbed COMPLETELY. Last time I tried this, in January, I chickened out.”

In the previous quote, the gym shooters blog mentions that he apparently planned to do the shooting back in January but “chickened out.” Here’s what George Sodini wrote before the actual attempt on January 5th:

“There’s a women (at the gym) there that gives me a certain look every time I am there…Better than I do not get sidetricked from tomorrow’s plan anyway…One or two dates with her then the end.”

Jordan Scott Says Book The Nocturne Stolen By Meyer

Author Jordan Scott is seeking to halt production of Breaking Dawn, the fourth in a series of movies based on the Twilight saga by Stephanie Meyer. Scott’s lawyers claim she wrote a book called The Nocturne several years ago that bears a striking resemblance to Breaking Dawn, and for that reason production of the movie, and distribution of the book should be stopped.

But is there any merit to Jordan Scott’s claim? According to MTV.com here’s how The Nocturne and Breaking dawn compare:

“One is a modern tale about doomed teenage love between a human and a vampire, with a third-wheel werewolf, set in Forks, Washington. The other is a magical tale of doomed love between a young sorcerer and a teenage girl in 15th-century France, penned by a then 15-year-old author/actress/singer as the first installment of a planned trilogy. “

Jordan Scott has now provided a cease and desist letter to Hachette Book Group, the publishing company behind Breaking Dawn. Here’s a video about The Nocturne book and the lawsuit:

But representatives at Hachette didn’t seem too concerned, and claim that Stephanie Meyer didn’t have knowledge of The Nocturne by Jordan Scott until after the plagiarism claim was made. Hachette also says that Jordan Scott’s attorneys haven’t even sent them a copy of the book to examine.

The representative even went so far as to say: “The world of the Twilight Saga and the stories within it are entirely the creation of Ms. Meyer. Her books have been a phenomenal sensation, and perhaps it shouldn't be surprising to hear that other people may seek to ride the coattails of such success.”

We’ll just have to wait and see whether or not Jordan Scott gets anywhere with these claims.

Michael Jackson’s Crime Scene Death-Bed Photos

British tabloid News Of The World has supposedly gotten a hold of photos of Michael Jackson’s death-bed taken on July 26. The photos allegedly show MJ’s bedroom at his rented Bel Air mansion, and various items strewn about the bed and floor.

A family member reportedly took the death-bed pictures while the room was still considered a crime scene. The pics show a wide variety of medical and other personal items.

Here’s a brief list:

An air pump for CPR use, a homemade tourniquet (we can assume that was used for administering intravenous drugs), incontinence pads, prayer beads, a doll (remember the reports that he slept with a porcelain doll?), a CD/DVD, and alcohol-soaked pads (could be used to clean the skin before a shot).

If you put the items together in your head, CSI style, it would paint a pretty grim picture of the last few hours of the singer’s life.

Fred Corral of the LA Coroner’s Office has confirmed that the room depicted in the photos is the real deal, saying: “That IS the scene where Michael Jackson died.”

Ace golfer Tiger Woods let one rip at the Buick Open this week. Nope that wasn’t a bullfrog, it was Tiger letting loose a fart.

The video has been flying around the net today of one of modern golf’s greatest FINALLY doing something I myself can do too!

It was well executed I might add, one of those medium length ones, that still has just the right tone.

In the Tiger Woods fart video he is off camera. But moments after he farted, the camera cuts to him standing there, laughing in embarrassment. It occurs at about 0:40 in the video. I wonder if he had a turtlehead poking out? Who knows, but it makes me wonder if one of his competitors slipped something in his food.

At last, we know who Jude Law’s mystery baby mama is: Samantha Burke. That’s right, she is reportedly expecting to give birth to a baby girl named Sophia on October 6th.

DNA tests have allegedly confirmed that he is the daddy. That would make 36-year-old Jude Law a father of four.

His ex-wife Sadie Frost gave birth to the first three babies: Rafferty, 12, Iris, 8, and Rudy, 6.

The good news is that he seems very receptive to the revelation that he is the father of the child that Samantha Burke is carrying.

