I just love seeing all ...One of my favorite cities! I just love seeing all the layers of cultures built up over the same spot. I remember walking through the lower level of the various Roman baths (hot, warm, cool), and the incredible archaeological finds, including small dolls of gods and curses written on pieces of lead which had been tossed into the waters, like a Roman wishing well.<BR/><BR/>Just got back from a week in Japan as part of a Sister City delegation. We had a fantastic stay, which included visits to Japanese hot baths -- the appeal of the hot spring appears to be universal.Cynthianoreply@blogger.com