Gidget The Taco Bell Dog Dies

Well, folks, today is the day that the Taco Bell Dog Dies (Estoy Muerto!). That’s right, I guess she’ll never get to experience what a Taco tastes like.

After a good run in showbiz, Gidget the Taco Bell Dog has died of a stroke at the age of 15. Hey, 105 doggie years ain’t bad!

Not only did she draw national attention with her Taco Bell commercials, but figurines and stuffed animals in her likeness can still be found all over the place. I have even seen t-shirts with photos and pictures of her on the front.

Aside from uttering “Yo Quiero Taco Bell,” in the commercials, Gidget also made appearances on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, and Legally Blonde 2.

The dog’s trainer, Sue Chipperton, says she lived a relaxing lifestyle once retired, which included basking in the sun. Then suddenly, she started making unhealthy noises and that’s when she suffered her stroke. Pobrecita!

While it’s upsetting to hear that the headline “Taco Bell Dog Dies,” just remember that all dogs go to heaven (I know my big lab-mix, and my Golden Retriever are up there just waiting to meet a celeb dog like Gidget).

Erin Andrews peephole video is just creepy and the details just get scarier and scarier. The peep hole video hit the net earlier this week and Erin quickly fought to have it removed as it was clear she did not know she was being filmed.

Erin was in her hotel room when someone drilled a hole in the wall and filmed the ESPN sports caster nude. The video comes from a few different rooms, all of which she was naked, so the creep must have been sitting there watching her for a while. Being that the peephole videos were filmed at several different hotel rooms, it is suspected that the person who taped it is connected with the coverage of athletic events.

Erin's Lawyer Marshall B. Grossman released the following statement:

"Although the perpetrators of this criminal act have not yet been identified, when they are identified, she intends to bring both civil and criminal charges against them and against anyone who has published the material."

If I were you, I wouldn't look for the Erin Andrews peephole video. Though there are several pictures and cached videos, many of them have viruses.

Xavier Samuel Casted As Riley In Eclipse

We just caught word that Xavier Samuel will play Riley in the third installment of the Twilight movies—Eclipse. Samuel is described as a baby-faced Australian, who is relatively unknown. That is all about to change in a major way.

It will be interesting to see how Xavier Samuel pulls of the character of Riley, who is a college student drawn in by Victoria’s vengeful plan to kill Bella. In Eclipse, Victoria is bitter because Edward helped to kill her lover James, and she is looking for pay back with a plot to kill Bella.

Xavier Samuel has been in a few minor Australian films like 2:37, Newcastle and September. Eclipse will be his first American motion picture. It should be a major break for him, especially considering the first Twilight movie made over $362 Million.

Surprisingly Xavier Samuel is even older than R-Pats. At 25, he had this to say about playing young college student Riley:

“Maybe one day I’ll get to play my actual age. For now my baby face has condemned me to play the teenager.”

From looking at his pictures I can see what he means. In all of the photos we have found of Xavier Samuel, he looks about 18. Either way, he’s about to make a s^%$-ton of money!

Steve McNair was found murdered this week, with four gunshot wounds throughout his body. A 20 year old woman was found dead alongside him, named Sahel Kazemi. It turns out that Sahel had been “dating” McNair for quite sometime.

The NFL great reportedly even bought her a car, and would take her on vacations to Vegas. Ever since his murder, and the discovery of both bodies, people have been trying to piece together exactly what happened. Here is a video of Sahel Kazemi, the alleged McNair mistress.

Authorities stopped short of calling it a murder suicide, and appear to be waiting for lab tests to be returned before making that judgment. That hasn’t stopped people from trying to find pictures and images of Sahel Kazemi.

Sahel was reportedly pulled over the night before the murder with blood-shot eyes, and was arrested after telling police she was high. She even supposedly bought a gun that fits the description of the murder weapon. All sings point to a murder-suicide, but as I said above, we’ll just have to wait for confirmation.

After looking at Sahel Kazemi’s facebook images, it’s hard to believe she would be capable of something like that. But I guess love can drive you to do crazy things.
